He’s a rough Vikir warrior. She’s a mostly proper librarian. Can an Earthling woman and a green-scaled alien find love together in the stars?

After she’s kidnapped by blue-skinned aliens, Taylor escapes and bails from an alien space station in a shuttle she has no clue how to drive. She crash lands on a nearby planet made up mostly of jungle. Once she finds her way off the planet, she’s determined to return to Earth. Until Wulf, her Crakairian “mate” comes to her rescue. He says he won’t fight her if she wants to return home, but that doesn’t stop him from trying to change her mind. He’s gruff and scaly and much too appealing. And his kisses? If she could keep her hands off him, she might be able to think straight. But with jungle creatures trying to eat them, going home might not be an option.

As head of his Vikir clan’s warrior regiment, Wulf is scarred and unrefined, the exact opposite of his sweet female mate who speaks in a sophisticated manner and loves books. When she tells him she’s thinking of returning to Earth, he decides to show her what she’ll be missing, even if he can only do this in a rough and bumbling way. But with jungle creatures hunting them, their biggest challenge will be escaping the planet.

Wulf is Book 5 in the Mail-Order Brides of Crakair Series. This standalone, full-length story has on-the-page heat, aliens who look and act alien, a guaranteed happily ever after, no cheating, and no cliffhanger.

AVA ROSS fell for men with unusual features when she first watched Star Wars, where alien creatures have gone mainstream. She lives in New England with her husband (who is sadly not an alien, though he is still cute in his own way), her kids, and assorted pets, including a yorkie pup and three cats.

He might have been lost, but she found him.

4.5 stars!

Another knockout by the amazing Ava Ross! Wulf and Taylor's story starts off with plenty of action and excitement as Taylor is kidnapped and taken to a planet overrun with deadly creatures. Wulf was such a freaking sweetheart, intent on protecting his mate-to-be and returning her to the safety of his home, and his banter with the chatterbox Taylor was so endearing. I cannot believe that I have devoured this entire series during the whirlwind that has become 2020, and it's bittersweet to know that there's only one more book left! I look forward to Lyle's book next as we haven't met him before, and I hope we get to say goodbye to the other mated pairs as well ♡

A Jungle Crash, A Scarred Warrior, and a Librarian’s Spacebound Adventure

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙💚💜❤️🩶
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Chemistry: 🧪🧪🧪🧪
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘📔
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌏🌍
Character development: 😟🙁🤓😍🥰
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration

In a post-plague future where Earth partners with the planet Crakair to exchange technology for interplanetary brides, former librarian Taylor signs up—not for love, but for the promise of children. What she doesn’t sign up for? Abduction by four-armed, blue-skinned traffickers, a rogue escape through space, and crash-landing in a jungle teeming with alien predators.

Taylor is an endearing heroine—practical and bookish but quietly yearning for something more daring than the quiet aisles of Earth’s libraries. Her internal monologue is laced with dry humor (regretting basket weaving over karate at the YMCA), and she approaches life-threatening danger with the same narrative lens she used to read her adventure novels. When she’s forced to go full survival mode after crash-landing on the wild planet Yaris, she does so with resilient charm and a backpack full of pluck.

Enter Wulf, her assigned mate from Crakair. A Vikir warrior from the rugged mountains, Wulf is gruff, scarred, and utterly convinced he’s unworthy of love. His past rejection and orphaned upbringing fuel a quiet vulnerability that makes his fierce protectiveness—and his awkward misunderstandings of human customs—all the more endearing. His interpretation of Taylor’s blushing as “camouflage,” and the term “counterbalance mounds” for breasts? Utterly hilarious. The banter and cultural misfires are a delightful counterbalance (pun intended) to the action and tension.

One of the story’s strongest elements is its respect for Crakair’s deeply ingrained mating traditions. The formality adds tension, especially when clashing with impulsive human emotions, and reinforces Wulf’s quiet integrity. Despite craving connection, he follows protocol to the letter—a detail that makes his emotional arc all the more satisfying when he dares to believe Taylor might actually want him back.

The world-building shines with imaginative flair. From head-sized insects to thunderous jungle beasts, the setting pulses with danger and discovery. The crash site survival elements evoke a sci-fi “Jurassic Park” vibe, and the ecosystem feels vivid and cinematic in scope.

