This Wasn’t It!
This story was really about a unfulfilled girl that’s cheating on what seems to be a really good guy. This guy did everything to take care of this girl, but she’s unhappy….the story continues and it appears that this guy takes the girl back after she cheats and even has the side dude in her boyfriend’s condo….This story was wack!

Wait just a damn minute! He took her back?!!! I'm so disgusted with Darryl. Not only did Monae brazenly cheat on him but, she ran him down like a dog and talked mucho shyt about him to her friend. And, after all of that, he still took her back?!!! Chiiiiiiiiile, the stupidity was real in this book. I cannot with Darryl. He went out like a straight sucka. They say everyone plays plays the fool and, honey, Darryl definitely won an Oscar for his role. We Time was good but, I was not a fan of the ending.

This was a different kind of story. Darryl I understand he is a sweet guy and cares for Monae but he is getting treated crap. Monae is wrong for being around other men and not even trying to hide it from Darryl.
Women like this make it hard for the good women out here. Monae plays too many games and she really doesn't care how Darryl feels. Which is wild because she claims she still loves him.
Darryl is very weak it's nothing nice about a weak man. He should had not tried as hard to keep Monae around instead just left her. The ending is what got me though. Darryl is not strong and he shouldn't had took Monae back.

I have to give my honest opinion when reviewing books, that said I am still confused as to what I read. This book had a great storyline as well as detailed and complex characters but there was definitely something missing with this finished product. The flow of this book was okay nothing seemed rushed or missing, the drama was placed expertly as well. However, the decisions made within this book were seriously questionable.
Darryl and Monae’s story was very complicated. The trust issues, deceit, and betrayal were a bit much for me. I can honestly say I have never read of a man so weak or a woman so undeserving and ungrateful. Moon Bey created a troubled couple that readers will love to hate.
If you read book two Over Time, then you’ve met Monae. Her introduction was quick but when her story is told you see some connections. This author threw a doozy my way with this book and by the end I was still reeling from all I’d read. Although, this story was not my favorite it definitely added some spice to the series.
If drama, betrayal, heartbreak and turmoil are what you look for in a book then don’t hesitate to jump into this one and enjoy the ride.

We are pissed as hell right now.
😳😳 wait wait wait a damn minute. That did not just happen. I’m mad with this one. He took her back after everything she did. Lord, I need a 🥃. I had to cool myself down after reading this one 🤬. Whew Chile, the stupidity I just read can’t be real?!!!
I was so mad about this one. 1) No steamy scene that I like 2) he has no self-love.
I have a question for the ladies. “Why do we always say we want the good guy, nice guy, loving guy, loyal guy, but once we get what we are looking for in a guy, we turn around and treat them like shit?!”. I don’t get it!! I’m seeing a trend and reading about it.
Not a big fan of the ending. Still love you Right in style but I don’t love this book.

Okay!
Another short, quick book that left me with more questions than answers in the end. Darryl was an absolute glutton for punishment and I can’t imagine why he took Monae back, but I guess love makes you do foolish things.
