Black Mountain #1

She's Mine: Black Mountain Academy

Rate this book
Black Mountain Academy’s bad boy. That’s who Reese Trenton was, or at least how people perceived him. He came from the “wrong side of the tracks” with a perpetual scowl on his face, a body like a god, and the arrogance to match.

He was a rough around the edges kind of delinquent, but smart enough he’d gotten a full ride to BMA.

And he piqued Keira’s interest in the worst—or maybe best—kind of way. He had her wanting to throw that good girl persona she carried right out the window.
He had her wanting to be just as rebellious as he was.

He knew too much about life, got drunk, and started far too many fights. And Keira wanted him like she’d never wanted anyone before.
They say opposites attract, and it seemed that was the pulling force that brought Reese and Keira together.

Heated touches.
Passionate kisses.
Filthy, secret intimacy.
They shared it all together and grew addicted for more.

He thought he was broken, too battered for a girl like her. Keira wanted to show Reese that despite the cracks he wore, the scars he sported, they were meant to be together.

But not everyone thought Reese and Keira should be together, and as the drama and chaos erupted, as people tried to rip them apart, they realized their loyalty and love for each other had never been put to the test more than it had now.

Reader note: This story was previously published as Giving it to the Bad Boy. It has been completely rewritten, re-edited, and new content added throughout the entire story. Basically… it’s a brand new book set in the elite world of the BMA series.

Black Mountain Academy. From the outside, it may look perfect and ideal—school uniforms, exemplary teachers, privileged students.

But anyone on the inside could tell you about the debauchery, the scandals, the drama, the forbidden--taboo--romances.

Because where Black Mountain Academy is concerned... never judge a book by its cover.

More like a 2.5.
Got bored.
Plus there was negative connotations that made me raise my brows and I just couldn’t forget about it.
Also own the fact that you’re rich. The poor little rich girl is judging other rich was so ugh.
I just couldn’t connect to either characters and that made me a tad sad so I started losing interest.

3.5 ⭐

We are in BMA series and this one is light with some high school drama and little steam.

Reese is a bad boy in the school the poor kid who every rich girl wants to score with but he pays them no time, and hes been spying Keira watching him as he watches her, they finally get to talking when he saves her from a drunk guy at the party. Thats when rumors all over school happen and that's what brings these two closer together.  There was alot of fights alot of mean girl stuff and no bully between Reese and Keira. Mostly people trying to start a fight with them we do get some hints of other author stories.

No om drama and Slight ow drama (mean girls),no cheating, slight secondary character, Drama, sexy times, virgin gal no manwhore

This one is a little hard for me to review. I used to read a lot of Jenika Snow's short over the top alpha books as breaks from angsty, serious reads. And I love them. So, when I saw this one pop up I was excited. I didn't really know what to expect since this was my first peek into Black Mountain Academy.

I kind of got exactly what I wanted from this but it was a little bit less than I was hoping for. However, I'm pretty sure that is just from my expectations and not from the actual story. I kind of forgot that these were high school students. And i just wanted Reese to go all caveman alpha.

Reese did kind of do the alpha growling, mine thing that I love from Jenika it just wasn't completely over the top and that’s what I was craving when I picked this book up. Other than that, it had everything I would expect from a new adult, high school romance.

Keira was the typical sweet and understanding virgin, good girl. But I still liked her and enjoyed getting to know her. I am going to have to grab a few of the other books in this series after the little teasers I got in here and hopefully I'll get a few more new authors to explore.

I used to read a fair bit of this authors books years ago so thought I would dip my toes back in. It was ok, didn't really grasp my attention. Very YA. Insta-connection is the way this read goes.