Narration is delivered through dual perspectives by Teddy Hamilton and Tawnia Murray. Hamilton’s expressive range captures both Wulf’s quiet sincerity and fish-out-of-water confusion with sharp timing and emotional warmth. He handles the humor and tension seamlessly. While Tawnia Murray’s performance isn’t quite to my taste—there’s something about her tone that occasionally pulls me out of the moment—she still delivers a strong portrayal of Taylor’s wit and vulnerability, and overall, the pairing works well.

Final thoughts: This installment balances steamy tension, humor, and heartfelt moments with immersive world-building and character growth. Wulf’s journey from self-doubt to emotional openness is as gripping as the jungle survival plot, and Taylor’s resilience offers both laughs and heart. I’ll be diving into the next in the series with high expectations—and maybe a bug zapper.

Wulf and Taylor get their chance at a HEA and their courting is chock full of a dangerous planet that would probably devour them both whole if it could get away with it. I mean, this planet has person-eating plants and person-eating animals and aliens who are VERY NOT NICE. On the plus side, it also has some kindly (yet dangerous in their own right) glowing aliens who strongly believe in repaying debts.

While Wulf's courting was a little unorthodox (he improvised in allllll the right places, if you know what I mean), he did his thing while getting Taylor to safety. Which is exactly the thing to do, by my reckoning. *thumbs up*

So this series is a case of it's not you, it's me.
I realized when I read this line:

"If he made that statement in an alpha way, she might have called him on it."

I like alpha. I like my fantasy books to have some dub-con and hard Heros and the fantasy of being cared for by an overprotective Hero.

I don't read for reality. And this series, it's very girl power. With enough consent conversation thrown in to sound a little after school special. Women who think about sex so much they can't even have a life or death chase scene without being overly distracted by thoughts of the Hero's body. The sex is 100% focused on the woman's physical pleasure with no concern for the man's or desire by the heroines to please the men.

The heroes come across as a little bit pushover, desperate to win over whatever women they are paired with, and over the top perfect in their respect and concern and yes, more respect for the women and their at times overbearing and over the top "I can do it myself!" Ways. Even when the women are strangers in the world and have no skills or training, they can do it, dammit, and the Heroes are happy to let them.

Which is nice and I realize what it says about me that I don't enjoy it, but I don't. It's just not my cuppa.

I didn't rate it for that. The books are for the most part well written story wise for their genre, and flow okay. They sometimes seem to go on much longer than expected with multiple conflicts and conclusions, but there's nothing glaringly wrong about the stories. They just don't do it for me and that's okay. They likely do for many others.

I didn't like this book as much as I liked the other books in this series. I think the atmosphere was kind of too dark for me. I highly recommend the other books in this series though. I have given them all a 5 star rating.

This one didn’t sit well with me

Okay, for me this was the worse book by far. I didn’t like Taylor at all. She had the worse personality and she just disappointed me a lot in this book. This review will be kept short because to be honest if I write a long review it will just be bashing the book and that’s not how I do things unless the book was beyond terrible which it wasn’t. I will list a couple of major cons and just leave it at that. I don’t like comparisons, she would actively compare Wulf to her ex Ben while being intimate. She would actively compare Wulf to Ben while he would compliment her. She ran her mouth way too much, never listened to reason and couldn’t read a room. Also there were some amazing what the hell moments in the book. Like the leader of all the warriors parking his ship and within minutes a whole family of spidaires (I can’t even describe these things) nest around his ship?? Didn’t he cloak the damn thing? Or I would assume he would? I mean why land in a clearing on a hostile planet where your ship could be seen? Also, how in the hell did these monsters breach a spacecraft to nest inside? Why didn’t he have a gun? He armed himself up yet it only consisted of a sword and a small dagger? 😫🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ then the gauntlet of beasts attack them all at once. It was like a free for all. 10 different species at once. Somehow she’s able to sprint in a dress and high heels..... fast forward, a visit from a friend. I won’t say who but it’s a friend of Mila’s but she doesn’t tell Wulf until sometime later... she would rather flirt and make small talk about a hippo.... you’d think the latter contact with a sentient being would be crucial but nahhhhhh. They were supposed to be at their oasis for a couple days but turned out to be several... lol so long they were tracked and surrounded... then bring in the unbelievable amount of wildlife yet again to attack them. All species converge upon them as they run upon the backs of giant beasts dodging laser fire from space ships and a wild smaller carnivorous beasts give chase YET even bigger more docile beasts that’s supposed to be protecting their young don’t chase off said carnivores 🤦🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤣... the matebond which was seen as sacred was more of an afterthought in this book. Although it was different for each couple it was gained in a unique fashion. Theirs? Well lol anticlimactic. All I will say. I give this one 3 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Taylor is nervous about meeting her Crakairian mate for the first time. What she should be worried about is getting kidnapped en route, then stolen from her kidnappers, and then finally crash landing on a jungle planet that takes its cues from Jurassic Park. Wulf has his own anxieties about being able to win Taylor's favor after coming to her rescue, but there's no time for second guessing himself when death waits around every turn. Their chances of escaping Yarris might seem pretty slim, but at least the imminent danger gives them plenty of bonding opportunities.

