Wade "Whiskey" English served more than fifteen years as an elite Marine sniper and now serves with his brothers in the Steel Patriots. He carries a heavy burden of the deaths of twelve innocent little girls and seeing the vision in front him, he feels like he should make-up at least for some of it. He has no clue what he's stepping into. Drugs, weapons, trafficking, bondage and more. The sick twisted playground of two men who need to be removed from this planet. He will take Kat and make her his...but will he keep her?
Katarina Krevnyv knew the life she was forced to live in wasn't the one she was meant for. When she met the big burly biker she'd immediately thought he was just a possessive alpha male like all the other men in her life. He was sexy, big, muscular, and made her insides light up like a Christmas tree. She pushed him away and then realized that he might be her only hope for a life...a life she wanted to share with him. Finding a way to be out of the grasp of her uncle and the sadistic man he was working with would be another matter. She could only hope that Whiskey was the man to do it...and in the process quench her thirst.

Thank you for reading my bio and my books! I live and work in Dallas, TX. I'm the mother of two amazing daughters and two fantastic, intelligent grandsons, with one more on the way, and a wonderful son-in-law. I love to cook, travel, and write, but I'm also an avid reader. Being from a military family, my books often center around strong, military men but I also LOVE strong, independent, intelligent women. Visit my webpage at insatiableink.squarespace.com and leave your comments or ideas for future books. Enjoy!
I started this series and I've have mostly enjoyed it. I don't normally put reviews when I hit the end of the book and I'm like "yea ok that book is done" I don't really have anything good or bad to say about them. Ghost was good it wasn't real predictable and wow to go through the mental and physical crap that woman did and being able to move on in such a short time with Ghost I'm sure there are a lot of women who would love some of that magic. But as I said I mostly enjoyed Ghost and Grace's and then Doc and Bree's. Moving on to Whiskey, I felt that perhaps the writer got tired and got lazy because "I've loved you since the museum." This was said by Kat to Whiskey shortly after she comes limping in after making her big escape. There is a word called transference, it happens to police officers, fire fighters, doctors, nurses and yes phychologist. Often times when someone saves someone else that person will transfer feelings that are not appropriate and normally fade in a couple days. Bree was right there, she had a Responsibility to watch out for mental state. The fact that this grown man had sex with this vulnerable woman (no matter what she said) that first night. Come on! Lazy writing. And do we think that maybe just maybe Kat could also be carrying around some daddy issues? And then what is Whiskey calling her through this book?? Babygirl. I honestly was waiting to see if Mary was going to take we the readers on a BDSM journey and have baby girl call Ghost daddy. He went from no no no, never going happen. She is way to young. She stomps her foot and throws a tantrum and then he's like well....hmmm. She says I'm a virgin and he's like well fwording yay!! I'm going get prize. Lazy. I'm a little scared to read the next one because apparently Zulu has had a relationship with this and doesn't remember but I bet before we are out of chapter 2 they will have said I love you and had sex. But Mary, I hope this doesn't make you feel bad because mostly I'm hoping that this might be a wake up call. Mary, you are not the only writer who writes this way. More often then not writers are following these steps. Also I don't know who are proofreading but they need to better spell checks and slow down so they don't miss when the woman is calling some other guys name during sex.
DNF at 72%, I just couldn't see spending any more time on it. I see I'm in the minority on this book. Let's go with the good, the bad and the ugly. The good-the beginning of this book is a short rehash of how the previous book ended. Very much appreciated by those of us who don't binge the entire series. The bad-it seems the main female character was known and loved by all the crime family bosses, yet she was unable to turn to any of them for help. Also, the insta-love was completely unbelievable to me. And now the ugly, and this really bothered me. There were 2 rape scenes that were absolutely horrible. I don't mean that there was violence, or that the girl was beaten (they were beaten, just not during the rape scenes). No, the author wants us to believe these girls fell in love with their rapists (one while the rape was actually occurring). Sorry, but to me that's just completely effed up.
With the one interaction between Whiskey and Kat in the last book, I knew what would happen in this one. Then with Kat bursting into the club for help, things went about how I thought. The one thing that surprised me, but worked really well, was the plan Kat came up with to take down Krevnyv. Working with the other mobster families was a great idea, they got more business and took out a bad apple. It was interesting to see the MC guys work with the mobsters and how Kat was able to smooth things over so easily.
Things got dicey at the end when the big dumb Russian came and no one could stop him and Kat let her fears get the better of her, putting more people in danger. It worked out well in the end, but there were injuries.
I loved the presents that Kat handed out to everyone. She showed how she listened to them all and gave them things near and dear to their hearts and do good in the world.

