Asa’s life had never lacked adventure. Hopping from one exotic locale to another was a part of her job as a treasure hunter. She thought she’d seen everything until she was kidnapped for the third time…no wait, maybe fourth? Just like the times before, she’d hear out her kidnappers, decide whether she’d take the job and be on her way. Except…this time it wasn’t a job waiting for her, but the man she’d been dreaming about for a year.
Xavier was head of a military force that kept demi-gods from overrunning the human population. He handled his job and any trouble facing his family with ruthless precision. During the day, he kept his head down, preventing a war that could destroy the world from breaking out. At night…at night, she was in his dreams, calling to him, tempting him.
But now, the woman of his dreams has walked straight into his worst nightmare. How could Xavier stop a war he feared would end the world without sacrificing the woman he loved?
Dria Andersen is a full-time photographer, mother of two, and lifelong storyteller. After the birth of her first child, she made a promise to pursue her dreams boldly-starting with writing the kinds of stories she always wanted to see in the world. That leap of faith became her debut novel, and she's been writing ever since.
Dria crafts love stories that center brown girls with heart, strength, and agency. Blending romance with elements of fantasy and wonder, her books invite readers into richly imagined worlds where anything is possible and everyone deserves a happy ending.
Such a good wrap up to this group!!!! I love the way everything came together.
From book one, I couldn’t wait for Xavier to get his book because I just knew it was gonna be good and it was. The bond between him and his mate, the way they got to know each other was the sweetest thing 😍🥰😘 Asa was a bright spot in this book. She definitely was the right choice for Xavier
Asa is well versed in ancient artifacts, national treasures, and believing the unbelievable. She's a hunter so she's seen some things. But finding out that demi-gods and shapeshifters are real and your mother kept her history from you, well that can be a bit much. Did I mention that her father is a hell god and she has powers she doesn't even know about? And to be honest, that's not even the tip of the iceberg. But I won't ruin the fun by telling you everything. Let's just say that Asa has many reasons to be stressed and untrusting.
Xavier is the head of the Amanda, the military force that keeps the balance between demi-gods and humans. He's also the man Asa has been dreaming about for over a year. For months, these two have met in their dreams; sharing stories and providing comfort. Neither have them ever imagined the other really existed. However, their lives collide when Asa's mother dies and the true identity of her father is revealed. Now, Xavier is up to his neck in problems but the most important is preventing a dangerous war that would affect demi-gods and humans alike. Asa is one of the most important pieces for stopping this war. So while feelings need to be explored and questions need to be answered, they don't really have the luxury.
HellBound provided a nice balance; giving us just enough drama to go along with the romance. I liked the twist of Asa and Xavier meeting before in their dreams so when they met in person for the first time, the bond was already there. It didn't really feel like insta-love because they had really known each other for quite some time before then - they just didn't know it was real at the time. The history and context provided for this world is the selling point. The author does a great job weaving in the paranormal aspects - of breaking down the world, the importance of those in it, and the longterm ramifications. There are a lot of moving parts but I thought it was easy to follow. Once we learn the history and the action gets going, it moves at a great pace and kept me entertained. This was a nice end to the series, integrating the two couples from the previous books and secondary characters easily.
As a fan of paranormal romance, Dria Andersen's work is one I've come to like quite a bit. The worlds she builds, the backstory, and the characters keep me entertained. I'm making my way through her catalog now and will definitely be reading more of her work.
HellBound is the last in the Haven series featuring the Tegan brothers. While this can be read as a standalone given the backstory provided, I highly encourage reading the series in order.

