I stole her from her gilded cage… and locked her in my own.
Beautiful. Naive. Captive.
Zaira Ferelli is mine. I made sure of that when I murdered her father. He was weak. I am strong. And where he failed, I will succeed.
That means corrupting his innocent daughter. There’s a war raging beyond these castle walls—a war that I started because of her—and she’s not going anywhere until I get what I want. The heir to my mafia empire.
But there are those who want her dead almost as much as I need her alive. The fools. No one threatens my princess… no one but me .
They’ll learn quickly enough. And so will she.
Royalty comes at a cost, and that cost is savage .

Trapped with You is book one in the Savage Royalty series. I found this to be a fast paced story that I inhaled pretty quickly.
An arranged marriage has Zaira clearing her fathers debt, or so she thought. Diego certainly grew on me as I kept reading. These two characters are explosive together.
Brilliant read with a great storyline. I’m so looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.
1st time author 🤔 CRAZY this book was crazy Mafia read but very interesting and enjoyable kind of crazy ...believe me you won't feel boredom!!! Never because the HERO is simply a crazy man he is heartless cold blooded rude a jerk and did I mention a KILLER 😂 If you're up to a crazy read ..go ahead 👍
I loved this dark mafia read. Diego takes Zaira from her father and he has plans on corrupting her but as a mafia rages on, she isn’t safe and there are those who want her dead. Fast-paced dark read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Intense chemistry with lots of drama and emotion. I was hooked from beginning to end.
I feel bad whenever I leave a poor review—I know how hard authors work and how much they pour into their stories—but I’ve got to be honest, this was one of the most boring and pointless books I’ve ever read. The plot? What plot? I gave up, very irritated, at 77%. The entire book could have been summed up and condensed into the first 25%. It’s that boring and slow. The whole book is fluff and filler. The characters are...bland and forgettable. I thought it had great potential at first, but then it just continued to drag on, so slow and painful. I skimmed probably half the book before I gave up at 77%. It’s also a terrible “mafia/crime” story. I really dislike mafia books that come across as little boys playing with guns on childish tantrums. It’s as believable as all those RH school bully stories where the 15 year olds have their entire bodies tattooed somehow, and they all apparently have licenses and all drive the world’s most expensive and rare cars. It takes a lot of suspended belief to get through books, like this one, where the story comes across as a spoiled, rich kid playing dress-up.
I rated this book a 3.5. Characters are part of any good book and Diego, in particular was not a character I connected with until the last 1/4 of the book. Zaira's character was okay considering her age and her upbringing, but also was a disappointment.
The storyline was a bit convoluted and drawn out but basically the writing was very good and the story had enough twists and turns to keep reader's interested in the plot to the very end. The cover of the book has a much older woman that Zaira's actual character which I found misleading but overall the plot and the storyline was good and the book was well edited.
Diego's character seemed immature throughout much of this book with reckless tendencies and anger management issues. He finally shows some maturity by books' end and starts treating Zaira as more than a vessel for an heir. His constant remarks throughout the book referring to her as "his property" got old quickly. Diego is a horny devil throughout this book constantly referring to his "equipment" which seemed immature " locker room or college age chatter" vs., that of an older man.
Zaira's character matures by books' end and she falls in love with Diego. When a heroine is treated badly throughout a book until the books end, it can be a hard sell for me to believe that they fall in love with the person who has inflicted so much pain and suffering; but anything can happen in fiction.
I.. don't know what to think about this book. It started out okay, I was intrigued, and then it became boring about halfway through. The main character was very whiney and always weak, unsure what the deal with that was. Yes, Diego drug her out of the house and brought her to his weird house in the forest, but she literally laid in bed - didn't shower- and didn't even find the bathroom until Diego told her she stunk.
Diego was an INSANE person, there was MAYBE 3 redeeming qualities to him which made it really difficult to read. Having someone say "my seed" multiple times is also enough to make you never want to read again. Ziara, she started off so strong, but ended up so dumb. She was interesting, I was intrigued where this was going to go since her dad was crazy and locked her in the house, turns out or girl is about as interesting as the door Diego burst through. Some of the quotes, like Diego's, were ridiculous. I can only handle "my petals" and my "juices" so many times.
I wanted to like this book, I put it down at around the 71% mark, I might come back to it. It just sort of fizzled out to me, it was drawn out too. I wanted them to get married and all that but by 71% they still were not married and Diego was still a raging lunatic.