Continuing on from the previous book Katarina Krevnyv daughter of bad guy Anton wanted nothing to do with Wade "Whiskey" English until she has no choice. Former elite Marine Sniper Whiskey was captivated from the first meeting and when she runs to the Steel Patriots he hopes it is the start of something good. Something that could last a lifetime. But he has no idea what he's getting into, and who they will have to get into bed with. Sometimes the enemy of my enemy is really a friend in disguise.
This book has a bit of everything drugs, weapons, trafficking, and the sick twisted playground of two men who need to die. removed from this planet. If they can keep her alive, and kill the bad guys maybe he can have a future with her. Another excellent addition to this Free Kindle Unlimited series ***WARNING: Some scenes may be too intense or unsettling for certain readers.
As with the second book in the series there was some repeated material. I actually thought it was good as sometimes you forget some details that could be important to the story. I'm really enjoying this series. It seems like each book gets better. There was plenty of action going on throughout the story. There is sexual content along with some violence that can be a bit graphic for some readers.
Another absolutely amazing read! Finding out how to take down a major player in a sex trafficking ring is big HUGE,and the daughter will be the one to help. But with unexpected turn of events the daughter approaches the team and a plan is made. Truths will be told and lives with forever to changed. Getting to the bottom of all the chaos is only the beginning. So grab your copy and enjoy the ride.
The author has brought not only the Patriots but also the Chinese, Italian, Russian, and Irish Families together to fight a common for and save a young woman from certain death at the hands of her uncle and one sick paedophile of an Arab sheikh. Thoroughly enjoyable characters with a truly interesting storyline, well worth your time to read.
I chose this radio because this was actually a pretty good book. This was a book of protection, endurance, manipulation, and getting back your life. Whiskey and Katerina was a unusual couple. They made it work though. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers and MC lovers..
Another amazing installment but this one has definitely help my heart in its palm. The ending was beautiful and just all the twists and turns and shocks that came along that journey was amazing. Binge worthy goodness, now onto Zulu's story because for the last few days I've been reading this series and I can't stop.
I like getting to know all the characters and i especially like to have a series that continues to grow on you. I open the books and new week new day and what up with everyone? Oh! Somebody loves you...just like family we all fall in love we support each other. Move it along who's next! You are kidding, you? Gotta see this happen...lol..
Kat and Whiskey met when he went to ask for her help and he was smitten by her youth and beauty. She was smitten too. This story was a little scary because it involved abducting young women and men, sometimes very young. It includes sexual assault on these people. Whiskey and Kat help to stop this. Great story!
This story was off the charts Fantastic!!!!. It was so moving, touching, exciting, entertaining and sooooo much more!!!!!. Just Fantastic!!!!. Mary is a Fantastic storyteller and PHENOMENAL writer.😁😊😀.
This book was fantastic. Romance, intrigue, and unforgettable characters. Book 1 in this series made me want to read more, Book 2 got me truly hooked, but this third book made me want to read every other series Ms. Kennedy has written.
Holy cow i did not think Doc and Ghosts books could be topped but Whiskeys book was freaking awesome!!! We have mafia, Russian, Irish, Chinese and Italian we have guns, we have fighting and most of all we have love, love of brotherhood and love of Whiskey and Kat
They just get better an better. I guess what makes me so happy is you keep moving the family along while keeping me updated in the others as well I love this kind of series ❤
I enjoyed this addition to the Steel Patriots MC Series, yes there is some clearly unbelievable plot lines and a little over the top with some things. But it’s fiction and it’s entertaining.
Wow the Patriots have some strange acquaintances. The story is really horrific and plucks at the heartstrings. But the boys are determined to stop the dreadful trade. Kat and Whiskey find their forever amidst the shocking drama.
Whiskey is an ex marine who goes to save Kat and finds his one. Ballerina and law student Kat is in trouble and the Steel Patriots will keep her safe. Loved Whiskey and Kat.
I tried! I really did but just couldn't get past all the military mumbo jumbo. Doesn't read like a true MC to me. Three strikes and I'm done! No more for me!
These books get better and better, the storyline carries on from previous books perfectly, characters are well thought out and just wonderful human beings. I'm addicted to this series
The main love story in this book is good. However there are 2 explicit rape scenes that have none of the main characters in them. They just don’t need to be in the book. It’s almost like they’re only there for the shock factor. Also women don’t fall in love with their rapists. They also don’t orgasm while dripping blood from their vagina from being torn open. Those scenes are disgusting and should be removed from the book.
Whiskey and Kat’s book continues the battle against Kat’s family and their child trafficking. Once again there is a strong sense of family amongst the Steel Patriots and their allies. Another enjoyable book
