I'm the heir apparent to the Bratva throne.
She's my new obsession.
We shared one night of passion, and I walked away.
But when my shiny new obsession attacks at the heart of my Bratva family, all bets are off.

Zoey is now enemy number one to my Bratva brothers.
I'm going to be the one to find her, though.
Soon we're engaged in a deadly game of cat and mouse.
One thing is for sure—when I catch her, she's going to pay...one way or another.

This is a dark mafia romance and trigger warnings do apply!

It was a quick read. I’m not really sure how I felt about Zoey to be honest. I certainly understood her dilemma but I did find her a bit weak. As for Vasily he was ok but not as alpha as I thought he would be from previous books. Still the plot was good and so I enjoyed that.

💋💋

This was so different, didn’t expect her to do what she did, can’t say I blame others for the reactions.
Some triggers again in this one, it’s pretty violent and aggressive.
Zoey and her daughter are wonderful, and Vasily , yummy.
This series just gets better.

Cherry Bomb ???? Now that was unique!

WOW what an intriguing plot to S.R. Jones', The Heir!!

Vasily and Zoey's story was intense and full of twists and turns from the very start but I'm glad that Vasily protected Zoey and acknowledged that he was obsessed with her. The Order was an interesting storyline but Jones' writing lets the reader learn that it's far from over with the enemies trying to destroy Konstantin and his associates!

I'm really looking forward to reading Andrius' novella entitled Ghost but his wife, Violet won't be thrilled with him getting drawn back into the underbelly to protect them all!

Zoey has to fulfill the last mission of the Order if she wants to save her daughter: she has to kill Konstantin and Cassie. But she fails and flees, although she doesn’t go far. Vasily, Damen and Ylia find her. Andrius wants to kill her but Vasily convinces him to question her first. And is it Vasily doesn’t want to see her dead, he has other ways to punish her for what she has done, such as marrying her.
Zoey and Vasily have a most peculiar relationship, one of hate/lust/obsession that will turn Vasily against some of his friends.
Andrius will have to come out of retirement to face the new threat that looms over his family, although he fears that this will cause serious problems in his marriage.
Another wonderful story of these crazy Russians. I’m dying to read Ghost.

Once I’m done, I admire my handiwork. My doll is all shiny and new again; she’s just missing one thing. I take the lip gloss out of my pocket. Zoey’s eyes narrow as she looks at it. “You’re such a sick fuck,” she says. I laugh. “And you’re the bitch who is dripping for that sick fuck, so what does that make you?” “I never claimed to be well adjusted,” she says.

There’s another long pause, and then he says, “You say you want to protect her?” “Yes.” “Then make her yours. Marry her.”I hang up the phone and stare inside the house, then I look up weddings in Corfu via my phone. My heart is going way too fast. I know Zoey will hate it, will fight me every step of the way, and instead of making me wary, the thought makes me hard. I’m so screwed. I swear to God that lip gloss of hers is possessed with demon magic or something. She’s put a spell on me, and it’s heady as hell.

“We can’t annul it, Zoey, because I’m going to enjoy fucking my new wife very much. We can, however, divorce, but I’ll be the one to decide that. Not you. From this moment on, from the minute we leave this church, you’re mine. This marriage will be your penance. The ring I am going to put around your finger a reminder of the sins you’ve carried out. I’m going to own you, Zoey, and you will do what I say, when I say it. You’re mine now.”

“Look at me,” he growls. “Look at the man who is going to make everyone who ever hurt you pay and who will let you decide their fate. Look at the man who will get your daughter back. Look at the man who wants you more than his next breath. Fucking look at me, Zoey.” My eyes snap open, and I see the same emotions as I’m feeling swirling in the blue depths of his gaze. “I still hate you,” I say as a tear falls down my cheek. He brushes it away with his thumb. “I hate you too,” he says, his voice filled with anything but. He pulls me into him and claims my mouth, and as his tongue tangles with mine, I come with a low whimper as I lose myself in this … in him. “You know what you are?” he says. I shake my head, scared of what he might say. Crazy? Sick? A sociopath? He grins. “You’re epic, Zoey. That’s what you are. Damned epic. I really think you might be my soul mate.”