Taylor and Wulf were first introduced in JORG and more was revealed about them in KRAL, the following book. Whatever I thought I knew about their characters, those expectations were blown out of the water in WULF. Taylor may have been a librarian, but she was hardly prim and proper. Many heroines have thoughts that run a mile a minute, but she was a true motor mouth. Luckily for her, Wulf got a kick out of all of the crazy things she said. Both of them had plenty of insecurities, so being with a partner who spoke their mind so freely was a real benefit and went a long way toward boosting their self-confidence. I could have done without quite so many alien beast encounters at the beginning of their journey, but it was certainly effective for drilling in how foreign and dangerous the planet was.

With Taylor and Wulf getting their HEA, I thought that the series might be drawing to a close, but the author clearly still has more up her sleeve. I'll have to keep an eye out for the next book release.

When we first met Wulf he was flying off to find his mate as the space craft she was on was calling to the Planet Yarris surface. When he lands he has only one thought on his mind to d his mate and make sure she's alright. What knows what it is like too be lost and alone. When he was 9 his parents died leaving him with out family. He never truly felt as if he belonged or that anyone wanted or loved him. When he meets Taylor his whole world!d changes.Wulf will do anything to rescues her and love her u too his last breath. Taylor was kidnapped in the last book and she's being held by the Al’kieern, they want to sell her for the highest price. She's been poked prodded and tied down for over a week and one of them has kidnapped her again to use as a shield and because of that she's on her way to crash landing on a unfamiliar planet. When Taylor wakes in the wreckage she attacked by the deadly beasts and plant life on Yardis. Just when she thinks her life is over Wulf swoops in and rescues her. As they run for their lives in this Jurassic park world the begin to realize the depth and breadth of their attraction to each other. The love and true caring that develops between thus leading couple is sweet sexy hot and heart felt. That they call in love while trying to stay goodwill keep you on there of your seat wanting more. Terrific read I highly recommend not just this book but the whole series.💖💖🔥💖💖🔥😍😍

Awwww!!! That is the sound my heart is still making after reading Wulf by Ava Ross. Wulf is the next instalment in the Mail Order Brides of Crackair series, and it is yet another great fun, sweet, sexy, action-packed read.

Taylor is a librarian who has dreamed of being adventurous like her favourite book character. She is NOT the librarian stereotype of shy or quiet, in fact her mouth will not stop working, which leads to many humorous moments with communication problems between her and Wulf. Wulf is a Vikar warrior and an orphan who has felt like a loner ever since his parents died. Their story is so sweet and builds beautifully with a shared understanding based on self-esteem issues. It also includes yet another great meet-cute written by Ava. If your heart doesn’t melt for Wulf when reading his POV there is something wrong with you; I just wanted to give him a big giant hug!

Ava is developing a ‘signature style’ with this series; each book has feisty females, hunky aliens, loads of weird alien creatures and nonstop action. I love how you can be fanning yourself due to the ‘sexy times’ one second and laughing out loud the next – usually due to language differences. If you have enjoyed any of the other books in the series, you will love this one too. If you haven’t read about Crackairian’s before, you are missing out.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

A tail. He has a freaking tail!!

Quotes:

Studies showed people cried when they were subjected to tense situations. Being kidnapped, knocked out by a lightning stick, poked and prodded for who knows what nefarious purpose, and then tied up each night was enough to make a girl weep. She earned these tears.

Taylor wanted lots of babies. And Earth was fresh out of baby makers.

The guys were hot, sweet, and, rumor had it, awesome lovers.

Gorgeous? With his scars, that was not Wulf.

He would show her he was worthy. She would not reject him like everyone else had.

How could a beautiful, sophisticated Earthling female such as her ever fall in love with an orphaned Vikir warrior like himself?

