Generally, this author's stories are narrated by the husband. Some alternate between the two, one chapter from the husband's perspective, the next from the wife's.
This particular story is one of a few that it's told from the wife's point of view, which isn't all that common for Karly Violet.
This gives the story a different tone where the cuckolding is less overt, making it much less disturbing and appealing to a wider audience than the small circle of hardcore cuckolding enthusiasts, even if the poor husband sexe is unbalanced with his wife's one.
The result is a story where the sensuality between husband and wife will turn the reader.
It is written with good thrill and well researched social contexts.
I generally enjoy Karly Violet's short stories. I own all her books and have read many of them; the others are on my reading list. In my opinion, she has a good grasp of the theme of Hotwife-Swinger lifestyle.
