Jingle Lady is a cute spicy Christmas novella. That made me laugh, it was exactly what I needed.

When it comes to cooking Libby is one hot mess. Almost sets her kitchen on fire to dry leaves for tea. Seriously, who does that? I laughed so hard. She meets firefighter Brenden, and he knows on the spot there is just something about her. He asks her out on a date and these two are in Insta-love.

Libby will make you laugh over and over again. Brendan is a total hunk of love. He is protective of his sister. The novella left me wanting more.

A super sweet, festive story to get you in the holiday spirit in a speedy fashion! 🎄🎅🏼☃️ Sprinkle in some lovey dovey scenes and you are set!

While the length of the book is small, the story is mighty! Sometimes I am hesitant to read short stories/novellas in fear of the story feeling incomplete or way to rushed. I have read Melissa Williams' Donut Disturb series and loved it so I was eager to see how these short, fast paced Holiday themed books would compare..... And they (or at least the first one I have read) did not disappoint!!!

Grab yourself a cup of hot cocoa (or peppermint tea lol) and dive in to the All My Jingle Ladies series!

For the length of the story I am giving it 5 stars holly jolly stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Genre Christmas Novella

Jingle Lady is a fun holiday romcom novella. While I prefer my books to be a little longer (I didn’t realize this was a novella when I purchased it) it was a funny and steamy read. Surprisingly, I didn’t mind that this was an “insta-love” novel (usually I hate the trope). I think this is because it worked well for a novella. Had it been a full-length novel I think I would have had a totally different opinion.

That being said, this is a really quick read and quite cute for a holiday romance. I recommend to those who just want to get lost in a book for an hour.

Suspend belief here for a moment and just dream a little dream.

You almost burn down your house making mint leaves for tea, and a sexy firefighter comes in to help. He laughs at your weird comments and finds you charming. Then wants to have sex with you, and spend the week with you having said sex everywhere!

That is the basic premise of this novella. Totally dream worthy, crazy steamy, holiday vibes galore, and did I say steamy! Well there you go, ‘nuff said! Go read it!

That was a fun little erotica romance for the holiday season! Jingle Bells all the way!!!

A hunky fireman named Brenden goes to a woman's house named Libby because her fire alarm went off. She was trying to dry mint leaves in the oven set at 400 degrees! They have an instant attraction, and they mess around a lot. Plus there's some Christmas spirit thrown in.

I am a huge fan of novella’s and this book is the perfect read in one sitting InstaLove romance. This book is filled with laugh out loud moments, holiday references a plenty, adorable Christmas sweaters and festive naked times, making it a perfect holiday treat!

This was a cute novella to kick off the All My Jingle Ladies trilogy by Melissa Williams.

The romance was insta-love but I mean what else would you expect with a novella under 70 pages? It was ok though. I thought Libby was a little too quirky for my taste and she had a lot of Christmas puns up her sleeve. I think if it was a 300+ page contemporary romance I would have DNFed, but it was short so I stuck with it.

I loved the little hints thrown in about the other stories to come in the trilogy. Those got me really excited to read the next two! I think I’m going to adore both of those more than I liked this one. They seem like they’ll fit more under the tropes that I like.

Jingle Lady is a holiday pun filled, sweet, heat filled, hilarious holiday story and the perfect evening read!

Libby and the kitchen do not mix. However, after an unfortunate oven incident that led the fire department to her home and Brendan into her life. From the moment they meet there is an instant connection that neither of them can deny.

Their romance wasn’t all candy canes and sugar plum fairies, but that didn’t last long and helped progress their story. Libby and her two best friends, the other two members of All My Jingle Ladies, were absolutely hilarious and I can’t wait for their stories and the rest of this series!

If you’re looking for a laugh out loud, pun filled, holiday romance this is a MUST READ novella that will jingle all your bells.,

Oh my sides from laughing hell! Jingle Lady was one hilarious read that had tears coming out of my eyes while reading on more than one occasion. I also almost wet myself, had a hard time breathing while spitting out my drink for the grand finale! This story is one Christmas story that I'm going to make it a tradition to read every year because it will brighten my day during those hard holidays. Libby has issues in the kitchen (I totally relate), which is how she ended up in the path of Brendan, since the fire department was called to her place. The sparks were flying which led to all kinds of sexy shenanigans which were holiday festive (LOL).  Her besties also added more hysterical laughing while reading this story & I'm starting to laugh all over again! I CANNOT WAIT for more stories with All My Jingle Ladies, and I truly believe that you'll feel the same after you hit those one click buttons! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

4.5 Star review of Jingle Lady (All My Jingle Ladies #1)by Melissa Williams

Melissa Williams is a new author to me and I have no idea why I have not come across her before. This was a fun and entertaining story that had me invested from the first to the last page in Brendan and Libby’s story.