“Power is not about being cruel to another.”

“Power comes from love. From the contacts you make in life and the relationships you build.”

He held her through the night, growling whenever anything came near.

“Do not let anyone tell you that you are not pretty. To me, you are the most beautiful female I have seen.

“Let me be the sword, and you can be the mind. As a reader of books, you are infinitely smarter than me.”

A jungle was all fun and games until you had to fight off an enormous, flying centipede.

she was going to pierce him through the heart and leave him bleeding.

Like his naanans, his tail functioned as an independent limb. He could control it. Mostly.

“This is you, the person I’m falling for already.

“When we reach Crakair, I’m staying. Forever, if you want me.”

This is such a good series and I can't stop reading. So here is Wulf and Taylor's story. So we know that Lily, Mila and Taylor were separated in book three. We also know that Lily and Mila have been found. Now we find out what happened to Taylor. Now Taylor is a librarian and has an imagination like no other. Oh boy is she funny too. She also has a self esteem issue because of an ex that she had. Then we have Wulf who has not had it easy. His clan thinks he is dumb and worthless however he is Kral right hand man. Like please people he worked his way up to become the best warrior in his clan. They are the dumb ones if you ask me. Anyways, he finds her on another planet that is filled with many dangers. He rescues her and she is thinking that when she gets a chance she is going back to earth. Only when she finally meets Wulf and all his green glory her mind goes else where. I mean I had a lot of laughs through out the book and it broke up a lot of the ongoing adventure they were on. Wulf was determined for her to see him as he is and hope that she will choose to stay. So let the courting begin. I think this one is my favorite in the series. It was all worth it at the end. They both got a happily ever after. There are a couple more books in the series that I will finish up at a later date. Overall this is a great series.

This alien PNR series is a great break from reality and seriously addicting

Written for mature readers only (18+ years old) due to subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, steamy intimate scenes and violence.

This includes kidnapping / abduction, fighting with some to the death, human / alien “breeder” trafficking, etc. While this could be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend it be read in series order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers as there are reoccurring characters and an overall storyline arc.

This is the fifth story in the Mail Order Brides of Crakair series. While there are some overall stories’ themes, there is enough differences as to how the Crakairians go about recovering their potential human mates to keep it interesting.

The heroine of this story was abducted as the next batch of female mates were traveling to Crakair to meet from the chosen males. There were three females in total stolen as they held a bridal shower for themselves. The other two were recovered / rescued in stories #3, 4, and 5.

The stories are well written, thoughtfully arranged and worth the effort required to correlate all the stories into one cohesive thought.

My least favorite of all the books I've read by this author, couldn't finish it.
Taylor is aggravating as a character. She talk incessantly about everything and nothing, all at the same time. She never shuts up and it's annoying. Wulf deserves better. He's a lonely character, having grown up as a kind of ward in his society, of people only taking him in to use him, then dumping him. That was sad. He loves that Taylor can have whole conversations without any input from him. I was listening to the audio version, kind of sad that I paid good money for it, to be honest. In the middle, I decided that I couldn't stand the narrator's voice for Taylor anymore and thought it might be better if I just read it on my own. That didn't improve it for me at all. If anything, it just put me off the book even more. I didn't finish it, and that's bad for me. I mean, yes, read it to complete the series, like the first 3-4 chapters were okay, but she still talked too much then, too. I thought for sure her talking would get her and Wulf killed three or four times over. I was hoping a giant bug would come and save him from her, maybe wrap her in a giant spider web or knock her out for a while, she was that annoying.

Mail-Order Brides of Crakair - Wulf & Taylor

I'm going to be honest. This book was bad. I thought that Book 4 was an off book by the author (whose books I generally enjoy), but sadly, Book 5, this book was awful.

Taylor is one of three Mail-Order Brides who were kidnapped by the Al'kieern. I didn't learn much about Taylor from the previous two books, so this book was an eye-opener. Taylor almost never shuts up. She talks incessantly about nothing/everything. The book seems to want you to believe she talks a lot because she was an intelligent librarian on earth & I find that insulting to intelligent librarians everywhere. Taylor is ill-suited for life in the Crakair wilderness as a Vikirs mate. She's really quite ridiculous, with few redeeming qualities.

