Don’t miss the second instalment of the breathtaking and best-selling Prime Legacy series. Discover a love destined to leave a legacy.
Tamar really struggled writing this bio, in part because it’s in third person, but mostly because she hasn’t decided whether she’s primarily a psychologist who loves writing, or a writer with a lifelong fascination with psychology.
She must have been someone pretty awesome in a previous life (past life regression indicated a Care Bear), because she gets to do both. Beginning her career as a youth worker, then a secondary school teacher, before becoming a school psychologist, Tamar helps children and teens to live and thrive despite life’s hurdles like loss, relationship difficulties, mental health issues, and trauma.
As lover of reading, inspired by books that sparked beautiful movies in her head, Tamar loves to write young adult romance. To be honest, it was probably inevitable that her knowledge and love of literature would translate into writing emotion driven stories of finding life and love beyond our comfort zones. You can find out more about Tamar’s books at www.tamarsloan.com
A lifetime consumer of knowledge, Tamar holds degrees in Applied Science, Education and Psychology. When not reading, writing or working with teens, Tamar can be found with her husband and two children enjoying country life on their small slice of the Australian bush. The driving force for all of Tamar’s writing is sharing and connecting. In truth, connecting with others is why she writes. She loves to hear from readers and fellow writers. Find her on all the usual social media channels or her website.
Not many authors can pull off a spin-off series well, but Tamar Sloan has proven herself worthy. I loved the Prime Prophecy series and I'm loving the Prime Legacy series just as much, if not more! In this instalment, Hunter and Ava face a new threat to the dwindling wolf population they've been fighting so hard for. It's a test of many things, including their new-found connection. I've been a fan of Sloan's writing from the very start. This novel is a reminder of why I fell in love with her stories and prose in the first place. Highly recommended for fans of Twilight.
This is the second book in the series and it's even better than the first. The story really draws you in as things between Ava and Hunter, the poachers, and with the virus all heat up. While Hunter and Ava have accepted their legacies, there are still secrets threatening their bond. The poachers have stepped up their attacks, there is still no answers about the virus, and decisions both past and present threaten to destroy both Ava and Hunter's faith in the future. Some new characters get voices in this story which only adds to the overall plot as you discover more of what is going on. But while things look dire at times, don't give up on this pair yet because they discover that together, amazing things are possible. At the end of the story, it left me anxiously waiting for the final book to find out how things will play out in this amazing world.
This is a Fantastic series. This is the second book I also read the first. Hunter and Ava will there love survive. There are alot of hurdles they have to get through. This is fast paced and action packed. It has you on the edge of your seat. If you love wolves you will love this read. This read is way up the when it comes to the Supernatural. A definite must read. This was my favourite so far out of all the books in the Prime Prophecy and Prime Legacy series. The author has set the bar very high for the final instalment - a book I can't wait to read! Full of action, full of heart and full of clever twists, I thoroughly enjoyed every page of this magical tale. And what an ending!!
The second book in the story is just as good as the first. It starts off with a nice hook to keep you wanting more and enough to get you through to the final book. There's a bit more drama as the pair tries to do things separately vs as a couple and it usually doesn't work out because they are stronger as a pair.
I usually LOVE Tamars books, and I was really excited for this one because I loved Eden and Noah, but this one was kind of just dragging on... I love the innocence and clean romance in her books, it's a nice break from the the darker romances I usually read, but I felt as if the relationship in this took a turn super quick. Its like they kinda disliked, or he just acted like it, but then it turned around really quick and they were in love and kissing all the time, which i dont mind, its just that it happened a little too quick for me without any real buildup. Also I wasn't a big fan of 4 different point of views, it takes away and suspense, and is kind of annoying going back and forth into different minds. Overall, it might have been a 3.5 star rating but I bumped it to 4 because the writing is still superb and the authors other books are all still really good. I might just go ahead and skip the rest of this series until her future books come out!
Ava and Hunter spend a lot of time fighting the inevitable. They continue to fight for th e arctic wolves, against all the turmoil and heartbreak. There are poachers trying to destroy the wolves and skin them for their pellets. Werewolves are the protectors of the wolves. When Hunter is shot, Ava changes for the first time. Some how Hunter survived, and the two of them become more than acquaintances.
But someone is paying the poachers. In addition, there is now a spy on the inside, where Anna's parents and Dawn are. No one understands the introduction of curries better than KJ, but he has charged himself into finding out how, why and by whom. The questions keep coming.
It's a great book two, full of twists, turns and intrigue. Love the characters.
I love Hunter and Ava, they are such a great team. The poachers are running rampant and Ava still doesn’t know how the prophecy will lay out. She knows it involves Hunter by her side.
KJ has to go to the mainland to try to figure out more about Furious, and he really doesn’t want to go, but feels he has to. He is having many mixed feelings about going to Jacksonville.when he gets there he meets Sayen a young girl working at lab there. They have such a love hate thing going on.
The poachers throws an awesome twist into this story that I really loved!
I have been enjoying this series from the very beginning, it is written so eloquently that it grabs you in and takes you straight through to the end.
Another quality addition to the Legacy series. Just as beautiful as the last, with the writing and the setting and the depth of emotion. Incredibly well thought-out, researched and implemented. Loved it.
What an amazing second book, that keeps you reading. You have Ava and Hunter, poachers and more. Definitely makes for fabulous reading and wanting the next one.
This story is not what I expected and found the story rather boring. It failed to move itself until I was halfway through it and spent a lot of time on what happened in the previous book.
This story has so much to it, there are so many story entwining with each other. Its the kind of story you can't put down. What is going to happen after this ending?
