He's found his fated mate.
If only he could remember her…

When Shane meets Bekah, and his wolf claims her, all the broken pieces of his life finally snap into place. He's ready to settle down, but his witch band mates have fame on their minds and a sinister plan to achieve it.

No werewolf in his right mind would agree to summoning a demon to help them achieve stardom.

And if Shane's not with them, he's a liability…

All single mom Bekah wants from Shane is a one-night-stand with the sexy musician to help find the woman in her she's lost. Though their sizzling chemistry and his promises of tomorrow are enticing, she's not surprised when he ghosts her.

Until he shows up at her café with no idea who she is or how he got there.

Neither can deny their soul-deep connection, but an unknown menace has followed Shane to New Orleans. If he can't recover his memory, his fated mate—and the entire pack—will be in danger.

Can Bekah help Shane remember his past? Or will both their futures be in peril?

If you like hot musicians and fated mates, you'll love this page-turning paranormal romance.

He’s met his fated and his wolf has claimed her snapping all the broken pieces of life into place, but Shane’s witch band mates have fame on their minds and a sinister plan to achieve it which interferes with Shayne’s plans of settling down. She’s a single mom and the only thing she wanted from Shane is a one-night stand to help her find the woman she’s lost, so Bekah’s not really surprised when all his promises of tomorrow don’t pan out, until he shows up at her café with no idea who she is or how he got there.

A sweet romance with some emotionally gripping suspense and excitement that really grabs readers’ attention. The chemistry and attraction between Shayne and Bekah burns hot throughout the story and their bond is so strong that even an evil spell can’t break it. The plot of the story, while short is fast paced and full of suspense and excitement that keeps readers glued to the pages and the charm of an intuitive little girls brightens everyone’s day. Shane proves to be one hot musician with a strong heart and protective nature while Bekah is a strong heroine that stands by her man in this thrilling novella.

A Song to Remember: A Crescent City Wolf Pack Novella (Mystifying Music Book 3) by Carrie Pulkinen is another great job in the series and maybe my favourite so far. It is a sweet romance story with magic and shifters, witches and other things that normally go bump in the night. I fell in love with Bekah and Shane and the world that Carrie has created for us.

Shane wants to quit the band but his bandmates have other things in mind. Running to what he thinks is a call for help turns into something much more sinister. The only thing he can remember is a name, a name he know somewhere deep inside. What happens when the magic turns bad?

Bekah thought she met the man of her dreams but it seems he is just like everyone else. That is until he turns up many miles away from where they first met and right at her doorstep. She suddenly realises that something bad has happened to him and she sets out to help him in any way she can.

A great quick read.

A Song to Remember is a novella set in the Crescent City Wolf Pack series but you can read it as a standalone. It is a quick but enjoyable read.
This story gets straight to the action and doesn’t stop. I love how this author can tell such a vivid story even with this not being a full-length novel. A Song to Remember gives you some emotional moments mixed in with the danger and suspense.
Overall, a fun, romantic read. This novella is a great supplement to the series. If you haven’t read the other books, you really should!

This was a great read. It had drama, suspense, and definitely romance in spades. I loved that there were witches in this read; they definitely added to the drama in this read.

A great read about memory. Shane is a musician and a werewolf. When performing a gig in a pub, he meets Bekah and they instantly connect as she is the fated mate that he's been waiting for. But when a friend dabbles in dark magic, he is robbed of his memories. Can he find her again without his memories?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns that I just couldn't put down. Well developed characters like Shane confident but vulnerable underneath or Bekah standing up for herself but with her worries underneath. Great cast of supporting characters like the skeptical Chase or the cautious Luke or the sweet Emma.
I loved the visual detail throughout the novel like with New Orleans cathedral of white marble and tall spires and colourful houses and little backstreets as somewhere full of magic and wonder. Or the saxophone itself with its case and keys in simple beauty. Or its music sweet and melodic drawing you in so vivid it's as if you're actually there, wonderfully written.
A great example of world building with fantastical creatures living alongside humanity with their own rules and laws and societies. I also loved the passion for music throughout the novel was a lovely touch. The switch of perspectives was easy to follow with named in the sections and to display both sides of the story. I also liked the use of suspense with small details and memories revealed slowly to make you want to keep reading to find out what happened. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

A SONG TO REMEMBER is the fifth book in the Crescent City Wolf Pack series and the third in the multiauthor Mystifying Music series. This story will stand completely on its own, but there is some interaction with the characters from the Crescent City Wolf Pack series.