Wulf is a lonely, sweet, kind & sexy Crakairian Vikir. He is a warrior & an honorable man who is lonely & longs to be loved. How he falls for Taylor is beyond me & only possible in the authors' fictitious world. I liked Wulf.

The last chapter/epilogue is the only part of the book spent on Crakair & it was a total letdown & very short. It's a disappointing end to a disappointing book

Wulf and Taylor

When Taylor was kidnapped by blue, four-armed aliens, she ended up on a space station orbiting a planet.
Then she is kidnapped again, this time by a lone alien, and they crash land on the planet.
Luckily, her intended Crakarian mate comes to the rescue, and the two of them have to survive the hostile planet long enough to find a way off.

Both Wulf and Taylor have been badly treated in the past, leaving them with emotional scars, and some insecurity. The trip through the wilderness allows them to confront their fears, and get to know each other.
It’s an emotional roller coaster, and it was nice to see them find their happily ever after.

This concluded this story arc within the series, with the three brides who were kidnapped from the Crakarian ship and carried off, each getting their own happy ending.

The stories can be read as a standalone romances, but work best if you read the series, and follow the overarching background story, which continues throughout the books.

Recommended for those who enjoy sci-fi alien romance.

A very enjoyable cute alien romance story with likable characters that I totally enjoyed reading. You have two insecure characters looking for someone to love them. Wulf a warrior is afraid his warring skills is all he has to offer and that he was a orphan that no one wanted desires a mate so he's determined to do everything by the book to impress his chosen mate and Taylor whose ex boyfriend Ben made her feel insecure because of her size and her constant talking. A Al'kieen took Taylor from the space station to escape to the planet Yarris but the ship gets hit and they crash land. When she wakes up her captor is gone and a huge spider is trying to reach her when Wulf comes to her rescue. As they journey toward his ship they are confronted by dangerous creatures. When they arrived the spiders have taken over his ship by building a nest. Now they're stranded until they are rescued. Will they get off the planet and will Taylor choose Wulf as a mate? I volunteer to read and review this ARC via Booksprout.

Guess who's back? Tell a friend. Ava Ross is back again.
I just totally Slim Shady-ed this all up.

Do you like steamy hot aliens? Well, then you probably should be reading Ava Ross books. Her newest Wulf is a stand-alone but continues the over-arching story of the Crakarian and the Al'Kieerns, this time on Yarris--a place they are not welcome by the locals.

Fraught with action and adventure Wulf is probably more a favorite than any of those in the recent past. It harkens past to the thrills of Axil. It's non-stop fun for the reader. That said, that also means there is too little breathing room, so I ding it a star. I needed a short time to pull back, and I didn't feel at any time like there was a time the two weren't in danger.

Next, we have an all-new character Lyel. I'm eager to see where Ava Ross goes with his story. I'm never disappointed with her books.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary advance copy of this book.

Why Make Women So Silly?

Wulf is book 5 of the Mail-Order Brides of Crakair and was by far the only disappointment of the series so far. Taylor was such a silly, jabbering about the most inane things that quite honestly it became annoying. In the most dangerous situations she was jabbering on and on with earth phrases and about earthlings that were a total mystery to Wulf. It was so easy to skip entire pages once Taylor started jabbering and not be at a lost to continue the story. This book seemed to not really have a solid base.

As much as I’ve enjoyed Ms Ross stories this one had no redeeming qualities. It is quite annoying to have an intelligent and accomplished male hero that is paired with a bumbling silly airhead female. Why make us women so silly?

Am not giving up on Ms Ross because of 1 weak ill planned story out of 5 good solid ones in this series. As always my gratefulness and appreciation to all the wonderful authors for sharing their stories with us.

This series has been outstanding! Taylor is a mail order bride, which apparently is a valuable asset in the galaxy. On their way to Crakair to meet her match, Taylor and the other women were kidnapped by aliens to be sold. Taylor found herself on a space station orbiting some planet. But she is kidnapped yet again by another alien, and this one appears to be her intended mate from Crakair. They crash on the planet with both of them needing to fight together for survival until they find a way to escape.

The time together lets them both learn things about each other, as well as learning to trust and work together. Each of them have suffered from emotional scars, doubts and insecurities. Wulf knows that she may choose to go back to Earth. So he must find a way to show her what she means to him and hope she will decide to stay with him. Can they fall in love this quickly? Can they find out what they need to know about each other and give their love a chance?

