When Bethany Anne makes a promise, heavens and planets will be moved to keep it.

She swore to protect the Federation before taking the fight to the Kurtherians. Nine months into the tour, and the Federation is still vulnerable when Gödel strikes.

Renewed alliances bring the Federation together to fight the anti-Empire movement threatening its stability.

Some distance away, a world is being built for the Collectives.

Gödel’s agent has other plans.

Can the Rangers protect this new domain – Waterworld - until the Collectives arrive and can make the planet their home?

Secret identities, subterfuge, and surprises.

The twins’ continuing investigation collides with the Federation’s efforts to counter Gödel’s scheming. An unexpected team-up leads them into the heart of a Spy Corps operation.

Forced into a race against time, unraveling Gödel’s secrets is the one hope for them all.

I downloaded this in September 2020, three months ago, more out of habit rather than a desire to keep up with the story. I keep reading in the hope it will come to a conclusion.
There have been hundreds of different characters, AIs, Ships, Species and Locations spread over 30 volumes and the effort to keep track of it all has become a chore not the pleasure it was when I first started reading the books.
The stories work best when they concentrate on a limited number of characters, for example in this book Roka’s story was an interesting read.
I’m not sure how close this series is to actually reaching a conclusion and even if it is, I suspect the author might have another spin-off to keep it going in some form or another. I just hope I am able to ignore the next book.

It’s nice to catch up with characters and their interaction in the Kurtherian universe. Bethany Anne has to let go and see her children take on their own adventure. This is a real build up for the next great battle. Hopefully not too long to wait.

I loved this book, as I do with every single one I read, about Bethany Anne and Michael.

There was a huge amount of information to go through, with all of the complex planning stages of war going on, both in, and outside of, the Federation. Bethany Anne is determined to take the war to Gödel herself, and will stop at almost nothing to achieve her aim - so it's as well that she has a very strong, and active, sense of Honour, and Justice!

I loved this book, because it started drawing together all of the characters that I've got to know, and mostly love, from the whole of the Kurtherian's sets of series'.

I loved this book, for the small, and intimate, glances at BA & Michael's life together, where they try so hard, to keep up with the twins, and all the rest of their closest family and friends.

I loved this book, for all of the times that BA put her life on hold, in order to help someone else, whether she knew them, or not.

I love this book - but, for the very first time, I had to give it 4 stars, not 5 stars - because, as much as I love it, and enjoyed all those moments, it felt a little jumpy, a tiny bit rushed and, occasionally, a little bit confusing for me.

It's probably my own fault, but I was left feeling a little bit hurried along, as if there wasn't the time to savour the distances, and the disparate battles going on for the various characters.

I found myself feeling guilty, at giving a 4 star, instead of a 5 star review - and then I suddenly realised that these reviews should be made with total honesty, or how else will potential readers know what the truth is for the book?

So I'll end this review, with me saying, once again, that I loved this book, even with the tiny imperfections, and all!

I also go straight on the the next book in this series of the Kurtherian Endgame, book 10: The Bitch is Back! .

Promises Made, Plans Prioritized, People Shuffled

Bethany Anne and Michael are more than most humans, with an Artificial Intelligence, ADAM, and a disembodied alien being living on in Bethany Anne's mind. With the additional information and aid from family, extended family and friends , their core team binds together for Justice. Doing right for goodness and right. Fighting
Evil as they find it, giving those who are good the chance to learn to protect themselves and others from evil!
Many new friends are developed. The explored Kurhurian Gambit and Endgame are closing out some beginnings and setting up story lines that will keep us eagerly awaiting new books. Fast paced action, masterful weaving of scienfciction ideas and ideals.
Gratuitous cursing, but I have discovered in certain cataclysmic and life and death situations (that go on and on and on) gratuitous may become necessary. Where cursing bothers me on a visceral level, so does gratuitous murder, and mayhem. I appreciate the use of both where needed in fiction and in life.

Bethany Anne in action

The universe is getting more dangerous and the Kurtherians much more aggressive. To quote BA, . If Gödel wants to fight dirty, she’s going to see how dirty I can get when I’m all out of f@&ks to give. The technology is only getting better, the violence encompasses systems at a time, yet our hero still manages to handle it all while showing the heart that makes her the person to trust with the power to save us all. I love this series and hope everyone else does too.

Returning to Earth (spoiler alert)

This is the book setting up the return to earth. After all these years and all the work to protect earth from the Kurtherians it may all come crashing down.
I can’t wait for the next book in this series!! Love the development of the twins and the tempering of BA as she fights to find a solution for the compeled that does not include death.
So many Other story lines from this one character and her story. This is an amazing series and I am so grateful it has not ended yet.

Those sneaky Kurtherians...

Sneaky or not, BA will hunt them down! It’s a large universe, and BA needs her family and friends to pin down where Gödel and minions are lurking so she can destroy them, make Earth safe, and go back home.

Another action packed story with kicks and giggles along the way. The humour balances the darker themes, and the love and loyalty shown between characters is inspiring.

