Intense and Violent

First, I want to say that I think this author is a good one. This whole series has been well done as far as plot and world building. There is so much tension and action- scary realistic stuff. The problem I have is mine alone. I'm just not in the right emotional state for a book like this to feel good. This last book especially was VERY graphically violent. It was hard for me to read. I actually had to take a break from the book and come back a couple weeks later to finish it. I think timing is big for me and this book. This year has been scary and stressful and hard. My heart just couldn't take the intensity of this story.

Wonderful conclusion to the series!

I've read and loved all three of the Ten Seconds books. Who have thunk it back in Evergreen, CO? Can't wait for your next book!

What a great conclusion to a thrilling series!! You have to read the previous books, Ten Seconds to Dead and Ten Seconds to Total Exposure before starting this one. There is little to no time between the end of book two and the start of this one.

It's another rollercoaster of a ride for the reader. The author jumps right into the story and it doesn't let up until the end. I didn't want to put it down because I HAD to know what was going to happen. Who could Kate really trust? Was there a mole in the CIA team? Was the person she trusted at the AGI really working for AGI or could Kate trust him to come through? So many twists, turns and surprises lie ahead for the reader.

I was happy the author was able to conclude the story in book 3, but this one is a bit more violent than the previous two books.

First, I'm so relieved that this book finishes the story. My husband is reading a KU series right now that has almost 40 books!

This was an excellent ending to the series. Exciting, dangerous (Kate almost dies again, several times) but also fairly consistent with the first two books, which I really appreciate. The ending was satisfying with some closure and consequences, but plenty still left open to the imagination.

Wow. What’s a series

Wow. I’m not sure how to start this review. I finish the series, on JANUARY 7 2021. So much similarities with what we’re leaving now. Pandemic? Check people around the world dying? Check vaccine again a man made virus? Check
Is L.A. Clayton a psychic? After reading those books I definitely say yes.
I started the new year with this series, and everyone should read it too. Best series I ever read.

A very confident conclusion

As I have read this series, I feel that each book has had great pace and enough intrigue to keep even my mind guessing. At the 90% mark of this book, I felt that it had all the makings of a The Empire Strikes Back ending. I was longing for the 4th book I knew was not out. As I made my way through that final 10%, I felt a sense of hope that frankly the year 2020 has not had for me. I hope all who read this will endeavor to read the series, enjoy it as much as I have, and be left with a feeling of hope.

That was intense

This book was definitely full of suspense. I had to set it down every once in a while and take a breather.
I have been disappointed so many times lately with books that seem to have good story lines and then completely fall flat at the end. That did not happen here.
Sometimes I feel like authors just gets bored and wants to tie everything up and be done, or they don't quite know what to do with all of the loose ends.
This book did not feel like the end was rushed and suddenly the reader just needs to believe that everything is ok.
I felt satisfied with how it all came together.
I would say that I would be happy to read any more adventures with this group of characters, but I think I need a nap first, and maybe a humorous book from her sister to help my heart rate come down a bit. ;)

Wow! What a conclusion. This series was filled with intense action and tons of what I would call fictional reality. Everyone should read this series and see how close we could be to the things described. Clayton did so well laying pivotal groundwork yet keeping us on the edge of our seats. I loved this cast of characters and felt their highs and lows. I look forward to many more books from this talented author. 5 stars!!!

Excellent Trilogy!

An outstanding ending to an outstanding series. While it seemed that another volume might be required to sum up the story, Ms Clayton did it in three and did it very well. This was an exciting string of events that contained a considerable amount of believability. The characters are well developed and the plot was quite realistic. A series that was a fun read!

Riveting

I was on the edge of my seat reading from the first page it was so intense I had to stop reading every now and then to catch my breath. I can’t say enough about this series of books. The suspense builds in each book. The characters are great they are by far the best books I have read this year. I can’t wait to read the next book by L.A. Clayton

Great book!

I’ve just loved every book in this series. This was no exception.

For me at least these were every bit as good of a techno-thriller as Tom Clancy, Dan Brown or Michael Crichton.

For a relatively unknown writer LA Clayton did an excellent job with these books. I hope she continues to write more novels like these.

Thought provoking series

From the first book to this final book, it creeped me out that this could actually happen. It was a chilling story of something that is plausible. What an imagination. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

I’ve read this book before, but it’s been a couple years. The entire second half felt like brand new information because the last time I read it I was SPEED reading, desperate to get to the end.
My absolute heart. Very much worth the read!

What a ride!

This entire series is amazing! This series is unique from any I’ve read. I liked that it was 3 books (not more). Every page had my attention. This book was filled with twists and turns that I didn’t expect. L.A Clayton is a new favorite author of mine! If you like suspense-filled books, you’ll love this series. Definitely, read them in order.

Incredibly powerful conclusion to a fantastic series! Clayton has kept me on toes for months as I've waited for each book. This conclusion was full of intrigue, bravery, surprises and had an intensity that kept me drawn the entire story. Although the story has danger and death, it is not scary. The events are stated plainly and without gory description. The characters are of genius level in their areas and they fit the needs of the team. This book is well written, and even though I was not expecting some of the events, it was wrapped up nicely and unifying.
