INTO THE CLEAR WATER: Is a full length, stand alone romance novel by B. Celeste. In this we meet Piper and her wee guardian Ainsley, Easton and Carter.

❝ With him, I rise from the depths I've been drowning in for all these years and feel like I can breathe again. No longer afraid of what lingers in the murkiness, I step into the clear water and let all the pain wash away.❞

Thank you B. Celeste for kicking my isolation blues to the curb! This book brought me out of the murky clouds into sunshine, god how I loved this book. All the feels! I never wanted this to end, once started I never put it down! This author has come such a long way from her first book of hers I read, to this book right here that fast became one of my favourites of hers.

Piper is a young twenty-six year old single parent who was left guardianship of a young wee Ainsley, who on the fatal accident of her parents hasn't uttered one word (select mutism). Her father 'Danny' was Piper's best friend since childhood.

Twenty-eight year old Easton is Piper's hot tatted up roommate, he doesn't say much but when he does you sit up and take notice, he's swoon worthy and dependable. His character wrung out all the feels.

Then meet Carter, an older fox, he's a blast from the past, and used to be Piper's man candy crush when she was younger when he was kicking around with her older brother and Danny. He's now her new Professor. Piper becomes his teaching assistant.

90234369-2632996293689392-5075040142725480448-o

Many will dislike where this book takes us, a near triangle of sorts, even though none were stepping out of relationships, something like this had to happen to make Piper realise where her heart truly lay, otherwise the two involved would've been like ships passing each other in the night, we're not perfect, the books we read aren't either and that is why I loved this book so much. Otherwise this would've become like another run of the mill romance book, the author took a risk and for me it paid off, those feels came at me out of nowhere. How this ended i've crossing everything that we get more!!

Full of feels
Full of angst

I loved who she chose in the end!! He was my pick from the get go!! Loved this, highly recommend.

Piper Montgomery never expected her life to be flipped upside down. As a student, she went from worrying about assignments to worry about how she was going to make through life with an unexpected added responsibility. And it all acerbated by the presence of two individuals that not only brought comfort, but also complications she could use without.

On a certain aspect, I did not envy Piper’s life. She was burdened by a difficult situation and took it gracefully. But some things that made me want to shake her. Among the other two main characters, I immediately fell in love with one. His past and personality were very alluring to me. The other one was rational and understanding.

“And you know what? Life is full of chances, Piper. You never know what will happen.”

I chose to read this one because of the potential angst and feels. I’m glad to confirm the story delivered what I needed. While I thought the ending was too easy, there we plenty of aspects in the story that wrung out my emotions the way I like it.

Into the Clear Water is a story of letting go of the past. It would appeal to readers who enjoy an emotional romance.

I’ve been on B.Celeste’s writing journey for a while now and I can honestly say that this author gets better with every book that she releases. We see the growth and the depth of every character that she gives us and her writing style just seems more and more effortless.

Into the Clear Water gives us the story of Piper who is a young single mom that is doing everything she can to provide a good life for her and her daughter. Now in her last semester of College, Piper is almost to the finish line of having the career that she wants as a teacher and nothing can make her more happy than her daughter. But her personal life is about to get complicated when she has not one, but two good men who wants nothing more than to be in her life permanently.

I have to say that when I first started this book, I had no idea that this was going to be a love triangle per se. I don’t really have a problem with them but they do make me extremely nervous and my heart gets so invested in one of the heroes that I will find myself biting off my nails until the very end. Going into this one, I knew my choice from the very beginning and I was more than ok with it. Someone was going to get hurt regardless and I tried my best to brace myself for the outcome of it and just accept what was to come.

giphy-56.gif

Piper was a strong heroine and I loved her drive and determination for trying to provide a good life for her and her daughter. I also loved seeing her mama bear side and the love that she displayed all around. This was a woman that had a rough couple of years and she passed through it with as much grace as anyone could have in that situation. There were some moments when I became disappointed in some of her decisions and I wanted nothing more than to shake her, but I think that she had to make her own mistakes and learn from it.