You know how sometimes authors seem to say “but what if I do this or this to keep our romantic couple apart” just to drive you batty. Yea, that’s what Carrie did this time. I was BLEEDING for Shane and Bekah! And don’t even get me started on Shane’s bandmates. I’m sure you’ll join me in the witch burning brigade there! (Hey, some of my best friends are witches, but these ones have got to go!)

Now, you know that a book that makes me feel that passionately is just plain wonderful. The story is supposed to make you feel and this one did with every page.

Just like Shane, I loved my trip from Orlando to New Orleans. I look forward to my next trip to the Big Easy with Carrie Pulkinen.

Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

A Song to Remember: A Crescent City Wolf Pack Novella (Mystifying Music Book 3)
By: Carrie Pulkinen
5 out of 5 stars

The story A Song to Remember: A Crescent City Wolf Pack Novella (Mystifying Music Book 3) by Carrie Pulkinen is a wonderful paranormal/werewolf book. It hooked me from the very beginning, and I found myself turning pages to find out what happens next. I loved reading about the characters of Shane and Bekah. There is a deep connection between them. Shane wonders if Bekah could be his fated mate. His wolf is sure. Shane also finds himself in danger and without his memory. His bandmates believe him to be a liability to their plans. Love is a powerful emotion and even with no memory, Shane finds himself at Bekah’s café. Can Bekah help Shane regain his memory? How much danger are Shane and Bekah in? What does the future hold for Bekah and Shane? Read this book to find out. This story has romantic moments that will make the temperature in the room rise. I love books that are about werewolves and this one is a wonderful example of why. There are other characters that interact with Bekah and Shane. Many are helpful to the couple and don’t think twice about coming to their aid. Don’t miss out on a story when a handsome band member and the owner of a café find out if they are fated mates. I highly recommend reading it.

5 out of 5 stars

A Song to Remember is the third book in the Mystifying Music A Crescent City Wolf Pack written by Carrie Pulkinen and I really enjoyed this story it seems like with every book just gets better and better.
The characters are awesome, and the plot was great and different. This is a romance story with magic and shifters, witches and other things that normally go bump in the night. We also have memory loss, suspense, drama, danger, and love.
We meet Bekah and Shane's in this story they meet in a to have a one- night stand but, Shane’s wolf claim Bekah but when he leaves her, he tells her he will be back. When he doesn’t show up, she goes home.
One day Shane shows up at Bekah’s café with no idea who she is or how he got there. Can Bekah help Shane remember his past? Or will both their futures be in peril?
Neither can deny their soul-deep connection, but an unknown menace has followed Shane to New Orleans. If he can't recover his memory, his fated mate and the entire pack will be in danger.

Shane is a musician and a werewolf in a band of witches who want to summon a demon to bring them fame. Shane wants nothing to do with that but agrees to play one last time with them. He meets Bekah and his wolf claims her at his fated mate. Bekah just wanted a one night stand with Shane but begins to fall for him. Still she's not surprised when he doesn't show up the next morning as promised. Unbeknownst to her, the witches decided if he wasn't with them he was a liability and performed a spell to erase his memory. When he shows up in New Orleans three days later with only the clothes on his back and his saxophone, Bekah first sends him on his way but he tells her all he can remember is her name and the name of her café. He later gets the memory of her back but everything else is lost. They must work together to regain his memory and later fight the demon who is on his way for Shane.