I love stories centred around Christmas, throw in a hot firefighter and it’s a win/win for me. I found the main characters likeable and easy to relate too, Libby is fun and quirky and I could easily see her as a friend. There were so many laugh out loud moments, add in Christmas sweaters (which I love) and plenty of festive steamy moments and I was hooked.

Although not a long book it certainly had me smiling throughout and gave me a much needed pick me up.

Libby is a woman who embraces Christmas from her seasonal sweaters to her bell playing group. She never imagined that almost setting her house on fire might just be the best thing to ever happen to her when it brings Brendan to the rescue.

Brenden is a sexy fireman who soon finds out that the flames between him and Libby burn stronger than those that brought her to his house. There is no denying the chemistry between them and now they just need to decide if what they have is a fling or forever.

Sweet and sexy Libby and Brendan’s story definitely brings out the magic of love and the season.

Libby's not so great in the kitchen. But that not so greatness is OK because it brings a gorgeous firefighter into her life one night when she leaves something in a hot oven for too long. Will this hot firefighter be just what she asked Santa for this Christmas? Or will she be doomed to ring her bells alone when Brendan gets spooked by the quickness and the intensity of their feelings?

I have to admit that the Christmas commercials lately feel like too much too early, but after reading this sweet, sexy piece of Christmas insta-love I just may be in a better frame of mind to brace for the holiday season. Libby is adorable and Brendan is a sweetheart. This jingle lady and her firefighter's story is short, sweet and sexy. The perfect thing to brighten up this very dreary world right now.

Jingle Lady
is the first of three new holiday novellas by author Melissa Williams. If you want a cheesy, insta love, holiday read with a high level steam factor then this one is for you.

"Woah. Now that's a kiss. The stuff of Hallmark movies and mistletoe. He took me, no hesitation, and devoured my lips like they were sugar cookies."

Libby almost burns her new house down without realizing it. Next thing she knows she has a house full of firemen and one in particular catches her eye. The moment Brendan meets Libby he knows he wants her in his life. They have an instant connection that they automatically explore but with things moving at warp speed Brendan second guesses everything they've started. It takes a wake-up call from his sister to realize he never wants to let Libby go.

"I want to be so wrapped up in her that we can't tell where one ugly sweater begins and the other one ends."

If you pick up this novella be prepared for insta love, some awkwardness, matching holiday sweaters, lots of bell ringing, cheesy Christmas puns and hot as hell sex scenes. Melissa Williams delivers another entertaining rom com that's a lot of fun and I look forward to the rest in this holiday series.

Christmas erotica? Sure, why the hell not?? When I saw the cover for JINGLE LADY I knew I had to read it🤣 and so many of my friends were excited to hear my thoughts, so here they are!

I actually . . . Genuinely enjoyed this novella? It was CUTE and WHOLESOME and had some pretty spicy scenes😏 The only thing I didn't like were the pet names, because I find those annoying in general, but otherwise this story was so festive and fun!

It follows Libby, a hilarious, seemingly innocent woman who LOVES Christmas. She's practicing for her jingle ensemble concert while trying to dry out mint leaves to make homemade tea, when her smoke detector goes off and firefighters show up at her door👨‍🚒🚒 Of course, Brendan, a real hunk of a man, falls instantly in love with her and invites himself over later that night. He brings PIZZA, so ya, even I fell in love with him🍕

This story has so many things I typically don't enjoy—love at first sight and Christmas cheer? Yuck🤢—but this year has been so fucking depressing, and this story made my heart grow five times its size.

I'm sorry I don't have any hilarious commentary on this one, friends. I gave it 4/5 jingle bells🔔 and already purchased the second in the series!

Book 1 in the All My Jingle Ladies series and the first htat I have read from this authro and I loved it. Quick read that will leave you with a smile. Loved Libby and Brendan. They met when she was trying to dry leaves in her oven and he knew that she was the one for him. The chemsitry and attraction was instant. Loved them together. There was a little drama on his end. He started to second guess how quick this was heading but after talking with his sister, he realized that he was wrong in what he was doing. Great story with wonderful characters and I can’t wait to read the rest in this series. This was my first book by this author and it won’t be my last.

Great Holiday Pick Me Up!
This was the sweetest Jingle Bells Christmas Story quick holiday read. I loved the instant connection between Brendan and Libby, his interest in her love of bell ringing and how quickly he brought out her confidence.
It was fun to see her go from shy and quiet and to telling this big strong firefighter exactly what and how she wanted things.

Jingle Lady is a sweet, steamy, PG-18 Christmas Hallmark movie in book form.
It has everything you need for a jolly good time - a quirky heroine, a rugged hero and a severe case of Insta-love mixed with holiday cheer and ugly sweaters.
A quick read, with the same effect of a cup of hot chocolate - bound to leave you feeling the Christmas spirit.