If you’re a fan of emotional love triangles and strong heroine characters, then this one is for you.

Six years ago, Piper Montgomery’s life irrevocably changed when she lost her best friend. Becoming a single mother was a transition, as she sacrificed her education, but Piper is back on track. However, because Piper is still tied to her past, she must learn how to see what’s in her present.

“People subconsciously attach themselves to things from the past. It’s their way of holding on to pieces of their old selves.”

As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that Piper is a fighter and has risen to challenges, but she is stuck when it comes to her heart. To dig under the surface, Easton begins to show Piper true kindness and his observant yet broody demeanor is sexy as all hell. Together the steam factor is palpable.

“I know what you want. Just like I know what you sound like when you come, what it feels like when you squeeze my cock with that tight pussy of yours, and how loud you get when you don’t have to hold back.”

Going into this book, I was unaware of the triangle dynamic and immediately the angst of the situation sets hold. From the start, I loved Easton’s natural way of quietly giving to Piper and Ainsley. As such, there were times when I wanted Piper to make certain realizations sooner. I adored the relationship between Piper and Ainsley and also the dudette and Easton. While I also liked Carter and felt for him, Easton was the one for me. All these circumstances definitely led to some serious page turning.

Into the Clear Water is a romance about breaking patterns and taking chances. This book would appeal to those who want to be immersed in a story with angst and emotion.

{IT'S LIVE!!!}

"Life is full of chances, Piper. You never know what will happen."

This story was so beautiful, even though heartbreaking...
It was antsy as hell and even though it had a calm pace, it had me on the edge of my seat for most of the time...
Yep, in here there was a love triangle and i literally hate these kind of things, but the author managed to deliver it really smoothly for most of the part...
But still, from the very beginning i had picked side and that had me sitting on pins and needles through out the whole book...
My heart was aching for Easton, Piper, Ainsley and Carter.

"I'm conflicted.
About life.
About love.
About them."

Well, Piper is a fighter....
Before three years, she felt the loss of the person that she loved mostly in her life and with that loss, they came responsibilities to her that she couldn't ever imagine in the form of a little girl...
And even though, things weren't great for a while, she still managed and i loved her determination to get through life as a college student-single mom...
The only problem with Piper is that her heart and mind is emotionally stuck on the past!!!!
Add to that two gorgeous and wonderful men so opposite between them... and you will have... chaos!!!

"I'm drowning. Drowning in my indecision and pain, wondering if I'll survive if I submerge myself under the murky waters of my consious. I want freedom from the pain that shoots through me like a drug in my bloodstream. I need clarity.
Just once."

Easton is her gorgeous tattooed roommate... A quiet and broody man who is keeping his distances even though he and Piper are sharing some intimate moments together from time to time... They're just having a clean and cut out arrangement after all...
But lately, Easton is starting to change... He is being more there for Piper and Ainsley....
But Piper is feeling awkward with this change of heart... And i can add that she is almost blind!!!

"Easton and I are a lot alike.
In pain.
Needing comfort.
Wanting to escape the reasons why."

Carter from the other hand is a man from Piper's past...
A man with whom she has a big age gap and nowadays is her professor...
At the beginning, Piper is trying to keep her distances from him, cause she is still having a beef toward him from something that happened in the past, but as the time is passing by they are easily becoming friends for once again...
And maybe something more than that???

"Hope that this is enough.
Hope that this turns into what I want.
Not an escape. Love."

Well, this kind of things are very difficult for me to witness, but in a strange way, I believe that the author approached this gentle matter with a respectful way...
But still, my heart broke over and over again... My heart was given to Easton from the first moment, and i wanted him to be the one...
I loved how he was speaking without using words and i hated that Piper was too stuck on the past to realize what he was saying to her...
I also loved how he was with Ainsley, his dudette....
Don't get me wrong, Carter was also a wonderful guy, but what can i say??? I'm a sucker for tattoos!!! LOL!!!

"I used his body to forget the pain until the line we drew was buried under muddied water. But I don't want to forget. I want to remember... In the depths of my mind, Carter would get me that. But it would take something else from me.
Something that Easton already has."

