Welllllll.....confused much and a bit disappointed.
This story had seem so promising and it is as well as being very good but the characters are a mess and their situations are as worst as they.
Nisa is a class on her own. Some would call her stuck up, others would say bougie, yet she is both but in a good way. Witnessing the "hood" ways in her life, she decides to not become one, educate herself and to get out, but she took it to another level where she looked as if she couldn't be in the same room as the others. She is truly a work of art, as well as a work in progress to become world wide.
Tarik "goon" is a crazy alpha, boss man with a big chip off his shoulder. He can't trust any woman except his mom and so he has a revolving door going on. Even though he is a hood Ma'm, he is educate and business savvy. He is bae all the way! Crazy bae but bae...
Melissa "Missy" is the complete opposite of Nisa. She embraced her hoodiness as well as her professional, educated approach but feels more comfortable in the hood. Strong, independent, and assertive.
Tritan, man an epitome of a cutie, alpha also but leaning closer to being Beta than alpha. He has the same revolving door than goon and enjoys life to the fullest. Not as crazy or wild as goon, he does have a mouth on him.
Avery, Julio, Fay, Apple, Janelle, Devon and Nicole, all need to get ready for their visits because they gots to go ASAP and we already know how goon don't play anything.
This was hilarious, while also a tad sad. The treatment that these brothers inflict on these woman was so degrading ambers disappointed in MS. J. In any case this was a still good book.... Now my biggest bone to pick is how does this start with a 2 book serie , but now it's coming with a 3rd part🤔🤔🤔how does the work? How long we are going to wait?

A Must Read
You wouldn't think Nisa and Missy are sister's because they're very different. Nisa is so damn stuck up and judgmental. Missy is down to earth and easy to get along with. Both sister's ended up falling for the two brothers Goon and Tritan but these brother's got some baggage with them. Goon was rude as hell but somehow he was smitten with Nisa stuck up ass until he mouth got beside her. Somebody seem to be after Nisa. Nisa need to watch her so called best friend Avery. Avery seems a little off and stalkerish. Tritan chased Missy down until she gave him a chance but he has a messy ass ex that have came back to stir up trouble.

Oh yes Tina J did it again. Awesome Book from beginning to end. Them brothers are something else and they seem to extract some crazy women. I wonder who after Missy could it be her sister friend and why Tritan had to mess up I had high hopes for him and Missy. Nisa a little uppity but she trying she really have feelings for Goon she just not use to the street life but who after her too because I don't think Julio got that kind of nerve but Goon ex and Tritan manager do. Great Read!!!
So the characters and storyline is so good. Nisa is a straight up square but caught the attention of one of the hoodest dudes in the area, Goon. I hope he makes it to the hospital and i wonder who robbed her crib. Apple is a hotmess and even though she is Goons bm I don’t trust her. I can’t believe Tritan allowed Fay to set him up. Now Missy is done I’m sure. Dude was caught in the act but I’m sure she drugged him. This is soooo good, i can’t wait to read book 2.

Brother, Oh Brother!
Tarik and Tritan are so mean and disrespectful but I love them both. They have finally met the women of their dreams in Missy and Nisa and slowly turning into one woman men. Some how, I believe Fay had Tritan drugged and there will be hell to pay when it is uncovered. Why did she show up after all this time? Is Apple responsible for breaking in and burning down Nisa house? She is the obvious suspect but it is not likely that she did it. I can’t see Julio doing this but maybe Janell. Time will reveal all. On to book 2.

Nisa is somewhat naive, looks down at folks and her and Goon just SMH. She has to get a backbone to handle a man like Goon.
Exes came back in the picture and I wonder who is the person who did that at the end.

Goon was so heartless he fell hard for Nisa which surprised me that he could deal with her bougie personality. Tritan and Missy had a very bad first encounter but overtime there connection was real and love only comes from that haters are always lurking to destroy someone's happiness. Fay is a snake she is up to something but she may have just cost Tritan the love of his life. Hurry up part 2. Tina J you are the real mvp always enjoy reading your books.

It’s been a minute since I’ve read a Tina J book and baby I feel like I’ve been missing out. I haven’t read about rude a** male leads in a minute and I actually came to realize that I miss them just a lil bit. These brothers are a whole hot mess but the sisters are about to give them a run for their money. I enjoyed this storyline and the plot twists. I’m excited to see where part two goes.

Shit idk who I'm more intrigued with Goon or his damn brother at Tritan.... both are hard core thugged out and I love it. Both of them are hoes up in them skreetz. Both end up falling for chics that are not their usually cup of anything but find themselves falling for these ladies whom are sisters as well. This book was good and it did hold my attention from the very first page. Goon and Tritan is both something else. I like Melissa and she definitely deserved to be happy. Good thing I didn’t follow up with some of the reviews. This is. Good book just have a few spelling errors. Oww Good and Tristan is a piece of work. I’m glad that Nisa and Missy is getting closer now. I’m wondering who could do Nisa like that. And Fay Chile please Missy needs to beat her ass.

The Brothers Went From Ruthless To Sweet Too Quick For Me..One Saying He Didnt Wife Strippers But Having Unprotected Sex W/ One And Threatening Her Life. The Women (sides) Were All Too Desperate For Me Really, Especially Since The Brother Are Notorious For Not Putting Up With BS.

This is a good read.
I actually stop reading Tim's J books. My bookies club members told me about this book. It was actually good. I would recommend this. I thought it was a standalone but it's not, so I wish part 2 was out already