*I received this copy in exchange for an honest opinion*

This is a no brainer review. Really!
In a simple way and without dramas, Jenika manages to bring us a Young Adult story, full of situations that we can still see in our schools today. Students with money who think they are better than those who were not so lucky when they were born. Abusive parents who do not know the harm they do to their children when they destroy their own lives. Children who have to deal with rot in their own home and fight against it and what it shows the outside world.
Reese, our male character, is one of those kids who were unlucky in the family where they were born. Being extremely smart, he gets a scholarship at the best school in the area. However, this means that you have to deal with everything that is addressed to you by the rich kids that go to that school. Reese is strong enough to be able to overcome all the mean phrases addressed to him. However, he still feels inadequate and "dirty" for anyone or anything. This is where sweet and simple Keira comes in.
A rich girl who doesn't care about the rich kids and everything that wealth brings. He falls in love with Reese as soon as he sees him, but he knows, or thinks, that he is too much for her and that she is too simple and flat for him.
Gradually Reese managed to overcome his fears and inferiority complexes that he won because of his father who does nothing but drink and berber even more. Keira is declared and it is this love that he feels for her and she for him that will save him and make him hope for the future. It is certain that they will have to overcome many obstacles, especially social ones, but it will not be this that will make Keira stop believing in him and in everything he is, even though he is a poor kid and comes from a somewhat rough family. Keira will be the one who will make you focus on your goals to be a better person and completely inserted in a society that, unfortunately, is still prejudiced and malicious.
I loved it! A novel that fills our hearts and makes us read and read until it's over!

It had a great start, but then I got a bit bored.
I did not really connect to the story or the couple as much as I would have liked.

I feel things were forced in some places just to make the story interesting.

I usually dislike reading books that are in the third person, but this one was intriguing once I finally got into it. It has an Insta love aspect that I usually don't enjoy either, but it just worked in this book!

I really enjoyed how Reese is this tough you from the wrong side of the tracks, but he's so sensitive and nice. He never belittled Kiera, which is amazing in itself, and was HONEST with his feelings. Talk about being a unicorn!! I loved his relationship with Keira and thought they fit will together. There is some high school drama, but it wasn't over the top by any means.

And those sexy scenes were downright HOTTTTT.🔥🔥🔥🔥 for being all sweet, these two can get dirty!!!

All in all this was a very enjoyable read and a great addition to the Black Mountain Academy series!

Young Adult/New Adult, High School, Contemporary Romance

Third Person, Dual-POV

This is a standalone book that is part of the Black Mountain Academy series. "A multi-author series of standalone books filled with drama, angst, love, lust, and everything in-between. Light or dark, twisted or sweet, the Black Mountain Academy has something for every reader."

Black Mountain Academy.

From the outside, it may look perfect and ideal—school uniforms, exemplary teachers, privileged students.

But anyone on the inside could tell you about the debauchery, the scandals, the drama, the forbidden–taboo–romances.

Because where Black Mountain Academy is concerned…  never judge a book by its cover.

Contains issues and situations some may find triggering.

Great read!!! Adorable characters, good plot, cute romance and some hot smut.

It was refreshing to see a high school alpha hero that respected the heroine from the beginning and wasn't a jerk.

Both Keira and Reese were very easy to love and made this a very enjoyable read.

NEW LOVE!!!

30/35 STARS –  4 STARS (between 28 stars and 31 stars)

Addictiveness: 5 Character: 5 Cover: 4.5 Freshness: 3.5 Plot: 4 Romance: 4 Writing Style: 4

Action 3/5 Angst 2/5 Darkness 0/5 Humor 0/5 Romance 5/5 Suspense/Mystery 0/5

Would I recommend? Yes, for all readers of high school romance.

Would I re-read this book/series? Yes!

Would I read more from the author? Definitely!!!

Addictiveness: 5/5 The main characters were so easy to love and connect that from the beginning I became invested in their happiness. This was a fast, cute, easy read. As addictive as chocolate!!!

Character: hero 5/5, heroine 5/5, secondary characters 5/5, growth 5/5, real 5/5 Multifaceted characters with good background stories and great personal growth.

Keira was a great heroine. She was very sweet and lovable. Even though she was part of the rich crowd, she really didn't care about that. She was very down-to-earth, a good daughter, a good friend and a great girlfriend.