“One last hate-fuck?” I ask. He shakes his head. “No. How about we make love?” I stare at him for a moment. “Do you even know how to make love?” “I presume it’s like the hate-fucking but with emotion and gentler?” I don’t want gentle. Not when he’s leaving. Gentle will break me. I shake my head. “No, hate-fuck or no fuck.” His jaw tightens. “You have your needs going forward; I have mine. I won’t make love to you before you leave me. I can’t,” I tell it to him straight. “Fine. You want me to hate-fuck you?” “Yes.”

Complicated

Very complicated plot. Zoey and Vasily are in a bad situation and it still confuses me their choices at the end. I think their story was very good but Vasily had to sacrifice way too much to me and Zoey was very ungrateful to me.

Good read.

I love this series! You can read this as a stand-alone but I do recommend reading the entire series! Vasily has had a thing for Zoey ever since he met her. They share a steamy night together and he has a feeling something is off about her but he does have a bratva to run. Zoey is being forced by The Order to do their bidding and they want her to kill people close to Vasily. Now not only does The Order want her dead so do Vasily’s friends. Can he find a way to save her and make her his? Fast-paced intense read with loads of drama, steam and suspense. An amazing dark mafia read. I loved it!

Completely and utterly taken captive by this story! It was EVERYTHING!!! WAY TOO MUCH ALPHA! The chemistry here is AMAZING- this isn’t just heat. Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments in this book. The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
Bad boy….check
Bod boy’s crazy brother/friend…check
Bad boy’s Kryptonie…check ….check and check
By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how deep hate can run, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
I love every book in this series each of them will keep you on the edge of your seat and force you to turn the next page until there are no more pages to turn so let’s get to it throw in just a little drama, intense intrigue, damning betrayal, chilling danger, and electrifying suspense, maneuvering through the cunning manipulations and double dealing and you have yourself one great read. Vasily wanted loyalty from everyone, and every dealing and he accepted nothing less, he became the heartless monster he needed to be to demand such. He trusts no one so when Zoey fell into his path he wasn’t expecting the thorn in his side to be the queen that brought him to his knees in a good way. Zoey a graphic designer you want to hate but just can’t you admire her strength especially when she is blackmailed to kill the man who gave this all to him so will he be able to help her and keep her safe all while trying to figure out where it is all going but will the rest of the Bratva forgive and accept her?

It's torture to get a book from this lady at 11 pm.
Wanna know why?
Because if I started to read it right away I wouldn't be able to sleep.
If this doesn't give you an idea of how amazing she is, then I don't know what will.
SR Jones is the freaking awesome author that I'm talking about.
Her writing is raw, wild, dangerous, and hot... So hot.
You need to give her a chance. You'll love it.
The Heir is her latest release and it's the fifth book from The Bratva Blood series. A series that you must read first. Start with The Soldier, The King, The War, The God, and only then The Heir.
This new book explores the lives of Zoey and Vasily.
Zoey works as an illustrator for a big company.
She's free as a bird and a bit wild. She's a bit reserved as well.
She looks like the normal geek girl but she hides a huge secret.
Vasily was left to rule the mob by his former boss. He's focused on achieving that goal the best he can and will do it because he's one scary moth*****.
A one night stand with Zoey and he thought it was over until she does the unthinkable...
Jesus... What just happened? I'm speechless at the moment.
Freaking awesome plot, super engaging, surrounded by darkness and drama.
This book holds my heart hostage and I couldn't get it back.
This book was perfect in every way and I didn't want it to end. I didn't.
I wanted to keep reading nonstop.
There were parts of the book that I wanted to slap someone silly, Jesus, stubborn much?
But then there were other parts that I wanted to hold them and promise better days.
This book had it all, love, loyalty, family as well as crime, punishment, and betrayal.
The thing is people are able to do to gain some money.
And... Guys... Hot stuff alert. Perfect in every way.
Freaking awesome book SR Jones, I loved it so freaking much and I can't wait for the next one.  I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

