Izzy's life is about to change soon in the biggest way possible. She is excited and nervous and torn about whether or not to give her ex, Rick Savage another chance. Rick has tried to be a better man. He's gone through anger management classes and really seems to be making an effort. But is that enough? Does she owe it to him, to them, to try one more time? Or is it okay for her to move on and possibly even consider a future with someone else? Not that she is looking to do that, but there is someone else who she has known as a friend for a long time. He's a very good friend and at times she wonders if there could be something more there. But, she has bigger things to consider first. Someone other than herself and it's all new to her. But, her sister Mia is there to help. Izzy is now living with Mia since her condo was renovated. And Mia has a promising new romance. And there's a lot going on with the Hodges family too. Kate has a very big announcement and Lisa learns that she has been violating a major rule for her bed and breakfast. So changes are coming....

Today is the official release day for Nantucket Threads!

This is book six in my Nantucket Beach Plum Cove series that begins with The Nantucket Inn. If you don't want to start at book one right now, I would also suggest you could start with book 5, Nantucket Weddings, where sisters Mia and Izzy are introduced. Mia's story is primarily in that book--and Izzy's begins there and continues in Nantucket Threads.

Here are the links where the book is available in ebook, paperback and large print paperback. Audio will soon be available--it's in production now.

I have really enjoyed this series and I hope this is not the last book. I love Nantucket based books and this is no exception. The whole series is great and I've enjoyed the way the story has unfolded throughout.

I really enjoyed this book. I feel like throughout the series we have gotten to know the characters and watch them build their lives, careers and their families. These are light reads, on the beautiful island of Nantucket.

I may be the only male animal around to make it all the way to the blessed end of this mess or to have entered the whole series in the middle. This book was so bad it was entertaining.

Written for divorced single women who have little white dogs, walk barefoot on the beach, and stir their mocha on Saturday mornings on sun-drenched patios, the story contains a confusing array of characters without last names. I’ve been to Nantucket in my youth and knew it for its cobblestone streets that tore up the tires of the fendered bicycles that rolled back into the bike shop where I was fired as a sorry repairman after a week for not properly fixing all their flats. But this Nantucket was populated with cars and trucks and enterprising ladies complete with internet consultants.

I found it annoying to be given a complete description of the raiment of every female every time she appeared and of the exotic menu of everything they cooked or ate at every meal. It was as if all female readers are fixated on such features of life and by implication males might be expected to be captivated by basketball scores, gun calibers, and engine horsepower.

As for romance, which was modern, millennial, and corny, the outcome was obvious from the opening. The beer-guzzling hunk with anger issues who fathered Izzy’s baby, and put his fist through the sheetrock was doomed to the dump in favor of the polite carpenter who breached the wall to the neighboring store with perfect custom trim in five hours.

To feel good - read this book as a sample of the series which to me seems to be Nancy Drew for big girls.

From the time I opened the cover I could not put down Nantucket Threads. Izzy is not sure how she is feeling. She is pregnant but separated from Rick her boyfriend. She is thinking of expanding her shop, Nantucket Threads but she is apprehensive just thinking about it. Rick has been pressing her to get back together and that he had changed. He has had a problem with his temper amongst other things and told her he had taken anger management classes and was not the same person he used to be. Izzy's sister, Mia, has never been a fan of Rick's. Neither has their friend Will liked him. Will has had feelings for Izzy for quite some time. She is torn between her feelings for Rick and what she feels for Will.

She is staying with Mia and plans to be there until after the baby is born. This is not making Rick happy but Izzy is sticking to her guns. I had eagerly been awaiting this latest from Pamela Kelley and it did not disappoint. I loved every minute of this book and did not want it to end.

⭐️⭐️⭐️.💫 Nantucket Threads is another cozy installment in Pamela Kelley’s Beach Plum Cove series, and it delivers exactly what fans have come to expect—a light, heartwarming escape to the island. The setting is as charming as ever, with plenty of food, family, and small-town moments that make you feel like you’re catching up with old friends. It’s a quick read, easy to slip into, and perfect for when you’re in the mood for something comforting and low-stress.

That said, the story is quite predictable and doesn’t dive very deeply into the heavier topics it touches on. Certain character dynamics, like Izzy and Rick’s relationship, felt frustrating at times, and some aspects of pregnancy and postpartum life weren’t portrayed realistically, which pulled me out of the story. If you’re listening to the audiobook, the narration may not be for everyone either.

Overall, this was an enjoyable, breezy read that fits nicely into the series. While it might not stand out as a favorite, it’s still a sweet return to Nantucket and the familiar characters I’ve grown to enjoy.

My least favorite book of the series. As a women and children's healthcare nurse, the portrayal of the pregnancies, deliveries and postpartum storylines of 2 of the characters ran me crazy. You don't want to sit and watch a medical drama series with me pointing out the flaws and you really don't want to be in a book club with me when it involves pregnancy and childbirth. And don't even get me started on the Izzy/Rick storyline. The type of relationship that everyone, even the female character knows is a bad idea, but we have to watch her go through the process knowing exactly what will happen throughout and it drags on the whole book. I cringed whenever Rick entered the picture or we had to hear Izzy's thoughts about the relationship. This whole book felt obvious and formaliac. I was grateful it was short.

The latest edition of Beach Plum Cove finds Lisa's B&B hosting a long-term winter guest whose skills with e-commerce help the community during her stay. Lisa's daughters, Kate & Izzy are both expecting Lisa's first grandchildren during the off-season.

A feel good series with characters you can fall in love with.

I never know how to rate these books. I do enjoy them but when I contrast them with other books I read they just aren’t meaty enough. Plus they are very predictable. So sorry I’m not much help, you will just have to decide for yourself. Easy, quick read.

Love in Nantucket

I love the continuation of the family stories. I was disappointed that the stories are shorter and shorter! This book was only 172 pages. There was a recipe at the end which brought the story to 175 pages.

Book 6 in the series. I rate it 3.5 stars (I can’t figure out how to do a half star). Izzy’s story is interesting but predictable. Again, these books are a lovely couple of hours escape from real life!

A fairly predictable plot, but this deep in the series, the characters feel like old friends and I only want the best for them.

This is the 6th book in The Nantucket Inn series. I would have to say this might be my favorite one so far! This is a real page-turner! When I read one of Pamela Kelley's books it's like taking a vacation to Nantucket and catching up with family and friends you haven't seen in a while. Her stories will have you emotionally drawn in and craving the next book in the series. Looking forward to her next book in April 2021 "The Hotel".

This is the latest in the Nantucket series by Pamela Kelley. I hated for this book to end. I have loved the entire series and can't wait for the next one. The character descriptions and interactions have made me feel like they are friends and I can't wait to catch up in each new release. In these crazy times this series is the perfect feel good escape.

I love this series and I loved this book !!! Every character is just so special. This is Izzy's story and it is terrific ! Baby is due soon and she has to make a decision to either get back together with the baby's father or be done with him for good this time. Then there is will who is not so secretly in love with Izzy. Will she finally realize it ? Come on, you know you are all pulling for Will ! Oh and let's not forget Jack & Kate and their soon to be baby arrival. And lastly, a new character introduced to the mix. Welcome Marley, can't wait for her story !