I believe that this story was a difficult journey for Piper to let the past go and both these man helped very much in that...
Piper needed a fresh start and someone to unconditional love her in romantic way...
I just wish that she would have avoid some certain things, but hell... I can live with that!!!!
This story was so wrong, but it ended to be right.

"With him, I rise from the depts I've been drowning in for all these years and feel like I can breathe again. No longer afraid of what lingers in the murkiness, I step into the clear water and let the pain wash away."

“I lost myself when I lost you.”
Terrence Loves You – Lana Del Rey

What’s this book about? (I'm trying to give as little spoilers as possible)
She thought she’d only love once. Her heart broke when Daniel McGray got married to another woman and had a baby with her. Her heart was shattered when he faded away.
She thought she couldn’t love again until she met them.

“Lies can buy eternity.”
Music To Watch Boys To – Lana Del Rey

B. Celeste knows how to work the waterworks. This was an angsty read from page one to the epilogue. The author knows exactly how to push a reader’s buttons. I related to a lot of the subjects treated in the story. Things that Piper went through resonated with me. I don’t condone some of her actions; probably because I was raised in a Greek household and some of the things Piper did were way TOO modern. But as I read on, I stopped judging her for it. I had a favorite and I was glad that my fav go the girl in the end (I won’t spoil it). I liked East; he had his broody mysterious guy moments that were ALL THAT. He wasn’t as charming with words as Carter, but that was his appeal at the same time. I liked Carter; he earned my respect and admiration. Piper’s complicated history with Carter and the rest of the people that have contributed to her current situation was heartbreaking. Piper already was a momma bear at the start of the story, but she brought out the lioness by the end. I admired and rooted for her so much. She had moments in which she SNAPPED. Normally, I don’t really pay that much attention to epilogues. They usually just exist to give an afterthought. THIS EPILOGUE, HOWEVER, HAD ME SCREECHING. My baby… I STAN THIS SHIP SO HARD.
I recommend this story to people who love an emotional read, gut-wrenching character situations and second chances. *also: this is in some ways a love triangle

Wow. I felt like this was a really heartbreaking story and got teary-eyed a few times. I don’t know why I waited to read this because I absolutely loved B. Celeste’s other books, The Truth About Heartbreak and The Truth About Us

Piper was in love with her best friend from childhood, Daniel, but he never loved her back in that way. He got married to Willow, had a daughter, Ainsley, and his wife died during childbirth. A few years later, Piper and Daniel sleep together and he leaves her apartment saying what happened between them was a mistake. Piper begged him not to go, he left, and got into an accident due to the storm. He died and since Piper was Ainsley’s godmother, she got custody of the three year old.

Ainsley became selectively mute and Piper tried her best to take care of her. She got a roommate, Easton, and they eventually had a “roommate with benefits but don’t talk about it” sort of thing.

Carter comes into the picture. He’s Piper’s older brother’s friend from childhood, who was also sort of friends with Daniel too. He was 10 years older and now so happens to be her professor.

You can see where this is going....

Honestly, I felt so heartbroken for Piper with her love for Daniel. I felt how devastated she was, both about Daniel’s death, the fact that she loved him for the longest time, that she couldn’t move on, that he said their night was a mistake, everything.

I also felt heartbroken about Carter. I was so sad for him at the end. God.... I want his story now. I want to see him have a happy ending.

All in all, this was a great read and the epilogue hinted toward a possible book between Ainsley and Milo. PLEEEEEASE write that book. I need more!!!!!

Great read! I love it and I love how B. Celeste navigates towards character development which made me drawn to each one of them. In the process it made me fall in love not just with her tale and the characters but also with her writing. Won't definitely be my last read of this author.

Decent story about a woman dealing with grief & loss and learning what love is. The blurb is a little misleading because this story takes place after Daniel and the connections were a little bland for me.

B. Celeste is new author to me and, based on GR info, newest author with debut novel released in April 2019. She has amazing writing style, brilliant storyteller with rich and deep words. I was amazed by her words immediately and I was wondering if this could be my new favourite author.

