This is such a fun mystery by one of my favorite cozy authors. It has wonderful charcters, great suspense and a well crafted sleuth that kept me guessing. I loved it and look forward to the next in series. Thank you to the author.

I'm no stranger to Sue Ann Jaffarian's writing, in particular her Odelia Grey mysteries. I've been following her on Facebook and vicariously enjoying her life. You see, Jaffarian retired from being a paralegal, bought an RV, and has been traveling the country, sharing her adventures in photos and prose along the way. When she mentioned her new serial novel Dead Woman Driving, I knew I had to read it.

I certainly wasn't disappointed. I was so engrossed in the story that the thirty-two pages flew by. Hope is going to be an interesting character. She's a good person, but since she's a graduate of the School of Hard Knocks, readers are never going to know what skills she has in her repertoire to confront anything her travels throw at her. Ozzie and his three-legged dog Punch were perfect companions for Hope.

Dead Woman Driving is going to be just the thing for readers who only have short periods of time in which to read. If each installment is around thirty pages, Jaffarian's intriguing storylines and well-developed characters are going to suck readers in and leave them waiting impatiently for the next installment. I know I am.

I listened to episodes 1-3 together so I will use the same review for all three. I love Sue Ann Jaffarian's writing; there's just something about it that grabs me right away and I don't want to stop until I am done with the story. This new serial is no different although it is a lot darker than the previous series I have read by her. I loved the characters and the direction the series seems to be headed. The added bonus of RV travel and outdoorsy adventures adds to the intrigue. I am curious about Hope's transformation and can't wait to see where it goes.

I received a copy from the author for an honest review.

As others have mentioned, this story is quite different than Sue Ann Jaffarian's novels. I adore the Odelia Grey series (a smart, large-sized paralegal who ends up involved in murders) and also enjoy the Granny Apple books (an Old West character ghost series).

This new short story series introduces Hope. She is a disaster of a woman who gets a fresh start.

I look forward to more stories in this series.

This is different than Sue Ann’s other work and I really liked it. Can’t wait for the next installment. Excellent storyline.

I love Sue Ann’s Granny Apples series, I like the Odelia books and even her romance series was enjoyable.

I think this will be her best work.

Can you tell I’m a fan?

Excellent beginning to a new series

Sue Ann Jaffarian has created a fascinating premise for an ongoing story/series, drawing on her experience as a full time RVer. It is an exciting beginning, with a comp!ex and interesting main character. I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to the next installment.

First chapter or short story

As in all of her books, this is well written but very different from her other series. It could be considered a short story but is the first installment in a new novel, that will be released over time. I am already hooked and cannot wait to find out what happens next.

Hooked on the mysteries!

To review this short novella, I must say I’m a fan!

I’m impressed with the details of how she has developed the characters, their backgrounds, and the detailed specifics making sense for the reader to be engaged and follow along as an actual life event.

This is a beautifully written, captivating novella for an aspiring writer with a schedule, and I can fit this into my day. I'm looking forward to following novels with anticipated glee.

Dead Woman Driving

This is the story of a young woman who escapes from a drug dealer and with the help of her rescuer, transforms herself. Good characters, good editing and a good story to start the first episode. Recommend this story.