Wulf is a combination of vulnerable little boy with a heart that never mended after his family died and hot Vikir warrior swinging through the trees like Tarzan. Taylor is a hilarious librarian who can’t stop chattering when she is nervous, but she is very insecure after a bad relationship ate away at her self-confidence. She is braver than she knew. Wulf and Taylor are stranded on the hostile planet of Yarris looking for a way to survive and escape. These two plunge from one danger to another, but they just keep fighting. The language mishaps are so funny, I almost hate when their translators start working! Ava Ross’ imagined critters are funny but deadly, and Treessse makes a few appearances. This book was full of action, with lots of spice thrown in. I loved how vulnerable both of these characters were, and how they helped heal each other. Can’t wait to start the next book in the series!

3.5 - 4 stars

Mail order brides from Earth is not for everyone but being matched to aliens they get more than they signed up for. The women find new worlds—the men find mates entering into arrangements that they never thought they would find.

There is action, suspense and tension as these women navigate their newfound lives. Emotions run high as they confront their circumstances, dealing with the conflicting feelings of fear, hope, and longing. The presence of strong alpha males adds another layer, as they vie for the attention of these Earth women, leading to moments of romance and interesting encounters.

Amidst the challenges, there’s also an undercurrent of playful interactions, as the women learn to assert their own identities and desires in this strange new world. Overall, it’s a captivating blend of love, action, and adventure that keeps you engaged from beginning to end.

A really intriguing story. It has some great characters that are very likable and I enjoyed their adventure. Taylor was a librarian kidnapped from Earth and ends up on a space station orbiting a planet. She's kidnapped again by a lone alien but they end up crashing on the planet below. She wakes from the crash while a spider is trying to get to her. She's rescued by a Crakarian warrior named Wulf. Both of these two have been treated crummy by others which leaves them with scars and insecurities. As they are trying to stay alive on the planet Yarris where plants and animals are trying to eat them. These two are perfect for each other, Wulf is strong and brave and devoted to Taylor. Taylor is funny and cute. There is action, adventure, and steamy scenes. Can't wait for the next book. I received an ARC copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is an alien romance book. it’s witty, action packed, has steamy scenes and a happily ever after ending. This is the story of Taylor and Wulf. Taylor is a human female who has signed up for the mail order brides. Her match, Wulf is a vikir warrior. Things go very wrong for Taylor when blue four armed aliens capture her and 2 other brides when they are on the way to meet their matches. When one of them takes her hostage and flies down to the nearest planet, Taylor is petrified. Then the ship crashes. When she wakes up there’s giant animals trying to kill her, her rescue comes in the for of Wulf, her match. He rescues her and protects her. When they find his ship has been taken over by giant spiders, they need to find another way off the planet before they are eaten or worse.

Ava Ross has sky rocketed to the top of my must read authors list with this book! Ms. Ross has a way of grabbing onto and throwing her readers into her books with her wonderful storytelling and world building. Her characters are so endearing that you can't help cheer for their happily ever after. This story is one heck of a wild roller-coaster ride and I absolutely loved it. Wulf and Taylor's story is one of surviving a hostile world in order to escape and give their possible mating a real chance. This story has everything that you could want: comedy, drama, action, danger, conflict and of course hot romance. You will be sorry if you miss this 5th, as well as all the previous ones, in her Mail-Order Brides of Crakair series!

Wulf is confident in his ability to fight and protect, but not much else. Likewise, Taylor struggles between loving who she is and battling the insecurities instilled in her by culture and her ex boyfriend. For both of them, their confidences come from themselves, and their insecurities have come from the way they have been treated by others. When they each treat the other in ways no one else ever has, they give each other hope for something more and form a bond.

Of course, their bond and internal growths occur between every aspect of the planet trying to harm them. They make it through the perils with the help from some old/new friends. Never underestimate a tiny glowing rug!

Taylor and 2 other women are on their way to meet their Crakarian matches when they are kidnapped by other aliens who wish to sell them. They get separated. The alien who steals Taylor takes her to a planet where he will up with colleagues, but they crash, and he is killed leaving Taylor in a hostile environment. But her match, Wulf, has been following and comes to her rescue. Now they must survive and find a way off the planet and to Crakair. During the time they are together he is trying to court her according to his customs and persuade her to accept him. Lots of threats by creatures and the bad aliens colleagues.

Both Wulf and Taylor are insecure when it comes to relationships, and it is interesting seeing them open up to each other. This is erotica, so very sexy.
