Grab your chair, as all of the exciting stories in this trilogy meet in the Battle for Seattle, as Americans band together to drive out a blood-thirsty and ruthless enemy.
Navy veteran Austin Chambers took an early retirement from a naval shipyard to grow veggies in his new raised garden beds. He hosts a video channel for emergency preparedness called crossed Cannons Readiness. He and his lovely bride of almost 29 years live in Washington State with an awesome mouser named Combat Kitty.
Austin closed out the trilogy with a climactic finale. The book features a great story of two characters who share common ideologies and yet have completely opposing ideologies on other topics. The two go through a horrific experience together and Austin paints the picture that all who have been through something horrible together know, that you develop a bond unbreakable and "small" things don't matter as much.
Several scenes required alot of "technical" details to describe. One involves a UAV and a paraglider. The details Austin gave, painted a picture I was able to understand as someone who knew nothing about it. Another scene had a great hand to hand fight with weapons involved. As someone who loves that and has partaking in a few scraps - with weapon control being a thing - these were well done.
The ending comes with the regional battle to defeat the Cartel uniting all the area Posse's. I was saddened at the end only because the book was done.

New to the series, so I missed previous actions. This third book is packed with lots of action and unique spins in the genre. Well worth your time, especially if you are burned out in all the books that have come out about post cataclysmic life.
Read the trilogy on a few days. Liked the setting in spite of never having been there. Good character development, even the bad guys. Gotta pay attention to the “days after” chapter intros. Chapters overlap/circle about and meet up again. Clever, but got to pay attention. Never quite got why the military didn’t act sooner, but overall I enjoyed the story and will read more by the author.
With an amazing plot that takes you through twist and turns! Hands down can't read when you have something else to do. It drags you into a world of unknown. Definitely a page turner! Thank you so much for an amazing series I couldn't but down. Kept me up all night with this last book because I honestly couldn't put it down.
We all need to be more prepared for any and all challenges and this book series summarizes the challenges that face us all whether from natural or man made disasters. Well written and entertaining
A true book of action. What happens to America when she's on her knees? What do you do when there's no law, but lawlessness? Who will help our people? Find out in this thrilling story.
An addition to a informational series. Looking forward to the next installments. Apocalypse involving a volcanic eruption with China and Russia taking advantage.
Loved everything about this series. Well written with details to make you feel like you were in the story. If you are into preparedness, this will add another layer to think about. Well done.
About the only negative to this series is the use of flash back narratives. I, personally, hate flashbacks. They make stories harder read, to keep track of stories. But even with the flash backs, 3 great novels and well worth the time to read them.
The end of the three book “Cascadia Fallen” series concludes with a bang. All the players come together to stop the cartel that is threatening America. Many surprises pop up in this final volume, some bittersweet and others inspiring. Couldn’t put it down.
Enjoyed the series and am looking forward to the next series. Pretty dark subject matter but very entertaining. If you like prepper fiction this is good stuff.
Just too much hopping back and forth in the timeline for my likes. Still a nice adventure if you like zillion of characters and never knowing what day or year it is.
A fantastic and amazing 3 book series. Was hooked from the start in this exciting story of good and evil, struggles and hope. Very good ending and would highly recommend it. Have the tissues ready.