Uh, can I just say WOW! I was not expecting that from a free KU book, from an author I’d never heard of before. I mean this book was everything!!! It was so fast paced, so I was never anything but riveted! I loved the characters, I loved the story, I loved the arranged marriage troupe. I mean, it just checked all my favorite boxes. Honestly, if I had any complaints- it’s that I could have been longer. It seems though that there will be a series of individual stories with the one common over-arching storyline. I’m here for that. Maybe further down the line we will even get to see them again?!?!? Huh? ::nudge:nudge::wink:wink::
Wrote like a teen .a mature teen but teen non the less. Aspects of this story were rushed and almost interesting.. Then it was over. On to another slightly interesting thing . it was predictable on all aspects of the plot . I had it figured out right after killing her farther maid and the cook to the ghost. Sounds interesting ..ghost right? Nope . sexy times weren't sexy .angry man wasn't scary.sad brave girl wasn't... You get it. I was a little bored. At the 80% spot saw him running around trying to find her ....meeting more baddies..another story on way different characters oh wait at last part they had ...sex .......for first time. Not continuing this series.🤷
Zaira Ferelli has always been her father's captive, locked in their mansion not allowed to go anywhere. Then one day she's told to put on a wedding dress because she's getting married. Her father has promised her to Diego Volta, rumours are he's a vicious monster. He needs a mafia princess to give him an heir in order to gain full control of his mafia empire. But there are people working against him who would see him fail before he ever gets a chance to even marry Zaira. This is a great read and I highly recommend it.
The concept was good, but most of it either bored me or confused me. From the start it was all .. the war.. and half the time the timeline read like medieval, then they'd get a phone call lmao and I would realize again nope supposedly this is contemporary
Not really any character building, and we had to wait until the last two pages to actually consummate the marriage...
Disappointing.
Gave two stars because I kept dozing off and really considered just quitting several times.
The hero in the story was written like a child. He throws tantrums, is mean to the heroine because he can and I have to say, even some bad bully romance heroes might rate higher than Diego does. This wasn't a man. This was a boy.
And the heroine was like a sick, timid girl that I just couldn't stomach. Her growing fire also wasn't enough to remove the initial imagery of her character - weak.
Not your average Mafia story, certainly not one I can appreciate. Unfortunately.
This a mafia beauty who is lock underneath her mafia father thumb and the beast is the man her father give his daughter too. And the both was attract to one another, and the marriage of the two characters is push and pull, but slowly the find the need one another.
First ever read by this author and I clicked because I was feeling a mafia read. It hit the spot. I really liked how it flowed. I liked how the anti H was consistent max. The only part that wasn’t so on point was character development, but I liked it enough for a 4!
I enjoyed Diego & Zaira's book. This was an intense, entertaining read. I received a free copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
This story was okay.... But I had tough time liking the hero. Like the ending and interested to read about some new characters introduced towards the end.
This is a good book for a rainy afternoon. A real fantacy come true. For some reason I just couldn't get a clear read on some of the characters though.
Wow this was such a good book. It was fast paced and you couldn’t put it down. And it definitely had a twist there at the end everybody should read this book and they get their happily ever after
Zaira is being taken from one guilded cage to another, her father Bruno, Don of the Ferelli crime family has kept her hidden and caged all her life and now he is giving her to Diego Volta in a truce between the families, or so they thought until her wedding day ends in the blood shed of her father and house hold. When Zaira awakes shes in another cage one owned by the devil Diego. Diego just needs to marry a royal of the underworld and get a legitimate heir to take over his fathers empire that's where Zaira comes in only their wedding didnt go to plan and now he faces a war with the rest of the Ferelli clan. Now he is forced into hiding with his unwed virgin bride until a new truce can be made, but being cooped up in his old mansion day after day seems to be getting to not only his guards but Zaira too saying they have seen a ghost. But ghosts cant poison, and Diego is the only one who wants to break her but it's not just rage burning inside of him but desire, he wants to be the one she fears and the one she wants. With an intruder still on the loose and now hunkered down in the basement Diego realises how distracting Zaira has been to him turns from a glimmering hope to her dark prince once again, but will the connection that sparks between them be anything more than the contract he signed for a wife and heir? Or will ghosts of the past come to reclaim what's theirs? Well written with a great story plot, filled with action, violence, suspense, twists, desire, hot scenes and more!