The Heir (Bratva Blood) is the fourth book in S.R. Jones’ Bratva Blood series. In this book, readers get an in-depth look two supporting characters in this series--Zoey and Vasily. Zoey is a graphic artist with a deep secret. She is a pawn for a nefarious group, The Order, in a scheme to kill Konstantin and his wife. Three men, Numbers One, Two, and Three run the Order and are her handlers. They stoop to blackmail her, using her little daughter, to get Zoey to comply with their requests. Vasily was Konstantin’s second in command. When Konstantin steps down, Vasily becomes his heir assuming the lead role for the Moscow Bratva cell. Vasily and Zoey are attracted to each other, but he keeps getting a nagging feeling that there is more to Zoey than meets the eye. Zoey’s assignation attempt fails, thereby propelling her onto a deathly path. Can Vasily help Zoey? How will Vasily and Konstantin react to the knowledge of The Order? Will The Order find another pawn to fulfill their contract on killing Konstantin and his wife? You must read this book to learn what happens next.

Again, readers are given a captivating romantic suspense story. I appreciate Ms. Jones’ writing style. She successfully connects pertinent characters in this series in each book. Her writing style flows nicely. Her characters are multi-layered. Her conversational dialog is concise. There is no redundancy. The banter between primary characters and secondary ones reveals their inner strengths and vulnerabilities. Yet again, Ms. Jones’ does an outstanding job captivating readers’ attention. She masterfully accomplishes this with the use of literary devices such as: backstory, dialog, multiple POVs, and descriptive language. Her writing style is easy to follow. Like the other books in this series, Ms. Jones ends with a cliffhanger setting up the next book in this series. I enjoy her word choices as well as her ability in blending drama/suspense with humor to balance her plot tension. I enjoyed, yet another, memorable romantic suspense story. Way to go, Ms. Jones!

This is a simply captivating read, a fine addition to the series…
This has been a simply wonderful addition to what has been a series that I have thoroughly enjoyed reading, it has everything I have come to expect from this splendid writer. This book of course can be read as a standalone but you will actually have a more fulfilling read if you have read the previous boos which were also wonderful.
Vasily has a thing for Zoey and since they have been together, he has not been able to get the woman out of his mind, there extremely hot and heavy night together has left a lasting effect and although he has believed that something might be off, he cannot put his finger on what exactly is going on.
Being the head of the Bratva is quite a responsibility and he takes it very serious knowing that he has Zoey who he is vey attracted to, unfortunately, Zoey is being forced by “The Order” to do whatever they instruct her to do, no matter whether she wants to or not.
However, it now seems that not only is Vasily’s people after her she is now also under threat from The Oder as well, there are some that would be more than happy to see her dead.
Will Vasily be able to help her?
You will have to read this simply splendid book and discover exactly what the outcome will be.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

The heroine sounded like a strong female adversary in the blurb and I was intrigued enough to try this drama/romance.
Happy to say I wasn’t disappointed with this Mafia based romance with an enemies to lovers twist.
Zoey was a strong heroine and a fitting match for Vasily who became an immediate mark as she plotted to take out his boss to save her beloved daughter Esme.
I liked her backstory and the way she was coerced and blackmailed into illegal missions to keep Esme safe. Totally entrenched with no way out as her talents and skills were used for “the Order”, she was desperate by the time she met with Vasily.
Well written, fast paced with a lot of action mixed in with tons of relational issues as Vasily’s loyalty was tested with his love/hate for Zoey.
Zoey, never the shrinking violet, held her own as her life was brutally tied with Vasily. A tenuous bond was formed as she was allowed to take down her blackmailers and receive help from him to save her daughter.
Tons of heat between this strong couple with Vasily growing uncharacteristically protective over Zoey almost immediately.
I appreciated the lack of cheating and Vasily’s consistent alpha male hero persona combined with Zoey’s grit and sass that made for an entertaining read from start to finish.
Questions still unanswered may be continued in the next book in this series.