The End Game is drawing closer to the end of the Seven, and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

The War Rages On

BA is continuing the fight against the Kurtherians in her usual unique fashion. It is good to see the twins stepping up and working alongside their parents. It was also good to see some old friends reappear and some new ones we haven't gotten to read about yet. I'm looking forward to catching up with all the new books being written. This universe has been such an inspiration for me. Whenever I get discouraged at what is happening in my life I just channel my inner BA and get the strength to conquer my demons. Ad Aterintatum!

Love these books

I have read all the Kurtherian books with Bethany Ann. They are fantastic books.it’s been a great trip from Earth to space and back again them back to space. I’ve read some of the other books too they fill in some of the side storyline for the other characters which is pretty cool. There are all kind of other story’s to be told. I cant wait to see where you go and all of your friends. I’m enjoying all of your books in the Kurtherian universe. See you soon
Thanks again for your imagination

Exciting!

Fast paced well written story with non-stop action! These books are the kind you read through without stopping, because you have to see what happens next. And you can't guess! Well, you can try, but you'll probably be wrong. There are so many great characters and stories woven together, with everything else spot-on including the incredible ships, aliens, weaponry, and all else that created this wonderful world! It's a favorite that I'm so happy to have found.

Awesome. Just Awesome.

I went into this book with low expectations.

I thought it would follow one of the more cliche formulas, like the one where the good guys are winning but then some impossible seeming issue appears to cause their failure. But then they miraculously overcome the problem and win.

How many times have you read stories like that?

I won't spoil anything except to say, this story did not fall into any of the cliches I was expecting and it surprised me in a good way.

I loved the book from start to finish and can't wait to read more.

Closer and Closer!

BA is getting closer to finding Godel and we're given a chance to catch up with more than a few of our friends in this newest installment. Get ready for action and surprises (and I admit, a few tears) with Bethany Anne's latest chapter.
I loved Promises Kept and am eagerly awaiting the next chapter in my favorite saga. Thanks, Michael Anderle, for bringing my favorite character to life and for keeping me entertained with this wonderful universe!

Enjoyed Immensely

Finally we near endgame conclusion, it seems ages ago that this series started and how much Etheric Empire / Federation time has passed and the drawing of lines and build up of fleets is great action and kept me interested as yet again this ties into another expansion of the overall Kutherian universe.
Great reading although a timeline would maybe help and enjoying the artist reditions even more.

My heart swells!

So many of our favorites pop up in this book and it makes me so happy to see all of them! It really is breathtaking how a story about a few nanite enhanced vampires has become such a huge world with characters we have come to know and love through their own stories. BA is getting close to her goal while helping with others goals at the same time. So much going on, and so many fighting for the same outcome!

Love

I love your Bethany Anne Nacht stories. (Not sure if I spelled her last name right. 🙈 But I’m not looking back to the book to find out for sure, that would be cheating.) I’ve read all gambit, endgame, Michael’s messiah, and the twins books. I love them all. I am planning to get into of your other stories soon. Of all the books I have read in my life these are one of the best. Keep the roll going, Michael, you have a reader keeper in me.

Woot woot!

Kick buttocks and take names! For 35+ years Bethany Anne has been after Gödel and it looks like now they may have finally found her temple. All is not smooth sailing though. They found the a buttwad full,of cloned Chosen, the library of crystals but no Gödel. That insane old hag had something up her sleeve.
And now there are problems on Earth that require assistance. I’m ready to read these last 2 books…but I don’t want this story to end!

The battle continues

Very entertaining continuation of the storyline finding out about what some of the characters are up to along with New members joining the tale.
Getting close to finding out all the different groups of aliens will be discovered along with technology that can be way out there.

Keep The Books Coming

Good story, ending was not expected. The many characters are still interesting and I remember them all so I do not need the help in the front of the book. I would suggest to anyone interested in starting the series at book 1 to get all the background details.

Eagerly awaiting the next book!

More!

Another great one, what can I say? I’m excited to see that the series will continue onward. This book has certainly served to remind me that there are a few series that I still need to go back and read, as there are some characters whose stories I seem to be a bit behind on. Good! I need more KGU to read!

Time jumps

Time jumps seem disruptive in the story flow. When the battle is ready and everything changes confuses me. I have read almost everything you have written, it’s has been compelling. Time jumps break the wonderful story thread and destroys all the momentum. I don’t write and only read so take this with a grain of salt.

I enjoy the series

But will it ever have a conclusion. Truly, I've read so many arches and waited for the finale, and Bethany Anne is still suffering from eglomaniacs. Methinks author is sucking us dry from his publishing money making, instead of giving readers the satisfaction of Bethanny Anne and her family a well wrapped up ending.

Getting closer to an actual endgame

Bethany Anne is focused on the total elimination of Göedel and all of the evils she has forced upon innocent lives. The anti-Empire cultists are a distraction that is ruthlessly bent on luring weak minded people into its web so her people find ways to deal with them.

The Interdiction

This KU library selection is a great continuation of the series. Bethany Anne is making preparations for the war to come against the Kurtherians. Godel is a formidable opponent with a huge army of Ooken at her disposal. Book Ten is up next.

Ah!! My BA Fix

The gang's all here. BA, Michael, the twins, Tabatha, John, Nicki and more get together to bring the pain to the remaining Kurtherians. I like the action and humor. I look forward to the next book.