I love the Crescent City Wolf Pack series and this novella was no exception. I was hooked from the beginning and kept entranced until the end. I highly recommend both book and series which I suggest you read in order.

What a great story that shows us the power of music….the power of a single song. Shane is a werewolf in a band full of witches. He’s already had his rounds of fame and fortune and found that it wasn’t really for him. He preferred to stay in one place for more than a few days at a time. His current bands mates unfortunately have different aspirations. They want fame and are willing to summon a demon in order to achieve it. Shane wants no part of it and decides to leave the band. That night he meets Bekah. His fate-bound. He plays one song just for her. And that one song will be so important to his future. That night something bad happens and Shane forgets everything….except that one song. Will he remember Bekah? Will she be able to help him find his lost memories? What danger is lurking around the corner?

This was a great short story with a bit of everything within its pages. Music, romance, suspense, witchcraft, black magic, love, loyalty, family. This book has it all. I thoroughly enjoyed this novella and I am looking forward to more from the Crescent City Wolfpack!

Wow! Good Read! Even though this is a novella. There is a lot of story here. I enjoyed meeting these characters. The story takes me through ups and downs before giving me what I want. My only wish was that this was a bit longer on the backside. It seemed more abrupt when everything previous seemed to take its time.

Shane! I really felt for you. Just trying to be a nice guy and all. That didn’t work out too well for you. The music was an awesome detail and you are obviously very talented. I’m glad you found the connection in your song. Bekah! First off great name! I like your connection to the pack. I loved how once you realized who Shane was you were in his corner! Fighting for your man!

This can easily be read as a stand alone. Although Chase and Rain’s story is fun-food filled and their story might enhance your experience in this book. I enjoy this authors stories. She writes a nice all encompassing characters as well as the story.

A Song to Remember: A Crescent City Wolf Pack Novella (Mystifying Music Book 3)
5 Stars!!!!!

This is yet again another great read! I have read a few books from this author and I am never disappointed. I really like the author's writing style and storylines. I love how she entwines a bit of drama into the romance. I am a huge paranormal romance fan and I love me some werewolf. This book was just a gripping read.

The storyline between Shane and Bekah is actually really sweet. I like how the characters really come to life as you read. I like how the author leads the reader on a journey. The way a bit of the past is entwined into the book and the characters even being paranormal based are realistic. I could really relate to Bekah and her insecurities when it came to her judgement. I really like how the author brings them together. The book was a great read and I will be reading more from this author in the future.

A Song to Remember: A Crescent City Wolf Pack Novella is the third book in the Mystifying Music series by Carrie Pulkinen. It is a fantastic paranormal romance- with werewolves, witches, second chances, betrayal, danger, supernatural elements, mystery, suspense, drama, and plenty of sizzle….. and once again set against the vibrant, colourful and mystical backdrop that is New Orleans.
The characters are really fantastic and really made this story come alive. They were really interesting and very well developed. I loved Shane and Bekah, they were so great, I was full on board right from the beginning, and cheering them on the whole way through.
As I have said on more than one occasion- Ms. Pulkinen is one of my favourite authors and I have developed a severe addiction to her work- but, this is one addiction that I am more than happy to indulge- no rehab needed, ever!
Looking forward to whatever she has in store for us next!

Thank you, Ms. Pulkinen!

A Song to Remember: A Crescent City Wolf Pack Novella (Mystifying Music Book 3) by Carrie Pulkinen

5-Stars

A Song to Remember: A Crescent City Wolf Pack Novella (Mystifying Music Book 3) by Carrie Pulkinen was an exciting and romantic read. Bekah and Shane finally find each other only for Shane to lose his memory. Somehow he manages to find his way to New Orleans where she is but she doesn’t fall for his act. Can they figure out why he lost his memory and find that love of a fate bound again?

This story was an easy paced one and easy to read. I got completely lost in it and finished it in one sitting. Shane had impressive musical abilities and Bekah learned to trust herself more in this story. I loved that it tied in characters from the other books but can be read as a standalone. I also liked how the author pulls Emma into the storyline and let’s her show off some of her own skills. This was such a wonderful read and I highly recommend it!