What an absolutely delightful Christmas novella this is!

Jingle Lady by Melissa Williams is book 1 in her All My Jingle Ladies series which will be 3 novellas, each with a new couple.

In book 1 we have Brendan and Libby. After a hilariously adorable meet-cute when Libby almost burns down her kitchen, she meets Brendan the firefighter. Sparks instantly erupt and a quick, steamy, whirlwind of a romance takes place. Brendan immediately falls for the quirky, honest, spastic girl despite a history of fearing commitment. And Libby, known as the "single" friend, falls right along with him...although she's more honest about her feelings. I loved her backbone!

This is an insta-lust/love story with humor, wit, sexy times, a little smidgen of angst/drama, and the sweetest HEA. It's perfect for a holiday pick-me-up or a quick afternoon read. The fact that our main ladies are bell ringers is so cute.

A cute, Christmas insta-love story
4 stars

Sometimes I’m just in the mood for an over the top insta-love romance and what’s even better about this story is that it’s covered, head-to-toe in Christmas magic.

Our story is short - about 65 pages and taking only about an hour to read. It’s the story about Libby and Brendan and their cute, Christmassy tale of meeting and falling in love.

Libby is the slightly quirky, slightly awkward but fully relatable heroine who, while almost burning her house down, connects with one of the hunky firefighters sent to rescue her.

Brendan is said hunky firefighter and he’s your perfect insta-hero. He’s protective, kind, sweet and completely accepting of all of Libby. Oh, and he’s hotter than a burning inferno. But what makes this more than just your standard insta-love story is that while Brendan is happy to spend time with this girl who makes his heart beat faster, he’s also completely panicked and overwhelmed by all these feelings he’s having. It struck me as hilarious and really worked to make the story more realistic…while still giving us what we all want from an insta-love story.

We get sex and it’s hot, heavy and delicious but it doesn’t overwhelm the story. There are also a number of laughs and moments which tickled me. As well as all the Christmas references. And I love me some Christmas!

This is the first in an inter-connected set of three standalone novellas about three friends from the All My Jingle Ladies bell performance group. There are snippets in this book that give hints of what’s coming in Nadia’s book (Jolly Hour) and Gretchen’s book (Oh My Garland!) but this story stands completely alone.

This was a super cute and fun Christmas story that really rung my bell in the best way. If you’re a fan of insta-love and Christmas then you’ll likely find this just as fun a read as I did. And no doubt, you’ll be looking for your nearest bell performance group to join, when you’re done reading. 4 stars.

Wow this book was amazing, sweet, cute, funny, Christmas themed, steamy and has a lot of awesome characters.. This book follows Brendan who is the brother of Belinda from the Donut Disturb series..

It was fun getting to read and learn more about Brandon in this book and he is so sassy and funny.. I liked the relationship between Brendan and Libby because it was so cute and sweet..

It was really Kool to see Brandon with his family and also get to see Belinda and Luke in this book a wee bit..

You get to see a different side to Brendan in this book because he try's to hide the sweet and Romantic side because he does not want to get hurt.. The ending was amazing and i can't wait to read the rest of these books in the Trilogy..

If you are ready to take a bullet train to Bonetown then this novella is for you!

Insta-love is a hallmark of novellas and JINGLE LADY is no exception. I honestly could have used an additional scene or two before that train ride, but I like a slow burn so novellas always feel rushed to me.

This book is sweet and steamy and filled with holiday cheer. I had to do a major eye roll when the heroine started crying actual tears of joy when the hero brought her a Hawaiian pizza...I mean...🙄. But besides that, this was a sweet and fun novella.

Libby Haider is a beautiful, single, shy, and funny lady who adores – correction, is a fanatic of any and everything Christmas. Although she goes on dates in the past, nothing seems to make her want to stay with them longer than one long-distance relationship. Her definition of “long-distance” this made me smirked! Libby part of a holiday handbell ensemble group called “All My Jingle.” She is a disaster in the kitchen and typically stays away from anything cooking until the idea of making homemade tea leaves.
“I have a feeling Libby is going to f*ck me up.”
— Brendan, Jingle Lady

Brendan Effnert is the handsome, drop-gorgeous, and blue-eye firefighter who saves Libby from a kitchen disaster. He was doing his job of securing the concerning area until he saw Libby in her candy cane leggings and Sleigh, Girl! sweater…he was a goner. Who knew that mint leaves and an oven could spell a whole new exciting experience for Brendan!
He’s the clapper to my bell, making me ring and zing in erotic places with just one look. Oh yeah, he rings my bells, all right.
— Libby, Jingle Lady

I love the Christmas jokes that Libby and Brendan would banter around. It made everything light and relatable. It eased the readers to the root cause later in the book. There are some conflicts, but it reminded me that Libby and Brendan are still human with flaws, no matter how lovable. They have their fears and doubts about their capabilities to love each other or be vulnerable with their heart, even when they had no choice but to gravitate towards each other.