Book 4 in the Bratva Blood series. Zoey was tasked with getting close to Konstantin by the Order but it was clear he wasnt going to be easy. When Konstantin retired handing his empire over to Vasily she thought that's where they would send her next, even spending an explosive night together, but instead she was ordered to kill Konstantin. Zoey didnt have a choice the Order held her daughter, Esme's life over her head. After all these years she knew she would likly never see Esme again but she had to to try. Vasily had ignored Zoey's calls ever since their night together, he always felt drawn to her, possessive but something felt off about her. When Andrius calls saying Konstantins been hit he knows it was Zoey, with Andrius' words to tear her limb from limb his no women rule be damned Vasily knows it wont be Andruis but he who will bring her to her knees. Will Vasily be able to overcome his feelings for Zoey and do what everyone demands be done? Or will he become her protector? Just who are there bigger forces coming after them? Another great gripping addition to the series, with action, suspense, desire, revenge  twists and turns, hot scenes, romance and more!

Her choice is impossible and it will cost her.....But is he willing to make her pay in the end

The Heir is the fourth book in the Bratva Blood series. It is the story of Zoey and Vasily. All I can say is that this book is the "absolute bomb" that explodes in so many ways but they are all the best ways. You will have to have read the previous books in this series to really understand what is happening and who all the players are. This is well written, has a fascinating and captivating story-line and the best characters in Zoey and Vasily. You just have to feel for Zoey as she is a woman who is put in an impossible position. When she tries to find a way out she tries to contact Vasily but he does not talk with her. So she does what she knows she has to, even though she knows it will cost her her life before all is done. Well everyone does want her dead but Vasily has her and he is not too sure he really does want her dead. These two have a very intriguing relationship with a lot of emotion at both ends of the spectrum.

I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

With its heart racing, hold your breath while on the edge of your seat beginning this story had my utterly captivated and glued to the pages as I devoured every word from start to finish in a single sitting.
Zoey finds herself in a dangerous and difficult position. Her final decision and actions leave Vasily in a position where he should end Zoey's life for crossing the Bratva. However, with their love / hate relationship, undeniable chemistry and the pull Vasily feels towards Zoey he simply wants to save her.
Their journey riddled with secrets, suspense, action, lust, alpha ness, and steam will keep you on the edge of your seat with anticipation, have you gasping in surprise, and it will heat up your Kindle with the steam.
While Zoey and Vasily have found a way too happily be together something is brewing, a storm is coming for the Bratva family and characters. I will be anxiously anticipating for the next book to see what lies ahead.

This is book four in this series and honestly I would not be able to choose which one is the best. To me I just think of it as a pause between each one. This book is about Zoey and Vasili, they had shared a one night stand a while back that neither can forget. Vasili is the new head of the Moscow Bratva after Konstantin left and turned it over to him. Zoey was working as a graphic designer for K. However, Zoey had infiltrated Konstantin's organization and was being blackmailed by a group holdiner her daughter as hostage. Her orders was to shoot Konstantin. I hate to give any more spoilers from there, but I will say the story is full of twists and turns and suspense. Then there is Zoey and Vasili's intense journey together as they figure out who has been blackmailing her and why. It is full of action and very fast-paced. I could not put this one down.

Vasily and Zoey are featured in this book in the series. Both are tied to Konstantin. Vasily now runs the Moscow Bratva now that Konstantin is out. Zoey is one of his graphic designers so both have been a part of the series.

