This book is hilarious and very easy to read! It's fast paced and keeps the reader engaged. Although there are lots of illustrations, they are minimal in style and not overwhelming. The text type and fonts used portray the different personalities of the characters so well. I laughed the whole way through. Excited to read the rest of this series.

La verdad, es q me ha encantado la relectura de este libro. Son cómics, así q son muy rápidos de leer y tmb son súper divertidos.
Son perfectos para niños a partir de los 9 o 10 años, y tiene mucha acción, aventura y sobretodo, amistad. Es uno de los found family más bonitos y tiernos q he leído.
Obviamente, voy a continuar con la saga ya q tengo hasta el 12.
Tengo muchas ganas de ver como sigue la historia. Muy recomendado.

Es complicado para un adulto entrar en un libro infantil. Y esta sensación se acentúa cuando en lugar de una simple historia, estamos hablando de un cómic. Ayuda haberlos leído (los cómics) desde pequeño, pero nunca se podrá ser justo con una valoración adulta.
Si fuese niño, a pesar de unos dibujos simplificados para evitar que la atención se vaya del curso de la acción, el cómic se haría muy gracioso, muchísimo por momentos. Aunque quizá si fuese un niño, no terminase de entender la ironía que encierra alguna de sus situaciones. Está en un termino medio de todo.
Aun así, es una lectura amena y entretenida, que se disfruta en unas pocas pinceladas de forma sencilla y deja buen sabor de boca.
Por cierto, su inicio es un poco indefinido, no se termina de explicar la razón última de por qué el Sr. Lobo decide convertirse en un "buenazo". Eso me chirría. Quizá se explique más adelante, pero por ahora, esa sensación de no contarse todo queda ahí.
Con todo, no es una mala opción para los chavales.

Miss 4 is autistic and the chapter books that she really likes, she REALLY likes. We have read the the Captain Underpants and Dog Man books many, many times over the last two years and we have now added the Bad Guys to the mix reading Books 1-8 several times through over the last month. It's an awesome series that it likely to be a hit with fans of Dav Pilkey (and his endorsement on the covers helped encourage me to buy them).
I love the personality contrasts between the characters - the endless optimism of Wolf, comedy from Piranha, master-of-ridiculous-disguises Shark, pragmatic Snake, and mad skillz from Legs. The first book is something of a standalone (and there's a slight difference in tone with Books 1 and 2 before the series veers away into pure fiction) but the rest have a definite on-going plot arc. Our favourites are .

Lo pedí prestado en kindle para echarle un ojo antes de comprarlo para un regalo y al final me lo acabé leyendo.
Es para niños pequeños y creo que si lo hubiera leído de niña me habría parecido gracioso pero a estas alturas es difícil saberlo. 😂
Lo que sí me hizo gracia como adulta es la traducción*, está muy adaptada al lenguaje coloquial español, no son calcos y dicen cosas como "una sardina raruna" o "señor arrumacos" (para uno que da muchos abrazos) o "ir en busca de movidas". Pero lo mejor, el título. En inglés es The Bad Guys, pero en español como son animales y son malotes pues... Animalotes. Es una tontada pero me hace gracia que se le haya ocurrido eso, me quito el sombrero. 😂
Y me entero ahora leyendo otras reseñas de que hay una película de Dreamworks, estoy ya fuera de onda de todo. 😅

Loved this!
I read this as part of a book award scheme I am getting involved in and I can certainly see why this made the short list! Although the concept is quite simple - The "Bad Guys" turning good - the humour and style of this book make it so appealing.
The illustrations really tie this book together well, the smirks and deadpan reactions from the shark, snake and piranha are laugh worthy in themselves, with Blabey's sarcasm coming through brilliantly.
Because of its comic strip style, it isn't the longest of books but I got through it in just two sittings. Reminded me of my childhood days spent reading Captain Underpants and my brother's obsession with Diary of a Wimpy Kid! Definitely worth a read for boys and (immature) men.

Mr Wolf, Mr Piranha, Mr Snake and Mr Shark (in Reservior Dogs style suits) decide to go from being bad guys to good guys. Although very much not the age group this is aimed at, I loved it. Great characters and quite hilarious. I love the fact that the piranha gets so upset when folk keep mistaking him for a sardine, albeit on one occasion a vampire one.

Muy divertido, pero las gafas violetas hacen que me cueste disfrutarlo a tope. Faltan personajes femeninos (que creo que en la pelicula se mejora)

Brilliant book fast paced, exciting and funny. I can't wait to read the rest. My kids love the film and my daughter was given this book. I've rarely seen her get into reading something so avidly and actually finishing a book.