First 50% were great, I loved Piper and her interactions with Easton and Carter. I don't have any problems with triangles, in this story you won't find any real cheating, so my 3* rating doesn't have anything to do with it or guy she ends up. She even ends up with a guy who my bet was on! So this was totally fine by me.

Here my praise ends. This is my own opinion, obviously in minority, because I don't find Piper strong heroine at all. First she was just messed up and confused 26 years old girl who is searching her place under the sun. Than Piper became so annoying, she was too caught up in Denny, her dead best friend who she secretly loved from forever. Than everything else became too much: flowers for Valentine Day - how would flowers end in the house if they would be from Carter?; Ainsley also had dead mother but soothing words to her were only about her father; almost all characters in book had dead mother. This was really ridiculous.

After 50% story started dragging, it could be much shorter and not everything explained in details, all relationships solved and polished to the perfection. Definitely HEA with over the top sweetness. At the end I was sooooo disappointed, nevertheless my guy was the winner he didn't feel like a winner anymore.

My 2nd and LAST read with this author.
My first read with her was also terrible.
Lesson learned, no more.

DNF+skimfest for this poor excuse of a "heroine" 🤡
- Pathetic gurl hung up with her unrequited puppy love, dead Daniel.
- F* with roommate Easton here and there.
- Slow-burn emotional relationship whatever with Carter, an ott doormat guy, family friend, old crush, professor.
- Boring fillers.
- Near the end of this garbage book, gurl f*ed the ott doormat guy Carter.
Dirty bits on page. 🤡
- Right after, gurl finally realize she wasn't really into Carter, a mere plot device to cause jealousy drama, and also a plot device to scratch her itch while she and Easton are on break after a "jealousy" fight.
- Since her dirty fantasy with the ott doormat Carter is finally accomplished, she's done with him🚮, and she's also done pining over a ghost.
- Gurl's suddenly soo IN LOVE🙄 with Easton, also a doormat who put up with gurl's sht.
- Not even the cute little character could make me like the gurl.

- HEA 🤡

So while I overall enjoyed this book, there was one issue that bothered me and that was the love triangle. If you want to even call it that considering there was literally no chemistry with the other guy. But she still sleeps with him and right after realizes she didn't feel any love ? Yeah no shit. Shitty thing to sleep with him while the right guy hasn't been sleeping around and made it obvious he wants you. It took sleeping with someone else for her to realize she's wanted the other guy all along.
THAT. BOTHERED. ME.

INTO THE CLEAR WATER was a love triangle of sorts, but there was only ever one clear winner in my eyes (my heart always fluttered madly whenever he spoke, and I just adored him)
I do love B Celestes writing style and characters, and this book is no exception. Completely devoured the story, but was left feeling slightly let down by the epilogue...although, I’m hoping that it ended as it did in order to pave way for an Ainsley and Milo story...fingers crossed!! 🤞🏻

4 Feelings Stars ⭐️

This book was such a surprise to me , It’s not my first time reading this author so I went into it knowing exactly what to expect , amazing storytelling that drags you down , I love this author writing cuz her books are everything but never boring.

In this story in particular we have a love triangle very well done , cuz you have no clue who our main character Piper is going to choose , for me she steal the show cuz I was 100% invest in her story and specially her background that was such well construct , Piper is a vey strong and Independent woman I really enjoy reading about her , Ainsley her daughter completely got me but make me curious at the same time.

BEST EPILOGUE EVER !!! IF YOU ARE a The truth about tomorrow & Us fan❤️

This story is packed full of angsty, heartrending romance at its best. B. Celeste drags you into the story where I was totally ready to be charmed and to swoon over the charismatic addictive characters which are written from the heart. Totally told in Pipers POV, this story had me biting my fingernails in anticipation of who will win Piper's heart.

Piper is such a fascinating character to get to know/ Although she has known a great tragedy in her life she is one strong determined woman who holds a lot of guilt and is still grieving for a boy she has loved forever.