Insta-love, love-at-first-sight books is a tricky one for me unless written well. Jingle Lady successfully made me snicker, laugh out loud, smile widely, and pinched my heart just enough to make it memorable. The characters were engaging and pushed me further to want to know the rest of the supporting characters. The story may be short but packed with steamy adventures, unending dates, and a cute Christmas rescue to top everything. This story brought about essential topics of putting oneself out there for love and taking a “no-nonsense approach” to relationships. The chemistry is piping hot from the start until the last statement.

In summary, Jingle Lady is a big YES for me!

What will readers get?

Steamy, funny, and adorable as can be as readers dive into the world of firefighting and bell ringers in this fun, sassy, and cute love story wrapped ready for the holidays.

The story is spot-on and easy to follow. The scenes are as steamy as they come, if not better! The characters are lovable and got me excited to read the next book in the series coming soon from Melissa.

"I may have never taken dating seriously or given it much thought, but I think there was a reason for that. I was waiting for you."

Jingle Lady is a quick insta love, cheesy, pun filled holiday romance that will have you ringing Christmas bells and laughing out loud.

Libby is a disaster in the kitchen and proves it by almost burning it down. Brendan is one of the firefighters attending the call at Libby's house. Their connection is instant from the moment they lock eyes but when their relationship moves too fast, Brendan second guesses everything. After a phone call from his sister, Brendan decides Christmas miracles do exist.

This is the beginning of the All My Jingle Ladies Christmas novella collection and had me laughing out loud at all the Christmas puns and awkwardness. The chemistry between Brendan and Libby was hot and heavy. All the Jingle Ladies are hilarious and I am looking forward to the next books in the series.

Brendan Effnert is a firefighter. A good one if he was honest. While on duty, Brendan valued the fact that he was focused and ready to do his job at a moment's notice. Nothing fazed him. Nothing disturbed him during working hours. But the day Brendan walked into Libby's house, he forgot what he was supposed to be doing.

Libby Haider is a bell ringer, Christmas lover, perpectuantly single and a little crazy about Christmas. It could be said Libby is a bit forgetful. So when she is practicing for the upcoming event featuring her bell ensemble group, All My Jingle Ladies, Libby did not realize her house was on fire. Until the blue-eyed firefighter dashes through the door.

A little holiday fun and laughter is needed and this fast-paced ride gives us that and more. Cheers to Melissa Williams for a fine book!

"Jingle Lady" by Melissa Williams was a cute, funny, quick read and I would recommend it for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy, particularly anyone who enjoys the insta-lust/insta-love trope.

There wasn't a tremendous amount of character development, which I expected would be the case since the story was so short, but even so, main characters Libby and Brendan were rather endearing, and their romance had just the right amount of steam. I had to laugh at the way Libby rambled when she was nervous and completely missed the fact that Brendan was trying to ask her out at first. Her love of all things Christmas was also adorable, especially when contrasted with Brendan's sometimes Grinch-like nature.

I was intrigued by the hints that were given about the next two novellas in this series and look forward to checking those out over the next couple of weeks. I also look forward to checking out Brendan's sister Belinda's story in the recently-released "Christmas Treats" anthology.

4,5 Stars for Jingle Lady ( All My Jingle Ladies #1)
What a quick, funny, entertaining read but don’t be put by the quick because this book still has enough going on to draw you in to the magic of the holiday season. Melissa Willians is a new author to me but after reading Jingle Lady that’s going to change and I will certainly be reading more in this series as well as checking out other works from this talented author.
Libby is a fun, quirky character we would all love as a friend and what’s not to love about Brendan a hot fire fighter who comes to Libby’s rescues when she almost burns her new house down.....
This is the stuff Hallmark movies are made off so if Christmas and Christmas movies are your thing you will want to read this entertaining story. A magical read set in the wonderful holiday season.

Whilst practising her bell ringing, Libby is unaware that her smoke alarm is going off until the last minute. Realising that she has burnt the mint leaves she had in the oven. With a knock at the door she's confronted by the fire brigade leaving her cringing at her culinary disaster.

Looking up she spots the most handsome man she has ever seen, beautiful blue eyes and a fireman... Could it get any better? Brendan has an instant connection with Libby asking her out and things progress from there. Spending the next few days with each other.

But is it all moving a little too fast for his Grinch-like personality? Is Libby just too soon with her affections and festivities?

A charming novella, perfect as a festive season treat.