Reese was a wonderful hero. He had a rough childhood, but he thrived and became a great young guy. He was so mature and real. He was a bit too possessive, but he was a great book boyfriend and had a humongous personal growth in the book.

Secondary characters I love their best friends and would love to read their books.

Villain/antagonists one clear villain and a few antagonists.

They were easy to love, to connect and understand!!!

Cover: art 4.5/5, title 5/5, color-font 5/5, subtitle 0/5, background 5/5 buy 4.5/5  I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. I always try to be true to myself, I buy so many books because of the cover and I have skipped many because of not very appealing art. Covers are part of the experience for me and I do like to understand them. This was another great cover for the series. Even though I missed a subtitle that offered a hint of the story, I loved the art. The background is great and very pertinent to the story and the guy is hot, but sweet at the same time I guess he also should have a few tattoos and piercings. I would easily buy this book by its cover without needing to read the blurb!

Plot: believable 5/5, conflict 4/5, dialogue 5/5, ending 5/5, enjoyment 5/5, opening 5/5, pace 3.5/5, setting 5/5, subplots 4/5, twists 3/5  Amazing opening with an incredible ending. Good plot, with well written dialogues and ok pace. Great setting, a few subplots with not many twists.. Good level of enjoyment!

A strong plot concept that was well developed by the author. It needed a bigger conflict and a few turns and twists.

Romance: believable 5/5, chemistry 4/5, description 5/5, development 3.5/5, steam 3.5/5  It was a cute, slow burn romance. It was clear they were both attracted to each other, and at the same time didn't believe they were meant to be together. But from the moment the started, they build an adorable relationship and I could feel their love. Youthful romance!!!

Writing Style: 4/5 Strong plot, fantastic characters, adorable romance, a few good smut in a cohesive and clean writing style. Great writing!!!

Because I try to be very analytical and I don't really believe in perfection...

Freshness: 3.5/5 It had nothing that was super original, but it was a good plot concept. It had all the usual clichés of a high school romance, but they were all very well written that it didn't bother me at all. I missed a few twists and turns that could surprise or shock me. As fresh as mint mentos at a movie theater.

I missed the first person point-of-view. I don't know, the third person always feels more impersonal and I missed the feeling of being inside characters heads.

You MAY read this because you like the author; you SHOULD read this because you are following the series; you MUST read this because both main characters were WONDERFUL!!!

This is a high school romance between the resident bad boy and the shy virgin. Previously published as Giving it to the Bad Boy in 2013. While this newer version has been revamped by the author, even changing the title and it has more pages, but not really more content. I prefer the original. Don’t get me wrong it’s still okay, but I prefer the first one even the cover is better. Plus the third person narration doesn’t help this.
I’m guessing as this is now Black Mountain Academy 1, and is no longer the Tattooed and Pierced series which is odd. The Black Mountain Academy is a whole series of books by different authors.
I’m very sorry to be a bit negative, it’s just that Giving it to the Bad Boy is one of my all time favourites from this author, and if she was going to contribute to this series I don’t quite get why she didn’t write a new story, instead of messing with this one.

“...I want everyone to know you’re mine.”
Her breathing hitched at his words.
“And you are mine, Keira, yeah?” He looked—sounded—so serious.
There was no hesitation, no thinking on her part, when she whispered, “I’m yours.”

My gosh, I am a sucker for the bad boys. My obsession for them as a teenager started on Wattpad, and it still hasn't changed

Reese and Kiera come from 2 completely opposite worlds.
Reese is poor, with 2 drunk parents, used to being beaten by his father, he soon learns to fight and gains a reputation as a bad boy at school, which he manages to attend thanks to a scholarship, bc despite everything he is a great student.
Kiera comes from a wealthy family, somewhat snobbish, and has lived sheltered all her life.
Both have noticed each other but had never dared to do anything, until one night at a party, Kiera is molested by a drunken boy and Reese comes to save her. From there their love story begins, a relationship that not everyone is happy with and that they will try to break up with, but the love and devotion they feel for each other makes their relationship one for life.
Super sweet and romantic story. ❤️to see Nate Black again.

