The first volume was so nice and cute, but this spin-off is just meh at best. I'm originally not a big fan of the kind of well-rounded, "perfect" character, and the top in this story is just that type. I do get the always-calm-and-composed gentlemen losing his cool over love for the first time plotline. I mean I have nothing against it, but the romance here makes no sense. I don't get why the top fell in love with the bottom, and character development is almost nonexistent. The story feels empty and forced, especially when we know the background of the top from the previous volume. Did the editor put pressure on the author to make the top gay or what? Seriously, you don't have to make every friggin (hot) character in a BL gay.

I wish I hadn't read this, haaaah...