Overall review: I loved every book in this series! Book 1 - Leo and Lily - their story started us off with a bang. Both coming from wealthy families, both families having deep secrets, both of them having trauma due to their families, and both of them navigating the emotional turmoil as a result of it all. Not to mention the over arching story of a big bad evil wants out of its prison and 3 living souls stand in its way of being released. Wonderful read! Book 2 - Fallon and Brianna - This book took us on a ride. Fallon is the brother of Leo and is the family fixer and mediator. He gives so much energy into mitigating the families dramas that he doesn’t take care of himself. He also runs from commitments. But he could only deny the pull to Brianna for so long. Brianna has lost her memory after being kidnapped. She doesn’t know that she has a connection with Fallon already. She’s a prickly, curious, intelligent, blunt, and suspicious woman who doesn’t trust anyone or anything she can’t verify, fact check or read about in a book. She is a nurturer tho and here caring nature compliments Fallons. The evil big bad is still trying to get free and his followers are getting even bolder, persistent and actively pursuing the 3 souls. Amazing read! Book 3 - Xavier and Asa - these two were a dream come true - literally. Xavier is the man of her dreams, but in real life he is the leader of the Amanda which is the Earth reals supernatural police. He is always busy, always stressed, and always working. Which makes him such a joy to be around - not. He is the boss so he’s always giving orders and expected them to be obeyed. He barely has a moments peace because he has a very demanding job protecting the peace between the worlds. He is the brother of Leo and Fallon. Asa is his dream girl. In real life she is a treasure hunter, with some serious family revelations. She very practical, thinks about things and weighs her options, and she is relatively calm. She is the final soul of the 3 and she has the hardest task of them all but she comes with some power and serious backup. This final book was amazing and what a way to close out an epic series! Exceptional writing, storyline and characters. Exceptional read!!!!!
I continue to be a fan of Ms. Andersen’s work. Her books are well-developed and engaging. This book is the third in a three-book series. Each book is centered around one brother finding his mate, but the main conflict continues throughout the entire series.
This book is about the eldest brother, Xavier. Even though we are introduced to Xavier in book one, and we learned more about him, his family, and their relationships in book 2, there was a secret he was keeping. We also continue to see the growth and change in the rest of the Tegan family. The main conflict reaches its climax and finale with this book. I also appreciate that although this series is about brothers, and contains a through plot, Ms. Andersen made each relationship different and unique. Neither the brothers nor their mates were copies. Very well done!
First thing first. This book definitely has made an incredible impression on my reading library. The chemistry of the characters and their storyline made for a true enjoyment. I can’t say it enough just how much I truly enjoyed reading this book SOO much that I have sought out to read Haven Book 1. I have very few PNR’s in my library, so I’m honored to say that I am absolutely glad to add this author to that very select group. This the first time I have ever read anything from this author, I’m definitely looking forward to seeing even more.

This book series is the making of an absolutely fabulous movie. Wow, Dria put so much love and detail in this book. You must read book 1 of this 3 book series to get the right experience. But know that you will fall in love with these Demi gods and their mates. Asa and Xavier have been my favorite couple. Asa not knowing who she was in this new world of gods and Demi gods just puts you on the edge of your seat as she learns. Great book Dria Andersen. I’ll definitely be looking for more of your books
Gods, demigods, shifters and intrigue abound! To me, this book has a bit of a slow start, but at about 20% into the book, I finally felt like I was getting into the book. Granted, I hadn’t read the previous two books, but I felt like some of the explanation I needed was missing. A solid read, once you stick with it.
My goodness! The buildup of this battle had my nerves teetering on the edge! Such a great ending to this series, but also the realization that the Destiny & Have series were ultimately interconnected. I was giddy with excitement with Ajani & the Aje showed up! Xavier has me in tears! Their love story was so beautiful! Such a good series!
I’m soooo sad this series has ended. Ugh I loved it so much from beginning to end. And good Lord I loved the action, my adrenaline was pumping hunny. Anyway Dria never dissapoints.
Asia and Xavier are great together with undeniable chemistry throughout the pages. The characters are engaging and the storyline was interesting and engaged my attention from beginning to the end.

Wow to have a dream relationship with your mate is crazy but at least that dating phase is bypassed. Great ending to this series even though it is messed up how Azara used the situation and Asa to unattached himself but hopefully the drama is over
I quite liked this story! The MMC and FMC were made for each other and met in an unconventional way but it worked for them! Read this story for the love, the action, family, and fun!
I tried to slow down and only read a little bit each day to savor it. This entire series was good. Definitely worth the time. Kudos to Ms. Andersen on a job well done!