“You’re too good for me.” His words were like icy water poured over her head. “Too good for you?” Her voice sounded monotone. He actually thought that? “Why would you even think that? Because of our families? The money aspect?” She shook her head, not even wanting an actual response from him, because she knew that was exactly what he meant. “I’m not my family's money. I’m not my family's legacy. Black Mountain doesn't define me. I hate the majority of the snobs who go to that damn school.” She took a deep breath. She hated that for one moment he thought he was less than her simply because of social standings. “So, in short, no, I’m not better than you.”

“Maybe I want you to see how fucked up I am… how you could do so much better than me. But you accept me for who I am, what I am, and what I don’t have.” His eyes searched her face, as if she held the answers. “And I have no clue what you fucking see in me, but I won’t let you go.” His words seemed so… final.

“You feel that?” he groaned against the side of her mouth, and she moaned. “You were made for me and me for you. I can feel it in the way you grip me, in the soft sounds that leave these perfect lips.” He kissed her as if to emphasize his point. “Don’t hold back, Keira.” His voice was serrated, deeper than she’d ever heard it before.

“You’re giving up on us?” he asked again, his voice stronger, his expression hard as anger started morphing his features. “No, that’s not what I’m doing. I’m just trying to be realistic.” His chest rose and fell harshly. “I care about you, I...” He stopped before he finished, closed his eyes, and she watched him take a deep breath in. He opened his eyes and she saw… nothing. No emotion. “I don’t want to hurt you or stop you from thinking things through. I’m a patient guy. I have all the fucking time in the world when it comes to you.” He cleared his throat. “The truth is, I don’t deserve you. I never did. But I was a lucky bastard that you became mine. This is just the way I figured—feared—things would go. I knew you’d realize I was trash. I was just waiting for that other shoe to drop.”“Reese—” Before she could get any other words out, she found herself in his arms, his lips on hers. This kiss felt like… closure. Then he was gone, moving away from her, getting in his truck, and leaving. Her knees threatened to buckle as she watched him drive off.

“You should hear some of the shit those assholes say about you. They see you. They notice you. They fucking want you.” He looked pissed again, and she couldn’t help but smile. She didn’t know if she believed him, but it didn’t matter. She wanted to reassure Reese that he was the only one she wanted. “They don’t matter.” “No?” he asked and lifted a brow, his eyes on her lips. “And why’s that?” “Because I’m yours,” she whispered, maybe too low for him to hear, but when he growled in approval, she felt her legs clench on their own. “Only mine,” he murmured and leaned down to kiss her again and again and again. Yes… yes, she was.

The words use and overall review shouldn’t reflect personally on the author or any other of her series and books.

3.8 stars
Great characters and Entertaining!

I love opposite attract books!

We get the guy from the wrong side of town, but not your typical Douchebag. She was very virginal and quite but she didn’t care about being or not the popular girl. She prefer her loneliness.
This two couldn’t be more different but I love their chemistry together.
I love both characters, I wanted to Hug him and tell him everything will be okay. I wanted to be her cheerleader. The sex scenes were fire! And is a HEA.

My 4 stars is based on I like the uniqueness that he wasn’t a big ass to her but also in not a 5 stars because I don’t like third person writing style.

She's Mine is the second book in this multi-author series Black Mountain Academy. Once again readers are introduced to the world of Black Mountain Academy and this author did a great job with writing a story about two students from completely different worlds.I really loved the chemistry between these two characters and the way that they got together. This story was packed full of emotion that really made me love this story.

Keira was the sweet and shy heroine of the story that really didn't like to be noticed by others. I really enjoyed the way that she didnt care what others thought of her and how she stood up for herself.

Reese I really felt for with the way he was treated by his family and the people that attend Black Mountain Academy. I loved how Reese loved Keira and how he was with her.