This book was full of drama, revenge and betrayal! by sewsummore
I found this book an exciting read full of drama and fiery passion. Zaire was a mafia princess about to be married to Diego, a mafia Prince. Their union would cement his position as the Mafia Leader, something certain people were determined to prevent. The marriage did not take place that day; instead, it was an abduction and a sea of blood. Zaire and Diego had not met each other before that day, but she remained his captive and would become his wife as soon as a priest was found to perform the marriage. This book had me captivated from the beginning. Diego was a monster, feared for his temper but a man just the same. He vowed not to make Zaire until she was his wife and the delay allowed them to learn more about each other. Zaire had been a captive her entire life. She just exchanged one jailer for another, but she refused to back down to Diego's threats, and eventually, the growing desire between them forged an unbreakable bond. This book was full of drama, revenge, and betrayal, all of which made this a book I could not put down until the last page was read.

The arranged marriage in this story is to join two mafia families and neither of the betrothed have met one another. The wedding day gets interrupted and Diego and Zaira are confined to a safe house while war rages between the rival mafias.
Diego is primal, angry, brooding and of course he growls. Zaira is pale, innocent and has been locked up by her mean father all her life. Diego wants an heir for legal purposes but they weren’t legally married yet, He has to take care of business frequently as his attraction to Zaira grows.
Diego is your ultimate jealous protector. He’s the one that buys his girl a brief bikini, then when she wears it intimidates other men so they don’t look at her. Zaira is a quick study in the power she has over Diego and shamelessly uses it to get his attention.
As mafia romances go, it’s a little light on mafia stuff, but never neglects the intimate stuff. The ending really got my attention and I have to read it he book again to appreciate how it works.

ARC of Trapped With You received from Booksprout and author in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced in any way.
Mafia romance is becoming a genre I really love and this book was no exception.
Diego and Zaira are entering into a forced arranged marriage in order to clear Zaira’s father’s debt. Let’s just say that things do not go according to plan when at the hasty ceremony someone tries to kill Zaira. I LOVED THESE TWO CHARACTERS !! Diego has an immediate attraction to his intended bride but she answer right back to him with sass / snark and attitude - something he is clearly not used to !!
You will not see some of the plot twists coming , also your e-reader might just go up in flames with the sizzling chemistry between these two characters.
This is the first book for me by Sasha Leone and I will defiantly be checking out more of her work !!
Great read - highly recommend this book !!!

This was a good story and I enjoyed reading it. I liked the plot, although I felt it was drawn out a bit too long especially the first 40% when the MCs were in the country mansion (this part did seem to go on forever with very little happening) The main reason though for three stars was all down to the MMC, I'm sorry but I just didn't like him at all, the names he called Zaira in his head were just uncalled for, and he seemed overly obsessed by wanting to have sex with her, it wasn't a deep broody obsession, it came across needy and immature which didn't match his character as a Don in the Mafia. I also found Zaira confusing at times and weak! What saved the book for me was the plot and the last 30% was really good!!

Sasha Leone is a new to me author, but as soon as I read the blurb for TRAPPED WITH YOU I know I needed it on my kindle.
The story had so many of the things I love about dark romances: a captivating storyline, unexpected plot twists, a ruthless anti-hero, arranged marriage trope, and plenty of scorching passion!
The story is light on the mafia details and a bit slow going in the beginning, but once it gains momentum the story goes full force! Diego was the hero I loved to hate, but ultimately won me over. Overall, I enjoyed Trapped With You. 4 stars.
This wasn't a favorite of mine but it wasn't bad either. It just seemed really draggy at times and made me lose interest in it. I do love a long book instead of a rushed one but this one seemed to not really have anything playing out during most of the first half. Towards the end seemed to pick up pace though. I liked Zaira's character from the start but something about Diego rubbed me the wrong way but he did definitely redeem himself.
