Oh my, did I need these laughs! Sister girl Corrine was not playing at all. She had been there and done that. Now that she understands the game, she was ready to play with the big dogs. "The rules" she got a lot of em too. They cracked me up, but she was really on point. Giving out those lessons that we wish someone had taught us in our youth, to avoid the anger and heartache, of the losers we had to endure.

Each episode was funnier than the one before, as Corrine was on the hunt for good "D" and throwing up the middle finger to love. Her friends were a whole riot. Every time they got together; it was a good time. Now, I couldn't wait to find out the details about the ex-Karson, cause Corrine was big mad at him still! Well.... he deserves all that hate that Corrine is throwing his way every chance she gets, cause really 🥷🏾? 😤

Can I say how much I love Cherry? This woman was on go mode for her sister, at every turn. Her pettiness was next level, and I was here for all of it. 😂

Mr. Lorenzo just came out of nowhere and made a huge impression on Corrine. She knew he would be trouble, but just couldn't stay away. She tried to run, but after an unfortunate situation he was back in her orbit again, determined to stay this time. I really liked them together, as he was good to her and was helping her regain her trust in men. But what the hell happened at the hotel? Lorenzo who dat woman? 👀

Corrine is crushed and falling down the rabbit hole again. With Karson showing his ass and telling her something about herself that she didn't recognize, she is now beside herself. Trying to bury herself in work, she gets the surprise of her life when she sees who her patient is in the ER! What??? Where does Tomika fit into all of this? Lawd, I hope they don't have history! 🤬

I laughed almost the entire read and was purely entertained. I cannot wait to jump into Lorenzo's story to find out what is goings on!! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Unique storyline

This was a really well written story. I think this was a very unique concept. I love Corrine and instead of being bitter about a ruined marriage, she kept it moving and raising her kids. I love Lorenzo and can’t wait to read his side of the story.

I devoured this book!!!! The characters were fantastic, the plot was everything and the flow on point. This story had me all in my feelings. I was left pissed, shocked, speechless and wanting more. I hope I don't have to wait long for the next book because I'm left with so many unanswered questions. Corrine was a blast. I absolutely loved her and her sister Cherry. These sisters kept me laughing the entire time. Poor Vance didn't stand a chance. Karson needs to get his LIFE!!! I'm still on the fence about Lorenzo. You have to read the story to know exactly what I'm talking about when it comes to these characters but you will not be disappointed. All I do know is that those tears that were shed at the end of the story better be those of a blood relative. I also loved Royale, Charlee and Grace. There's more to these women than what meets the eyes. I just know it. I can't wait to read O. I will definitely be recommending this one to family and friends.
Would I recommend this story? Absolutely!

Rule #6....When it’s over, it’s over, let that shit go!! What can I say? WHEN I’m JUST HERE FOR LUST NOT LOVE GOES WEONG. I honestly felt like Corrine told my story and even put words to emotion and feelings that I could never find. I absolutely love how Kimille lets Corrine tell her story from her point of view, very original! I’m a Day 1 fan of Kimille’s so to see my girl Cherry show up and show out for her big sis was a suuuuuper bonus!!! THIS BOOK IS A MUST READ...I can’t wait to talk to Lorenzo and read what he has to say.

Corrine has a sophisticated kind of confidence cultivated by a set of rules she’s created in order to protect that confidence and her peace. She therefore requires a sophisticated love (whenever she decides to let one in). Hopefully she’s found that in Lorenzo.

Kimille is an exceptional storyteller and her latest release testifies to her caliber. Very seldom do you find a story that sucks you in from the very beginning and leaves you craving for more.

Good read

I enjoyed this writer's style. The story flowed and it was a very relatable story. I remember being single and dating. It was not a very pleasant experience. I really liked the main character and understood her struggles and agreed with a lot of her rules.
Why is it that men are never satisfied when they get what they say they need and want? There were a couple of twists that I didn't see coming. I will definitely read the next book in this saga.

This was my first time reading this authors work and, I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the rules. While reading this book you'll begin to look at your friends and visualize who can be who. Corri was everything a big sister should be. I loved her character so much, I had to purchase the next book. If you're looking for a good easy read, you should definitely grab this book.

I read his side of the story first. Now her side of the story explains it all. A misunderstanding without communicating can be so vital! Communication is so important and it should have been on Corine's rules! That bombshell omg!
Author Kimile you're in the hot seat. C'mon with the next book. The suspense is too great! I need Lorenzo and Corine story told together. The pieces are all laid out now!

I is for loved it

This book was really good. Great read and kept me laughing. I love the rules. Every woman should have them and live by them. I do want to know if the scene with Lorenzo was a misunderstanding. I loved it

This was one book that I can really relate to. It seems that all my thoughts & fears I had was played out in this book. Like most women after you been with a man for years you don't want to start over. You don't want to be trying to be friends & then give your heart again. I this story she has been through alot. Then through dating different men she finally find one she really likes. Just to end up seeing him with another woman who she don't even know who she is. Instead of finding out she just quits him & move on. Now here she is pregnant & he is hurt. Karson the ex is hurt because she has fell in love & about to have his baby. He can't be mad with no one but himself. Guys always try to be the victim when a woman moves on & is happy. Now Corrine has to decide what she wants to do. Whether to be there or give up. I can't wait to see what happens in thr next part to see how I all turns out. I really feel she just jumped to conclusions but I will see. Great writing & loved the details & the rules all throughout the book.

The way her pen flows reads like listening to your girl give you all the juicy details of exactly how thangs went down. Listen! This book had me all over the place! I was laughing for sure. There were times I was cussing at the characters, mad. I even almost got teary-eyed. This piece of work is written in such a way that it pulls you in like you're talking to your girlfriend and invested in all her story. Absolutely LOVED IT! On to the next in the series.

Rule number 4,567

Corrine & her dating rules are funny. Seem like she has a rule for every situation under the sun almost.
So these rules came about because of her divorce. After that she decided there were things she weren't gonna deal with. I think for the most part it's working out for her until she meets Lorenzo. Lorenzo seems to be the opposite of every other man that she's ran into. That promos her to give him a chance for more than just the friend zone.

So Many Rules

L (L O V Book 1) was an enjoyable read but I couldn’t keep up with all the rules. This book is packed with nuggets of wisdom but quite often the heart wants what the heart desires. The characters were relatable and storyline kept moving a decent pace. I look forward to reading O (L O V Book 2).

It was a 5 star right up to the breakup. The whole misunderstanding-breakup always seems contrived just to add angst. In this case, Lorenzo's alpha ass is going to let Corinne be incommunicado for months without getting in her face to find out why? Otherwise, I enjoyed this very much and loved how Cori was narrating to us, the readers.

The book had great love scenes to keep you captivated but the flow of the book and addition of unnecessary characters made the book hard to flow. The chapter only separated the pages and not the situation, rules or characters.