This was the first book I read of this author and I really enjoyed their writing style. I quickly became a fan of theirs and cannot wait to read more of their stories. This book was a great addition to this series and I can't wait to read more about the lives of the students Black Mountain academy.

Engaging NA romance.
This is a bad boy/shy girl story that's well-written and engaging. I sympathised with both Reese and Keira, misunderstood in their own ways, and I enjoyed seeing them come together. There was plenty of heat and angst in the build up.
However, I had a real issue with what felt like a forced and artificial separation after Keira misinterprets something in Reese's past. It's a weak plot contrivance at the best of times and here it seemed like something done just to create tension through the last third of the story. It betrays the characters' relationship, which was built on trust, and make me feel that Keira didn't really deserve Reese's devotion. A little bit of a sour ending in what was otherwise an enjoyable story.
Recommended.

She's Mine is the second book of the Black Mountain Academy and Jenika Snow came out swinging. It has been a while since I have read her, and I have to say it was a wonderful surprise to read this story. The connection between Reece and Keira is perfection. These two hit it off right away and that makes you want to know how they will end up at the end of this book.

Reece and Keira are teenagers so they will go through the normal things kids go through but in the end, they just might the love they are looking for.
This is a wonderful story that should be read.

Jenika Snow has totally rewritten this story to fit in with the Black Mountain Academy series and she knocked it out of the park. There was so much more added and the characters were given a lot more depth. Reese and Keira and perfect together but it doesn't come without drama. Will they be able to stay together even though there are others who are trying to force them apart? Wonderful story and I love Reese and Keira!!!!

Previously printed and published as Getting the Bad Boy, Jenika Snow completely rewrote the story to be set in the world of the Black Mountain Academy with whole new characters and a brand new setting. So those who have read her previous book, there will be similarities but also a bunch of differences. In She's Mine, we have our story of falling for the bad boy - the one from the "wrong side of the tracks" or in the case of Black Mountain Academy which is a school for the rich and wealthy, it's a case of falling for the "scholarship kid". Keira has always been a quiet one and plodding along, keeping invisible as she has always felt like she has never fitted into the world of money as to her it is a world of materialism. When she goes to a party with her best friend Molly, as it isn't Keira's usual scene she escapes to get fresh air and is assaulted by one of the locals Josh. Bad Boy Reese hears her screams and ends up knocking out Josh and saving Keira. Sparks fly between this pair and we watch as Keira brings out the best in Reese and he brings out her extrovert side. What happens though when someone wants to sabotage their happiness as if she can't have Reese then no-one can, especially not some plain jane Keira? Will Keira believe the evidence without an explanation and have her heartbroken or will Reese come up with a way to prove to Keira that he loves her and doesn't want anyone else? Find out in She's Mine by Jenika Snow - her contribution to the Black Mountain Academy series.

"I want to taste you Kiera. Will you let me?"

4 She's Mine Stars! Sweet and dirty, just the way I like it!

Reese is a boy from the wrong side of the tracks, and is rough around the edges. Due to him intelligence, he gets a scholarship to one of the best schools in town. But sadly for him he just doesn't fit in. Kiera is a rich girl, who doesn't care about her money. She's a reserved, nerdy girl and the complete opposite of Reese. These two meet at a party and strike up a friendship that eventually leads to a romance. But with high school you never know what direction that's going to go with rumors swirling and lies being told in order to break them up....

This book was a quick read and super fast paced. I loved the development of Reese and Keira's relationship! I know what I'm getting with Jenika's books and this one did not disappoint! I love a great high school romance and this one hit all the spots!

Everyone says that they are no good for one another, that they are too different to be together, but they both disagree. They could care less what everyone else thinks of them. Keira comes from money, is shy, nerdy, and a bit reserved. Then there is Reese the bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks, who is rough around the edges and a little rowdy. They meet at a party, strike up a friendship that quickly grows into something more, but not everyone around them is happy to see them growing so close.

