[I received a digital arc for an honest review]

Jolly Hour
is the second book in Melissa Williams' series of holiday rom com novellas. This one follows the instant connection between workaholic Nadia and her CEO's brother Ajay. They meet during the company's annual "jolly hour" where the free booze leads to bold actions. When their romance travels at light speed , Nadia hesitates to accept that she's found her soul mate in Ajay.

"My head is spinning. I'm not sure if it's the alcohol or the magnetism of Ajay but damn, I feel hot. Needy."

While I didn't love this one as much as the first book I still really enjoyed it. It starts with a hot and steamy encounter and is filled with holiday fun. Ajay is intense off the bat with his feelings for Nadia, and she more realistically doubts her sudden reaction to him. I guess I just struggled to click with either of our main characters. Either way I'm excited for the last novella and still think if you want a quick, cheesy, holiday romance these are quality.

Another fun entertaining read in the All My Jingle Ladies Series.
This author is fairly new to me but I’m loving every book I pick up her hers and with Christmas being my favourite time of year, the All My Jingle Ladies are right up my street. If you are looking for a quick read that leaves you smiling like a Cheshire Cat look no further.
I was drawn in from the first page and Nadia and Ajays story captivated and held my interest to the final line, this may be a quick read but its still a steamy, fun and entertaining. Nadia is a workaholic and she needs a lot of encouragement to take a leap of faith with the hope it’s Ajay who catches her.
This book has characters that are easy to relate to, a story that’s passionate and fun and one hot alpha male who knows exactly what he wants and isn’t afraid to go after it........
A great addition to the series that for me brought some sunshine to a world that seems a bit crazy at the moment. Looking forward to more by Melissa Williams

Book 2 in the All My Jingle Ladies and it was a fun Christmas novella. You can read each book in this series as a standalone but they do overlap a little since it is centered around a group of friends that ring bells in a musical group. Loved Nadia and Ajay. The chemistry and attraction between them was instant and intense. There will be some small bumps in their road to their HEA but it will be worth it in the end. Loved this quick read.

4 Star review of Jolly Hour (All My Jingle Ladies #2)by Melissa Williams

Melissa Williams is a relatively new author to me and I have no idea why I have not come across her before. This was a fun and entertaining story that had me smiling from the first to the last page in Nadia and Ajay’s story. Although not a long book it certainly was steamy and entertaining.
I love stories centred around the holidays and as Christmas is my most favourite time of the year I was excited to read this short novella. Throw in a hot alpha who knows who he wants as soon as he sees her and I was in.

I found the main characters easy to relate too and I really liked them both. Nadia is a workaholic and I enjoyed how much Ajay’s attraction and care gave her the confidence to take a leap of faith and to find the happily ever after that she was didn’t even know she wanted.

I loved this book; I couldn’t get enough.
Ajay is a swoon worthy guy; he knew that he wanted to have Nadia in his life and stopped at nothing to prove that. He got this side out of her that was great to read because that was something that she needed for a long time.
Nadia’s life wasn’t filled with all the romance that you could ever ask for, so she had thrown herself into her work. Well that was until Ajay came around and they have an instant connection. After they meet at the company’s annual Jolly Hour.

This was a great rom com read for this time of year with Christmas right around the bend.

A holiday romance with a grumpy FEMALE? Yes please.

Nadia is all business and extra grumpy for the holidays. Ajay is sweet and fun and I loved his softness next to Nadia's hard demeanor. The way these two meet and connect instantly was so freaking HOT that I thought my Kindle might short circuit. This is a novella so there's Insta-Love, but it was sweet and I was here for it!

This is a quick, steamy read with great female friendships and some serious love at first sight.

I just love the jingle ladies. Nadia is just such a hard working gal and earned her way to the top. She really need to let go a little. I loved that she was a real girl type with issues and doubts about things and didn't want to sacrifice her hard work for a possible relationship. Thank goodness that Ajay did not give up on her. He just knew and was right there waiting on her. Cue the swoon!

Happy Holiday insta-love
4 stars

This is the second in a trilogy of Christmas insta-love stories by Melissa Williams. Each story stands completely alone although they all focus on a member of a bell ringing group called All My Jingle Ladies (I know, right? How fun!) and do have some crossover (that you wouldn’t even notice if you decide not to read all three books).

This story features uptight Nadia - someone who always puts work ahead of everything in her life. She doesn’t trust easily and isn’t really a cut-loose, let her hair down, kind of girl. So she’s as surprised as anyone when she heads down to her company’s Christmas Jolly Hour and instead of staying for 10 minutes, finds herself sipping way too many Christmas cocktails and getting it on with a sexy stranger.