However, in this book Zoey is the enemy. She’s been working with an organization that asks her to kill Konstantin and Cassie. They head to the beach and Zoey kills the guard, shoots Konstantin 3x without killing him and then leaves Cassie alive.

That’s how the book starts! In the midst of all of this Vasily marries Zoey to keep her safe from Andrius and Konstantin who want her dead. Though they find out that Zoey was forced to do this and they go after the team who were extorting Zoey.

This book had all the things I love in a good mafia romance, love & sex and lots of violence. Vasily and Zoey do get a HEA.

Onto Book 5 in the series. Read this from Kindle Unlimited.

This is a darn good series but I never thought I would be interested in the heir apparent to the Bratva throne in Moscow, Vasili, a scrawling dark mood guy. But when he takes up for Zoey, the bad girl coerced into shooting Konstantin, seriously wounding him but failing to kill Cassie because her mannerisms revealed she was pregnant, I was all for him, even if he didn't know what he wanted or was feeling. In the first couple of books, I had some trouble keeping up with the multinational names of the extraneous players, but with this book, I had no trouble keeping up with all the characters, whether Russian, Greek, English, Russian ex-patriots living in England or relocated to the beautiful island of Corfu. This is a dark but delicious story with exciting action from beginning to end! Highly recommended.

Why make her sound like a badass . She served and has all this training and then turn around and make her dumber than shit ? Everyone is just a contradiction. She was on a boat for goodness sake, why not get away further ? Or, how about asking for help first? She’s been there for 5 years undercover but instead of asking for help to save her daughter , she’s texting asking for sex? You wonder why he doesn’t take your calls ? Talk about dumb !

Every thought she has when she’s with Vasily is sex. He might need to shower me? Maybe it will remind him of what we have? Idiot

And Vasily? What kind of a wuss ass bratva is he? He slept with her. Didn’t pick up her call, so own up to it . He keeps talking about how obsessed he is with her ? Where? He was so embarrassed to even admit he slept with her !! And he had no power, no say, nothing. What a weak ass !!

The fallout from Zoey’s targeted attack leaves former friends gunning for her. Vasily however, is the only one conflicted – torn between loyalty to his Bratva brothers and a need to keep Zoey safe. Will his crazy scheme succeed, or is he only delaying the inevitable? After all, the Bratva aren’t exactly known for granting mercy or offering forgiveness.

I enjoyed this well written, darkly themed mafia romance. There’s plenty of drama, suspense, conflict, anguish, brutality, violence and some humour along with searing chemistry and extremely steamy encounters. I enjoyed the dynamic between Zoey and Vasily – their powerful attraction, the push and pull and their heated interactions. I received an Advance Reader Copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I've been hooked on this series since I read 'The Soldier' and have waited with bated breath for each new book to come out afterward. 'The Heir' has the hunt going on for Zoey who is blackmailed into infiltrating Konstantin's, aka K's, organization, and is ordered to eliminate K but falls short. Andrius wants her dead and Vasili is so head over heels he won't give her up. These are strong characters with volatile and HOT chemistry where emotions run high in a tumultuous world and a mesmerizing storyline. The plot is so elaborate and S. R. Jones and woven it through the story seamlessly, keeping me in suspense throughout its entirety. I absolutely love this book and am so proud to have been given an ARC from Booksprout. Absolutely Brilliant – Love this Female Lead!!

Zoey is in an impossible situation. An organization is blackmailing her to cause harm to the Bratva folks we know and love. Her daughter’s well-being is at stake. She likes the people she is being asked to harm. She reaches out to Vasily for help, but he does not answer.

When she tries to follow through, things go horribly wrong. She is now under the control of Vasily. Most of the others want her killed immediately. You will not be able to put this down. Talk about a rock and a hard place. Stunning, brilliant, not predictable and highly entertaining. One of those stories you wish you had more than 5 stars available to award.