When two men enter her life she finds herself with choices to make which at times are heartrending to read. This is a love triangle story where the two men in question are total opposites. Easton her roommate, the broody, moody tattooed man who finds it hard to express his feelings; you can literally taste the pain that radiates from this man. Then there is Professor Carter Ford who is a blast from Piper's past and so much easier to relate to.

All the characters are flawed in some way and have a story to tell from their past; this is what makes them so interesting to read about. I certainly knew which man had me hooked in this wonderful story.

Going into a B. Celeste book is inwardly preparing yourself for the barrage of emotions this author always brings to the stories she writes. This story slowly broke my heart into tiny pieces only to put them all back together with the most poignant epilogue that bought tears to my eyes. Phenomenal storytelling from this talented author and another must-read.

(ARC Provided in Exchange for Review)
So B. Celeste has slowly become one of my favorite authors this year after reading The Truth About Heartbreak so when I received an ARC for her new release I was over the moon excited to read it.
This was a little different compared to the book I just mentioned but it delivered on the emotional levels that the other one had as well
I don't want to say too much because I feel like this is one of those stories that people should go in blindly without reading the blurb, but I will say that I absolutely loved the family dynamic that Piper had with Ainsley and just their whole story had my heart in pieces.
I just wanted Piper to be happy and things just seemed to always go wrong for her and her journey from the first chapter to the very end had me in tears, I saw so much of myself in her and I just wanted to give her a hug
Once again another amazing book from B. Celeste and I, of course, am excited to read any new book that she comes out with from this point forward

This is the third book I have read from this author and I adore her writing and her storylines. Her books are full of angst and always deal with deliciously forbidden themes.
I adored the characters she presented us with in this book. Piper was a strong heroine, doing whatever she could for her daughter. I adored Easton; he was my favorite character in the book. I adored his chemistry with Piper and his way with Ainsley.
So why the 3 Stars? Because there is a triangle here that felt totally unnecessary to me. It felt lukewarm and I only rooted for one of our guys in this story. There was no question which team I was in. And that is not something that usually makes me happy when I read a triangle themed book. I felt like the story could have been amazing without it so yeah. So I enjoyed the book but that particular subplot didn't do it for me.
All in all, I liked this book but it was not my favorite from this author. I cannot wait to read more from her.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 𝟓/𝟓 𝓞𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓪𝓵𝓵 𝓡𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰: Love triangle, angsty romance, love and lost, May to December romance, Into the Clear Water by B. Celeste , has a little bit of EVERYTHING! An intensely emotional, angsty love triangle romance that will leave you with all the feels! Are you ready for an emotional roller coaster? Because that is what you will get with Into the Clear Water ! In Into the Clear Water we follow along with Piper as she struggles to care for six-year-old Ainsley while also trying to complete her education, heal her still broken heart, and find love.

Piper has carried the guilt of their last moments every single day. Never truly getting over the loss. Now she has not one but two men vying for her attention. But it’s not just her she has to think about, it’s Ainsley too.

B. Celeste is a phenomenal author. I have been completely obsessed with her words ever since I read The Truth about Heartbreak , and she continues to blow me away time after time. I have no idea how she does what she does but coming from someone who very RARELY cries while reading, the tears just continue to roll as I read her words. Into the Clear Water was an amazing read and the only thing that could have made it better was dual POV, but obviously, with the love triangle aspect, it would have been too telling.

💙 (𝓗) 𝓗𝓮𝓻𝓸: We have not one but TWO leading men in Into the Clear Water . Two very different men. Two very different circumstances but both are extremely important to the story, and to Piper’s, what I would call recovery.
❝𝑇𝑤𝑜 𝑚𝑒𝑛.

Easton Wyatt is Piper’s sexy, broody, tattooed roommate with a troubled past. Easton is a quiet guy who doesn’t say much, but his actions scream what he can’t say. I am #TeamEaston ALL THE WAY! The way he is with Ainsley is what did me in. He adored his little Dudette and she adored him.