Rumors begin to get spread, lies are told, they begin to be pulled in different directions. But all the while they fight to hold onto one another. Will their love be strong enough to withstand all the drama? Or will they let it tear them apart?

She's Mine is a slow burn opposites attract young adult romance that is destined to stir-up some feels and torture you with it's angst filled story line. This drama filled page-turner pulled me in from the first page and just wouldn't let go. I wound up devouring it in one sitting, I just couldn't pry my eyes away from the words. I really loved this pairing, while they may have been different on paper, they quickly proved that they were made for one another. Reese has always had hang-ups about the rich kids he attends school with, and his lacking family. But Keira showed him that none of that matters, material things have no bearing on who you are or can become. While Keira has always let her shyness keep her from being social and making friends. But with a little coaxing from Reese he helped her find her voice, and come out of her shell a bit too. I loved watching these two push each other out of their comfort zones, find the peace they craved, and of course their happily ever after too. Their wonderfully penned story was impressive on all fronts, I felt the emotion and passion behind every word. Highly recommend!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

Reese Trenton, Black Mountain Academy’s bad boy. He came from the “wrong side of the tracks” with a perpetual scowl on his face, a body like a god, and the arrogance to match.
Keira has always been the quiet introverted wallflower girl in the school. Her brother was the popular quarterback when he was in BMA.

At a party one night, Keira has told a fellow drunken classmate several times to leave her alone, however, he doesn't listen. He is getting rough with Keira and Reese is there to stop him and throw him off the porch out of the reach of Keira. Reese has always watched Keira, he's always liked her, but just has never talked with her.

Keira has never really talked with Reese and now she is grateful that he is there to help her. Keira and Reese start dating which has everyone on campus buzzing about their opposites attract with one another.  Reese has never pictured a life other than what his drunken parents have ever provided for him. But, being with Keira has made him want to be a better person for himself and for her.

I did receive a free ARC copy of this book. I am freely leaving an honest review.

Jenika Snow knows how to write piping hot books but also with great story lines and 'She's Mine' has a terrific one!

Reese and Keira have two completely different family lives - she rich he from the wrong side of the tracks with a dad who has fist issues. But both wanting the same thing to be 'invisible' to those around them but for some reason drawn to each other like a moths to flame more alike than each other realise!

The only reason that Reese is at Black Mountain Academy is because he is bright and is on a full scholarship - the girls love him - well he is from the wrong side of the tracks and the rich girls love a bad boy! Keira remains invisible or she does until she catches the eye of Reese and then the all of a sudden she is in caught in the headlights of the not so nice cheerleaders well one in particularly who isn't happy that her would be plaything likes someone else.

As Keria and Reese start to spend time together they realise they like the same things and kindred spirits but Reese isn't sure he really has anything to offer but Keria isn't giving up on Reese she him for who he really is and she wont give him up without fight!

Keira was drawn to him…Black Mountain Academy’s bad boy. Reece Trenton came from the “wrong side of the tracks” but was smart enough to get a full ride to BMA. Keira didn’t know what it was that called to her, but it made her want to be a rebel.

Reece was obsessed with BMA’s good girl, Keira. Though he knew that he would never be good enough for her, he couldn’t stay away. After stepping in to save Keira during a party, he knows that he cannot let her go. No matter how much Reece knows that he should.

If you like hot alphas who are over the top, Reece will blow you away! Every thought and action he makes shifts to ensure only the best for Keira and this is shiver inducing. Jenika Snow does a great job with this story and weaving in the other characters that you can find throughout the Black Mountain Academy. Make sure that you check them out!

Holy crumbs on a cracker. What a thrilling ride!! I absolutely fell head-over-heels in love with Reese and Keira. Bad-boy meets good-girl. Wrong side of the tracks vs. privilege and money.

Being the poor guy who was selected to go to the most prestigious school in the County was a curse in itself. Tattoos adorning his body, Reese was labeled as trash. Keira being so reserved, and a Virgin was labeled as a nobody. However, when their sights clash, there was no going back. Each knew there was something special about the other. The problem is...where would this lead? Will society allow them to be together? Can they find a way to make it work? The heart knows no bounds. Love is love and we all fall at one time or another.