This book comes through with all the twists and turns and feels. At first I was not a fan of Zoey. I did not like how she handled things and felt like she had other choices she could of made. I was determined to see it through though because I liked Vasily’s character and all the other books in this series have been amazing. And I’m glad I did. SR Jones made me like Zoey and Vasily together as well as root for their relationship together. Their story is very unique and really kept me guessing. 10/10 recommend reading this whole series. It is a standalone but there are a lot of characters that have been introduced in previous books and it just adds to the drama and intrigue if read as a series.

I love this series!

I would honestly suggest going back to Raw Heros series then Andrius and Violet's stories and move to what I call the Greek guys before starting the Bratva Blood series! It's not necessary but so worth it because they all connect and having the history built up makes you more invested, like a good soap opera.

Now, about The Heir specifically, I didn't want to like it. I didn't want to read V's story because I was still holding onto the view of him from the first 3 books in the series. I was incredible curious though about Z's story. I ended up loving V! I'm really hoping the series doesn't end soon because it's better than any shows I've watched recently.

Definitely a 5 star read
Well,  The Heir started out intense and stayed that way. It's sooooo full of excitement and anticipation, surprises and steam. Zoey has herself in a very dangerous, difficult situation with The Order AND with Vasily and his guys. Then there's Vasily,  he finds himself at a loss as to what to do with her. He feels a connection to her even though they were together only once. While the others want her dead, he tries to figure out a way to keep her.  This book had me all tied up in knots. These two love to hate each other and they absolutely keep you entertained while they're at it. Another GREAT addition to this Bratva line of books.

Zoey has been placed in an untenable position which may cost her everything. Vasily knows he should end her after what she did, but the last thing he wants is for that to happen by anyone’s hand. Theirs is a tale with edge of your seat suspense and excitement and so many twists and turns that you will become completely captivated. It’s filled with enough heart-stopping action and seriously hot passion to keep you reading from start to finish. Although the story gives Zoey and Vasily a HFN ending, there’s a storm brewing for these characters that is sure to keep us anxiously awaiting what’s coming next.

The Heir by S.R. Jones is a teeth-gnashing, intensely emotional story of Zoey and Vasily. He’s running the Moscow Bratva. She’s about to do the unthinkable to his best friend….all for her daughter.

This story was mind-boggling and really, really hard to read….because the things that happen are unbelievable…and hard to accept. But, throughout it all, they still try to be true to each other.

Captivating, extremely well-written, emotional, drama-filled, exhaustingly intense!!! What a fantastic read!!!!

Man Oh Man! Wow Oh Wow what a read! What a great job with the characters, their chemistry, and the story itself. This is the Bratva Blood Series, very intense, so many secrets, betrayals galore, heartaches, turmoils and conflicts throughout and within the “family” and so much danger for all connected in anyway to the Bratva. When you start this series plan on some down time I can guarantee you are not going to want to set these down until you reach the very last word on the very last page. I recommend these. Definitely a must read series. I received an Advance Reader's Copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest thoughts and opinions.

This is one series that I cannot get enough of and this book will keep your attention from beginning to end. It can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the books in order to understand how things came to be as they are. This is Zoey and Vasily’s story and it is one powerful ride of drama, emotion, suspense, struggle, passion and love. The chemistry between the characters burn up the pages. Strength and loyalty combine to give this book a storyline worthy of the dark alpha hero and the woman who is able to knock him on his knees. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Zoey has been told that there’s only one more thing she has to do for the Order and they will give her back her daughter.
Things don’t go the way Zoey planned and when she runs, she’s found by Vasily and his friends.
Vasily’s friends want to kill Zoey but he wants to punish her in other ways, there’s been something about her since he met her that he’s been drawn to, but this time he can’t shake the feeling that there’s something she’s not telling him.
With the order chasing Zoey and Vasily’s friends wanting her dead and another wanting to make her talk, Vasily knows he feels something for Zoey, but is it enough to make things actually work with her and go against his friends.
