Walter Elias “Walt” Disney (December 5, 1901 – December 15, 1966) was an American film producer, director, screenwriter, voice actor, animator, entrepreneur, entertainer, international icon, and philanthropist. Disney is famous for his influence in the field of entertainment during the 20th century. As the co-founder (with his brother Roy O. Disney) of Walt Disney Productions, Disney became one of the best-known motion picture producers in the world. The corporation he co-founded, now known as The Walt Disney Company, today has annual revenues of approximately U.S. $35 billion.
Disney is particularly noted for being a film producer and a popular showman, as well as an innovator in animation and theme park design. He and his staff created some of the world's most famous fictional characters including Mickey Mouse, a character for which Disney himself was the original voice. He has been awarded four honorary Academy Awards and has won twenty-two competitive Academy Awards out of fifty-nine nominations, including a record four in one year, giving him more awards and nominations than any other individual. He also won seven Emmy Awards. He is the namesake for Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort theme parks in the United States, as well as the international resorts Tokyo Disney, Disneyland Paris, and Disneyland Hong Kong.
Disney died of lung cancer in Burbank, California, on December 15, 1966. The following year, construction began on Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. His brother Roy Disney inaugurated the Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1971.

Dieses LTB beinhaltet neun Geschichten:
Luftkampf über Porto Gordo: Dagobert Duck macht sich Sorgen um eines seiner Unternehmen - eine Fluggesellschaft in Porto Gordo - da dieses kaum Gewinn abwirft. Um abzuklären, wo das Problem liegt, schickt er seinen Neffen Donald, um nach dem Rechten zu sehen.
Ein antikes Geheimnis: In Entenhausen wird eine wichtige Autobahnbrücke durch einen Blitzeinschlag zerstört. Um eine Naturkatastrophe kann es sich nicht handeln, denn der zuständige Schurke hat seine Tat zum Voraus angekündigt. Goofy und Micky machen sich daran, den mysteriösen Fall aufzuklären, bevor noch mehr zerstört wird.
Eine längst fällige Lektion: Im Klub der Milliardäre entscheidet das Los, dass dieses Jahr Dagobert seinem Erzrivalen Klaas Klever das Jubiläumsgeschenk überreichen muss. Obwohl Dagobert alles zu wertvoll ist, um verschenkt zu werden, entscheidet er sich für eine alte Schale, welche er vor ein paar Jahren selbst geschenkt bekommen hat. Ein paar Tage später scheint sich aber ein Sammler für eine genau solche Schale zu interessieren und ist gewillt, dafür einen hohen Preis zu bezahlen. Dagobert ist verzweifelt und versucht alles, um die unscheinbare aber offensichtlich wertvolle Vase zurückzuerobern.
Geburtstagsessen im Gong Pong: Donald lässt sich auf einen Job ein, bei welchem er lediglich eine Woche in einem grossen Einkaufszentrum verbringen muss, ohne dieses zu verlassen. Perfekt für ihn; er kann es sich gut gehen lassen, alles gratis einkaufen und konsumieren. Dabei hat er aber völlig vergessen, dass Daisys Geburtstag ansteht. Da er ihr versprochen hat, dass er sie in ihr Lieblingsrestaurant ausführt, hat er nun ein echtes Problem...
Helden mit leichtem Handicap: Ein weiteres Abenteuer für Phantomias und Phantomime.
Agent DoppelDuck (41-43): Weihnachten in Gefahr!: Die einzige Weihnachtsgeschichte in diesem LTB. In seiner Rolle als DoppelDuck entscheidet sich Donald, in die Schweiz zu reisen, um die entführte Agentin Kay-K zu retten. Da Weihnachten vor der Tür steht fürchtet er sowie Daisy und seine Neffen, welche natürlich nichts ahnen von seiner Arbeit als Agent, dass er nicht pünktlich zurück ist zur grossen Feier.
Altes Heim, Glück allein: Durch Zufall kommen die Panzerknacker auf legalem Weg zu viel Geld. Damit leisten sie sich einen riesigen Wohnwagen mit allem Luxus, den man sich vorstellen kann - ihre erste ehrliche Anschaffung überhaupt. Die Freude hält allerdings nicht lange an, da sie bald von ihren zahlreichen Verwandten dazu genötigt werden, ihr neues Heim zu teilen.
Die wunderbare Macht des Wassers: Das Schwarze Phantom droht, Entenhausen zu zerstören. Gelingt es Goofy und Micky, dies rechtzeitig zu verhindern?
Rasanter Aufstieg: Aus einem langweiligen Sessellift zaubert Daniel Düsentrieb eine Bahn, welche die Fahrt nach oben spannender macht als die anschliessende Abfahrt auf der Piste.
Dass diese Ausgabe nur eine Geschichte enthält, welche um Weihnachten herum spielt, finde ich ein bisschen enttäuschend - vielleicht vor allem auch deswegen, da das Titelblatt sowie die Titelgeschichte (Weihnachten in Gefahr) schon etwas festlicher anmuten... Nun denn, war alles in allem trotzdem spassig und amüsant zu lesen :)