I give A Song to Remember: A Crescent City Wolf Pack Novella (Mystifying Music Book 3) by Carrie Pulkinen, 5 stars.

I have really enjoyed this series so far and was looking forward to this, the next book in the series. It fit in being that it I involved the same werewolf pack and had a boy meets girl romance, but it was so different as well. Having Shane forget everything but somehow remember Bekah was a great twist. They way it happened was quite different too. Both Bekah and Shane are real, wonderful characters, making you feel like you know them. Not to mention the story itself. Not only is there the romance that you want to happen, there is something evil seemingly after them. This makes it much more than a paranormal romance novel in my opinion. This is not a very long read, so if you are like me and can't put it down, you can finish it fairly quickly.

If you are a fan of shorter paranormal romance with good characters and an interesting story, this book is for you.

Another great read in this wonderful series I have loved them all and this one is no exception it flows well the characters pull at your heart strings and there is a little suspense and drama to give you a tingle.

Shane a rogue wolf shifter and member of a band meets Bekah when his band is singing at a club There is an instant connection between them and Shane's wolf is screaming mate. Bekah is a little dubious she has been hurt before in love her partner left her and her daughter high and dry when he walked away. Then it appears that Shane has done the same thing to her again that is until he turns up at her cafe with no memory of who he is the only thing that he knows is that Bekah is important to him Can Bekah as an empath help him get his memory back and unravel the danger that is facing him.

A Song To Remember: A Crescent City Wolf Pack Novella (Mystifying Music Book 3) by Carrie Pulkinen
4 Stars

Bekah just wanted a one night stand. One night to feel like a woman again. What she found instead is her fate bound mate. Being burned before, she wasn’t sure if she could trust her feelings. Shane wants to put roots down somewhere and live a quiet life. His witch band mates have different ideas. They want stardom. He unwillingly plays a part in their crazy scheme and now something is after him, threatening his future. Can they both survive the evil that’s hunting them?

This was another thrilling paranormal romance novel. It’s an exciting addition to the Crescent City Wolf Pack series. The story was based solely on Shane and Bekah but it was nice to see older characters reappear. I love this series and now I have to wait for a fourth part.

A Song to Remember: A Crescent City Wolf Pack Novella (Mystifying Music Book 3) by Carrie Pulkinen - Review by Gail Guerrero

4 stars

A song to remember was a short read but interesting. To find your fated mate is a blessing to have to find them with no memory tragic. I do wish this story was longer just so I could get to know the characters better. Emma seemed like a good character and hopefully we get to see her grow. Shane and Bekah were fated but it seemed that everyone was against them. I felt like a lot was missing from the story due to its length. It was put together well though. They had to jump through a few hoops to get to their HEA but it was well worth the wait. I’m going to look into more by this author just because it wasn’t a bad read and the story had a lot of potential.

A Song to Remember by Carrie Pulkinen is a Crescent City Wolf Pack novella. It can be read as a stand-alone although I personally like the build up of reading the other books first.
I loved how fast this book was. It felt like it was so intense as so much was packed into it with great detail. However it also never felt rushed and didn’t ever feel like anything was missing. The characters were brilliant. They had such a strong connection that you could feel on each page.
This author has created a fantastic series and one that I enjoy more and more with each book. I would highly recommend everyone read this series.

A Song to Remember is a novella that is part of the Crescent Wolf City Pack by Carrie Pulkinen. This is my fifth novel by this author.

Shane is a musician who meets his fated mate causing his wolf to claim her. Only thing Bekah wants is a one night stand but when they see each other again, Shane doesn’t remember her.

His bandmates want to summon a demon in order to become famous. If he refuses, he’s against them.

This was a really good story. I loved Shane and how he couldn’t remember Bekah but I also loved their chemistry and how their relationship progressed.

I highly recommend this short read and this series.