Despite knowing each other a relatively short time, you definitely feel a connection between Nadia and Ajay and that translates delightfully into their sex scenes. This is an insta-love story but there’s definitely a distinction between how Nadia and Ajay react to those feelings. Nadia is understandably wary while Ajay is just delighted.

And that’s one of the main things I liked about Ajay. He sees Nadia and he is smitten. He’s happy he’s found his person and is looking forward to having her in his life. He’s still a strong, alpha man, but it was so sweet that he was so all-in. I liked Nadia, too, and was pleased she acted true to her nature but even happier that she found someone who understood her. The ending, too, was super cute and satisfying.

This was a sweet, fun and Christmassy story that delivers exactly what you want and expect from an insta-love tale. I’ve been enjoying Ms Williams’ stories of late - especially the way she weaves festive magic in with the hot romance. This is a book that will have you reaching for your own Christmas cocktail and handheld bell. 4 stars.

description

Nadia works as the Marketing Director for Battlements and is a pure workaholic. She is roommates with Libby Haider (Book 1 of the series) but compared to Libby, who adores and lives for Christmas, Nadia is the opposite.
Although Nadia does not hate Christmas (too much), she keeps the spirit and festivities to a minimum. She prefers to work during the holidays. Her other priority, aside from work, is being one of the "ringers" of All My Jingle, a holiday handbell ensemble group.

Ajay is a silent partner of the company Nadia currently works. He is also the CEO's brother, which complicates things to a whole new level in Nadia's world. Ajay is a hardworking entrepreneur and manages other businesses. He has taken a step back more recently to be able to enjoy the fruits of his success. One of his enjoyment is to pursue Nadia and show her how to celebrate Christmas.

When Nadia is forced to attend their company Christmas party, it was the best "forced-on" decision she could have made. Seeing Ajay across the room zoning on her was epic! The heat was coming out of the pages, and that was just the start. What follows after is a series of match-ups, hook-ups, and much more!

Ajay won me over hands down with his patient and persistent determination that melted the frigid heart of Nadia! Nadia starts realizing the sincerity of Ajay with what he wants to start with her. She slowly opens up to him. With this, Ajay tries his hardest to be Nadia's support, especially during the holidays.

Nadia, on the other end, has a few issues with continuing anything with Ajay. What happens the "day-after" and onwards is a series of adorable win-Nadia-at-all-cost scenes that will captivate readers. There is a lot of "insta-love" going around between Nadia and Ajay. Now, if only Nadia gets on the same page as Ajay and prioritizes her happiness versus what other people think, then HEA would have arrived sooner for both of them!

Overall, this novella series gets steamier and steamier as each book comes! The book may be short, but the connection and the steamy scenes are epic as a novel. The plot is fun, quirky, and an easy read. I did not expect that much chemistry to come out quickly and with just tethered looks, but it works!
This book is for readers who love meant-to-be characters, unexpected twists, and true love! It also shows that one needs an open mind and open heart to see the possibilities in front of them!
When my words sink in, his head turns to the tree, eyes wide in shock. The tree is now tilting to one side, my discarded tank top hanging off a branch.

Jolly Hour by Melissa Williams (Review)

"We're practically a gingerbread house! Brought together by sugary goodness and the high of the holidays, but in less than twenty-four hours we're falling apart."

Jolly Hour is the second instant love holiday romcom in the All My Jingle Ladies series.

Nadia is reminded of her company's 'Jolly Hour' and agrees to go for one hour. When she walks into the bar she can feel someone looking at her. Ajay spots Nadia the minute she walks in the door and knows right away that he needs to get to know her. After a fun night together, Nadia finds out the Ajay is her CEO's brother and flees. Not willing to give up what they have Ajay is determined to track her down and boost her holiday spirit.

Jolly Hour did not excite me nearly as much as Jingle Lady did. It felt more like a contemporary holiday romance than a holiday romantic comedy and I just did not get the connection between Nadia and Ajay.

Like the previous novella in this series, "Jolly Hour" by Melissa Williams had something of a Hallmark holiday movie vibe, but to me it was more of a straight contemporary romance than a rom-com. I enjoyed it, but didn't find myself laughing like I did while reading "Jingle Lady."

In "Jolly Hour," the romance between main characters Ajay and Nadia is a classic love at first sight story; Ajay saw Nadia walk through the door and instantly knew that she was the one for him. There wasn't much in the way of character or relationship development, which I kind of expected given the length of the novella, but I did like Nadia and found her insecurities to be pretty relatable. As for Ajay, while I didn't dislike him, he almost seemed to be too perfect to me. I think I would have liked him better in a longer story that allowed for more character development, in which he might have come across as more realistic and flawed.