This is my first book by Jenika Snow, although it won’t be my last. I plan on reading the rest of the series and I am positive that I will read them in one sitting, as I did with She’s Mine.

Reese is the boy from the poor side of town with parents who are alcoholics. He received a scholarship to attend the prestigious school Black Mountain Academy. Kiera comes from a very rich family but doesn't act like it. She is also quiet and would rather melt into the walls at school to be not seen. Reese and Kiera catch each others eye while attending a party where alcohol, smoking, and other things are going on. When Kiera is hit upon aggressively by a drunk guy, Reese comes to her rescue. So begins their relationship of learning of love and to trust even though there are other people trying to pull them apart. Jenika Snow was able to capture the gut wrenching sorrow of a hiccup in Kiera and Reese's relationship. Will this hiccup be able to be repaired? I loved this young love story and the growth that Kiera and Reese had as individual people and as a couple. This is an excellent read!❤

Wow, Jenika Snow does it again! I absolutely adore her high school/new adult stories! They are simply the best. Reece is a loner at Black Mountain Academy, the scholarship kid with only one friend. He keeps to himself, planning on getting out of this town and escape the stigma of his alcoholic, abusive father. Keira has been fascinated with Reece for a while, can't help but look at him and have a few wicked thoughts. But she is quiet and shy, no match for the catty, decked out girls at Black Mountain. There is no way he would ever be interested in her. Reece doesn't want to get wrapped up in a girl but he likes the way Keira looks at him. He can't help but want to get to know her better. This book was all high school crush butterflies with just a touch of Sixteen Candles. I can honestly say this is one book that will be on my permanent re-read list. Reece and Keira are just perfect together and I stayed glued to my ereader from start to finish. Ten stars for She's Mine!

My first read of Jenika Snow and I love it!!!

~Reese & Keira~
Reese is the town's bad boy, the town's reject with his drunk parents.
He got a full scholarship to attend the Black Mountain Academy due to his high intelligence.
Keira is the school's good girl, she never went to a party or anything.
Yet, this bad boy and good girl attracted to each other.
They are very different in every way yet they understand each other.

Both Reese and Keira can't stop their feelings from growing.
When they choose to f*ck what people think and become official, they burn the pages. Their chemistry is off-the-charts!

However, their issues come out and it takes a while for both of them to realize that what they have is strong enough. And that they shouldn't have let other people influence them.

Thoroughly enjoy reading this story! Can't wait for more from Black Mountain Academy!

Kiera comes from a rich family, but she still tries to stay invisible at school. Reese is a kid from the wrong side of the tracks who is very smart so he got a scholarship to Black Mountain Academy.  All of the girls in the school are after him, but he notices Kiera, the good girl who doesn't want to be noticed.  Of course since this is a High School story, there are some kids not happy about Reese noticing Kiera instead of them so things get a bit dicey.  She's Mine was a story that I enjoyed, but I would have enjoyed it so much better if it wasn't written in third person.  It honestly takes away the whole imprinting on the MCs for me, but that's the only thing I didn't like.  These two are sweet with heat with a kicker of angst, and now I want to read the rest of this series.  HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

She’s Mine by Jenika Snow is part of the Black Mountain Academy series. This book was rewritten recently. I didn’t read the original (Giving it to the Bad Boy) but this book has been re-edited with more content added.

Keira and Reese are just wrong for each other – that’s what everyone says. If that’s true, why don’t they agree? Because there is something between them. Neither one can give the other up. Reese has had it rough – super smart, but not rich like his classmates, abusive father. None of that matters to Keira. She is quiet and shy, totally different from Reese. And none of that matters to him either.

I liked the emotion between Keira and Reese – there truly is nothing like your first love. These two are red hot together. I’m glad Keira and Reese found their happily ever after.
