This is a commemorative collectible book which accompanies film director Peter Jackson’s remake and reissue of the Beatles’ 1970 documentary film of the making of the album “Let It Be,” which had originally been given the working title “Get Back.” It covers the band’s twenty-one days in the studio which lead to the release of the original film.
The book is mostly transcriptions of interviews with the band members and original photos from Linda Eastman McCartney among others. It will be savored by hard-core Beatles fans, who will be most appreciative of this large serving of band minutiae.
I received a brand-new copy of this book as a gift on 12/25/21.