Carter Ford was best friends with Danny and Piper’s brother. He was also Piper’s first crush who is now her professor. Carter is older, dependable, understanding, and ready to settle down.
❝𝐼𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒?”

Two very, very different men. But both are willing to give Piper the world. But only one is met to be her world.

❤️ (𝓱) 𝓗𝓮𝓻𝓸𝓲𝓷𝓮: Piper Montgomery is an amazing heroine. Although there were several moments where I wanted to beg her to open her dang eyes, the love that shined through for Ainsley… She may not biologically be hers’s but Ainsley is her daughter and she fought tooth and nail for that little girl. Everything she did was for Ainsley and I admired Piper more for it. Into the Clear Water was really Piper’s story. Don’t get me wrong, we learned a bit about the leading men as well, but Piper and her journey to self-discovery, forgiveness, and moving on was the true journey.

🔥🔥🔥 𝟑/𝟓 𝓢𝓽𝓮𝓪𝓶 𝓕𝓪𝓬𝓽𝓸𝓻: The steam was a little low on this one for me. Don’t get me wrong there are surely some “melt your Kindle” steamy scenes but the book was more emotional than spicy if that makes sense.

🌪 𝓒𝓵𝓲𝓯𝓯𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓰𝓮𝓻 𝓦𝓪𝓻𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰: Piper’s story wraps up beautifully. Although I’m not going to spoil it, I will say that she winds up with EXACTLY who I thought she should from the very beginning, although I hope one day the other man gets his own happy ending… Piper was able to come to terms with her past and look forward to the future. Although there isn’t a cliffhanger, we do get a glimpse of Ainsley and Milo. I have a feeling I am going to adore their story and that Milo is going to be one heck of a leading man one day…

This is the second book I've read from this author & I become a bigger fan of her work as each story deeply touches my heart. After the death of a dear friend, Piper is awarded guardianship of his three year old daughter. Three years later, this sweet little girl hasn't uttered a single word since the death of her daddy. Struggling with school as she pursues her Masters in history, Piper juggles her time between the little girl she loves & adores, her very attractive roommate & a professor whom she has known since her childhood. Sometimes her life appears to be a complete mess, her feelings are muddled & making the right decisions for everyone in her life is draining & sometimes perplexing.
I loved each & every character in this story, with two favorites that brought out the feels & had me wringing my hands with hope that they would find happiness.
A love triangle may come to mind for some readers, but it is fleeting & never crosses the line to cheating. The problem is the heroine who is just trying to sort out the feelings from the past for one man & whether to take a chance on the man in her present. I was hoping Piper would finally see through the mist & choose the one that lifted her spirits as well as her heart. And yay, she does!
I have read a few books that I never wanted to end & this is one of them. This author just fills me up & I look forward to another one of her stories.

If you have read Underneath The Sycamore Tree by B.Celeste, then you will have been briefly introduced to Piper, the heroine of this book, Into The Clear Water.

Piper has found herself the guardian of her best friend Danny's daughter, after his passing.
Both Piper and Ainsley daughter are still grieving, and still trying to find their way through this world, in such a cruel reality. Ainsley has refused to speak since the loss, and Piper is struggling to grieve, all the while doing her best to provide for Ainsley.

This book has a mix of forbidden involved, the tropes included are roommates, age gap, professor/student...etc. &B.Celeste doe as brilliant job of having these two men in Piper's life, who are vastly different, and each provide Piper's life with something a little bit different....but something that she needs.
Professor Ford(Carter) has been a part of Piper's life for a while, and there is a comfortability there. Easton is closer to Piper's age, along with being her roommate. He is spectacular with Ainsley, and while he has his moments, I cannot lie to you, I was rooting for him from the start.

I loved how real Piper's emotions were. B.Celeste did such a great job giving such a realistic portrayal of what it would be like for someone with Piper's reality. She works so hard to provide Ainsley with a good life, all the while being so unsure about what their future would look like. There were so many moments that while, even though I couldn't relate to the situation itself, I could relate to the emotions that they were going through themselves. &Recognizing what it is like to feel those emotions, helped me connect with her character even more.
While I was rooting for Piper and Easton to be together, I was also rooting for Piper to find herself, find healing, and find a way to keep pressing on, providing Ainsley with the life she deserves.

