His work is often compared to that of Stephen King, Peter Straub and Dean Koontz, although Sharpe is complimented for his own distinctive style.
His novel Gebroken Geheugen (Broken Memory) – that he wrote together with the late Jos Weijmer – was nominated for the Harland Awards for best novel of 2015 and received an honorable mention for extraordinary originality. Eden was nominated for a Bastaard Fantasy Award 2016.
So far 10 novels and several short stories have been published in The Netherlands and Belgium. One of these, Eden, is translated to English, just like the first chapters of Broken Memory and a few short stories.
Sharpe has been a member of the GNM (Society for Dutch Crime Authors) since 2014.

The best resource in the market for a comprehensive book that breaks down the self-publishing process into simple steps. The book walks you through the process by mapping everything out and providing checklists. This is perfect for all indie authors learning the ropes of the self-publishing industry and highlights key things to do and avoid from personal experiences. I referred to this book often throughout my own publishing journey, particularly as I prepared for my own book launch. I have already recommended this book to other indie authors who want to follow their dreams of becoming a published author. Great resource!

Excellent resource for self-publishing authors!
This is an excellent book that details how to publish and market your book and if you are a new and aspiring author looking to self-publish, you need to get this book! It goes into great detail, step-by-step processes into everything related to producing a good quality book, cover, blurb, social media and marketing. I wish this book had been written earlier so I could have done it the right way!

Practical
I am planning to self-publish my first book in 2021. This book was full of very practical tips for a successful launch. I recommend this read to all new authors. Self-publishing is a huge trend but unless you have a guide you can easily get lost. “Publish” is your guide book. Pick a copy up today!

This book represents a simple yet efficient guide that outlines the self-publishing process from start to finish. While reading it, I found many useful tips and resources that I will use for publishing, marketing and promotion of my books.