Overall, while I liked "Jolly Hour," I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the first novella in the series. I didn't connect with Ajay and Nadia or feel their connection the same way I did Libby and Brendan's in "Jingle Lady." That said, it was still a cute story and I would recommend it for all fans of contemporary romance, particularly anyone who enjoys love at first sight stories. I look forward to the release of the third book of the series next week.

Melissa Williams knocked it out of the park, once again, with Jolly Hour. I devoured this book in a little over an hour and my only gripe was that I wanted more.

Nadia and Ajay were SO sweet. I love romances where the couples can "sense" each other...and that happened for both of them from the first moment.

Ajay was direct, open, and so swoony. He knew Nadia was it for him and went in full force. He made her own up to her own feelings, which is exactly what she needed.

Nadia lived a life lacking love. Dedicated to her job, she's thrown off balance when she develops some strong emotions for Ajay from the first moment.

Jolly Hour was a festive, super quick, steamy, sweet as pie romance about going after what (or who) you want and not fearing love. I'll admit I liked this story more than Jingle Lady. Even though it felt shorter, I simply adored both of these characters.

Nadia is busy practicing her bell ringing in her office for upcoming Christmas events when she is reminded about the staff Christmas party 'Jolly Hour'. Declaring that she'll stay for just an hour she heads down with a scowl on her face. Faking smiles as she heads to the bar when she suddenly feels someone looking at her.

Ajay spots Nadia walking into the bar immediately. Something about her makes him sit up and take notice and before he knows it he's up on his feet heading to the bar.

With Ajay by her side she gets drawn into the party spirit and they enjoy a fun evening. Before taking the fun back to his place, however, when she wakes up and realises who he is she flees. Not willing to loose her, Ajay tracks her down and they chat about everything including why she has no Christmas decorations up.

A festive novella that will have you wanting to visit a Christmas tree lot.

“I take a moment to take her all in. Her beauty, her strength, the fire that simmers just below the surface. I rub my chest, feeling my heart beat a little faster knowing she’s mine.”

This is a quick holiday read that will put you in the spirit of the season and praying that your work party is just as exciting! If you love instant attraction, steaminess, humor...then this is the book for you!

“...thought, for once, I had found a little magic. Instead, I fell for an illusion.”

Not everything is holly and jolly...some things can be too good to be true...or can they?!? Do you believe in love at first sight? Opposites attracting...workaholic vs slowing things down?

Jolly Hour by Melissa Williams is the second book in her All My Jingle Ladies series, and I ABSOLUTELY loved every single moment of it!
Nadia and Ajay were a HOOT!
Nadia is a bit it a workaholic and a grouch, yet let's herself get carried away with the festive season and spirit. She's feisty and sweet, and I loved how her character developed. She's a sweetheart, yet guarded, and I loved cheering her on from the sidelines!
Ajay is quite a character, and his confidence and charisma definitely had me SWOONING! He is so sweet and understanding but also can be commanding when necessary, and balances out Nadia so wonderfully!
If you're looking for a quick read that will absolutely leave you with a smile on my face look no further than Jolly Hour!
P. S. Now how long do I have to wait for Gretchen's story? Because I need it now, please and thank you!

Jolly Hour is another entertaining story about the Jingle Ladies who entertain me a great deal. Nadia & Ajay hooked up one night, and it was HOT HOT HOT, but she went on with her life while he decided that he's going to make her his so let the games begin. She's a workaholic while he's a man who knows what he wants from the jump, and has an in it to win it outlook, so you can only imagine how this will go. Well, I laughed a lot, and sighed over Ajay, while trying to yell at Nadia to look up from work & relax her guard. The head these two generate some serious heat that will keep you warm on a winter's night, and the Christmas magic will have you excited for the holidays so hit those one click buttons! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

BOOK REVIEW
Jingle Lady, Jolly Hour, Oh My Garland
by Melissa Williams
Thank you to @Greypromo for my gifted ARC in exchange for an honest review
Available now on Amazon

These three short novellas are not my usual romance read. They are pure fantasy. Couples falling in love in minutes, proposals within days, sex on the first date, and extremely vivid sex scenes.
.
I didn’t read them looking for a serious relationship, I wasn’t in the mood for delving into massive world building or a love to span across the ages... I wanted a down and dirty forget the world read that didn’t require a tonne of my brain power. These books gave me exactly that.
.
For me, the highlight was the connection of friendship between the three protagonists,. Best friends who have each others back no matter what .and make no judgments about their friends choices, true friendship.
.
In these books, Melissa gives the gift of happily ever afters for everyone.