When you go into a B.Celeste book, you always know that you are going to feel. She just has such a magnificent way of showing realistic emotions, and has perfected demonstrating true growth in her characters. Her stories are always going to dig a little deeper, and leave you feeling as if you learned something new, or even became a better person. You are always guaranteed with seeing something from a different perspective, and having to put yourself in the characters shoes for a moment. &I have finished all of her books with a different outlook on certain situations.

If you love a read that will connect with you on a deeper level, a read that will grab your attention, one that you cannot help but relate with in some way...that provides an amazing romance/love story, along with steam, fun banter...and gorgeous book boyfriends that you will want to be real....then pick up Into The Clear Water today. I think you will find yourself more than happily surprised, with a new author you are going to want to stalk!

"You deserve to know what happiness feels like."

Into the Clear Water is heartbreakingly painful, soul crushing beautiful. B. Celeste has delivered another book that has left me ugly crying and needing a glass of wine. Piper's story is raw, gritty, and emotional. It's her struggle and journey to find herself and herself worth.

B. Celeste has a way with words that just seems to make me feel more. I felt Piper's pain right down in my soul. I wanted to hug her and tell her everything will be okay while also wanting to slap her across the face and tell her to open her eyes. Piper watched the man she thought she loved meet, marry, have a child with another woman, and then die. Then she carried the guilt and pain of the last words that were spoken between them everyday from that night now. My mom always told me don't say something to someone you'll regret, those could be the last words you ever speak to then. And although Piper wasn't the one who said the words that changed her life forever, she's the one who had to carry the weight of those words with her forever.

Piper's belief that she didn't deserve happiness and couldn't love is what made her journey so painful. Everything she wanted and deserved was right in front of her she just couldn't admit she deserved it.

Piper is a born mother. Ainsley may not be her blood but Piper would die for that little girl. Watching her defend Piper just made me cry happy and sad tears. Happy tears because they both had someone to love them unconditionally, and in sadness because that little girl didn't deserve any of that. Ainsley could not have asked for a better godmother, guardian, second mother. Piper struggled and suffered and did it all for that little girl without a second thought.

In the end I think Piper's story ended just like it should have. She found her peace with her past , a present she loved, and a future to look forward to. She found the love and happiness she didn't think she was capable of feeling or deserved. Her journey was messy, and broken, but it was her's.

And it has to be sad again, Milo is going to be something amazing. I cannot wait for his and Ainsley's story.

Into the Clear Water is another heartbreaking 5 star read from B. Celeste.

If you have been following B. Celeste since the very beginning of her writing journey, then you have experienced firsthand how far she has grown as a writer with each new release. Just when you think you have her writing style all figured out, she does a complete 180 and surprises you with each new twist and turn that she throws your way. Her passion bleeds through the pages and you feel it all through your bones. Oh, and let's not forget those awesome Easter eggs she's been slipping our way in her past releases. Getting an inside look at future characters helps you to develop a deeper connection with them early on!

Into the Clear Water by B. Celeste was a beautifully breathtaking and emotionally heartwrenching love story that will have you clutching your chest as you inhale all of the words of this angsty love triangle of sorts. There was a raging fire ignited deep in my soul and it hasn't let up since finishing. Piper Montgomery's heart is in a battle as she must decide who she is destined to be with and my goodness did I feel like I was right there beside her trying to make the right decision myself. Let me just say I was NOT disappointed with her choice one bit and I hope you all are with me on that!

Piper's journey is emotionally gripping and you will be there every step of the way as she must make one of the most important decisions of her life and follow her heart. The chemistry between Piper and Easton AND Piper and Carter is addictively captivating and I just couldn't put this story down because I needed to know who she ended up with. There was the perfect combination of forbidden romance from that love triangle to that student/professor relationship to that unrequited love. There is just so much to love!