“Jolly Hour” is Book 2 of Melissa Williams All My Jingle Ladies Series and I loved it so much!

Why you ask? Because it’s a
🎄Holiday Novella
🎄Kinda sorta office romance
🎄Has an element of the forbidden
🎄InstaLove treat!

Nadia’s not in a very festive mood when she meets sexy Ajay at the office Christmas party. The sexy as sin man, jingles all her bells and lifts her Christmas spirit - considerably!

Ajay is a man on a mission, make the sexy lady smile and give over her heart - swoon!

“Jolly Hour” is a deliciously sweet, sexy and festive romance and gets the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval. TBR and Enjoy!

Book two for the Jingle Ladies. And isn't this what we all want for Christmas? Someone who makes us feel like we are number one.
Ajay is another well mannered Alpha but not over the top male who knows what he wants the moment he lays eyes on Nadia.
Nadia however who is sure about everything in her life is not so sure after she finds out who Ajay is if she truly has everything she wants out of life.
As Ajay stays close always honest and interested in seeing her ring her bells Nadia will find her own Christmas spirit.
These books are fun and sweet and I can't wait to read book three.

I was given an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.

If you love a good Holiday filled, insta love romance Jolly Hour is for you.

Nadia, a member of All the Jingle Ladies, is enjoying her company holiday party when she meets Ajay. Things quickly escalate from there between them. There was an instant connection and it truly felt like love at first sight for them.

I loved Nadia and Ajay! Their chemistry was amazing from the start. I loved the slight overlap with book one in the series, only we get a little view of it from Nadia’s perspective.

Jolly Hour is full of Holiday goodness, some steamy romance, laughs and plenty of insane chemistry! A MUST READ!

Book 2 in the All My Jingle ladies series is a novella of holiday nakedness, boardroom hanky panky, instalove, and overall lustfest!

Nadia is the workaholic that goes to the office holiday party figuratively kicking and screaming. She is determined to have one drink and go, no games being played. However she meets the eyes of a stranger across the bar, and after a shot or two, she forgets her set rules.

Ajay knows what he wants as soon as he sees her. He wants to lighten up the buttoned up vixen he sees across the bar.

The chemistry is explosive, and they find their way together, even when some issues arise.

This is a perfectly adorable insta love story between Ajay and Nadia. They spend one night together following a works Christmas party and it is love at first peppermint shot. They have such great chemistry but Nadia has a lot of insecurity and emotional baggage. Ajay is romantic, confident, reassuring and somehow has a 6th sense of exactly what Nadia needs.

This Christmas novella is a sweet tale of acceptance, love, family and finding home. This is just the seasonal pick me up we all need to get this 2020 Christmas started. I cannot wait to find out more about the All My Jingle Ladies bell ringers in Jingle Lady and Oh My Garland!

Nadia isn’t one for attending office parties but with her new promotion she believes she should at least make an appearance. She wasn’t expecting to spend the night with a sexy stranger but finding out that he is her CEO’s brother is a complication she wants to avoid.

Ajay was enchanted by Nadia from the moment he saw her and isn’t about to just let her walk out of his life. He knows that they belong together and between his charm and the magic of the season he just needs to convince her.

Oh Jolly Hour was amazing and sweet and just squeeze worthy. Nadia is a hard worker and gets the job. She keeps to herself and loves her friends. When she get a promotion she knows she needs to attend the holiday party even if she doesn't want to. But to her surprise she has fun and meets a man that makes her feel things she shouldn't. When she finds out who he is she cuts it off. However Ajay isn't a man you say no to and he's got his eyes set on Nadia. He will do what he can to convince her. These two have insta-love written all of it and it was fun to see Nadia all flustered.

I received an arc in exchange for a fair review. This is the second books in All My Jingle Lady’s series and I love this series! Nadia is all business, focused and doesn’t know how to slow down. This is the second book in the series. This is a great holiday novella. Things move fast, but in a way that packs a punch with story. Ajay was very swoon worthy. Nadia didn't stand a chance because Ajay had me swooning. I loved watching Nadia find her love the holiday season again. This book shows how the magic of the season can work. Nadia and Jay have great chemistry that burns up the pages. I really can't wait for the next book in the series.

Jolly Hour is full of sugar and spice and everything nice.
With a bisecting timeline as Jingle Lady, we now get to see what Nadia has been up to.
We are once again surrounded by the feel good holiday spirit, now during the Jolly Hour - the dreaded Christmas office party.
With a sweet taste and a bit of a kick, this short read will leave you drunk on love and Holiday cheer.
