Cute shounen ai story about a commander, brother of a king of a country at war, that agrees to live in the mountain with a dragon seen as deity in exchange of protection for the country. During his time with the dragon he discovers the true nature of the creature.

Has a combination of angst and wholesome moments that make this an easy read.

I was completely underwhelmed.

There was no reason for this to exist. What is the point of a BL being story centric if the story is meh. You read BL for either/both of 2 reasons: 1, spicy stuff or 2, a compelling relationship. This was neither for me. I felt like I wasted my time reading this.

Don't put down this manga for the image, because thoose ones are claws of a dragon, and the story is a sweet shonen ai. Don't worry, it would warm your heart at least.

We have one human, comander and brother of the king, who would do anything to protect his country... even give himself to the dragon god that protects them.
In the other side we have the dragon, a lonely creature who doesn't understand the difference between species. Just want to have someone at his side, to have a family.

The story have a lot of povs about amorality, violence and how can we understand the others without been to harsh with them.
Because the dragon doesn't know how to live with humans, and the humans doesn't know how to trust and forgive the dragon.

I kept putting off reading this one because I thought it was tentacle p*rn, turns out it is not and is actually relatively clean. I liked what this story was trying to do, I just think it needed to be longer if it really wanted us to sympathize with the characters.

I really liked this story, though there were some confusing jumps/gaps. This is a story about family and finding someone that makes you happy and lets you feel at home.

I love one shot but i always want more !
I liked the story and the thought and philosophy behind it. I wished the relationship was less subtle (and i wished for dragon's smut too 👀) i'm gonna scavenge the internet to find more art of them.
I feel it's a story all in restraint so if you like exuberant stories with a lot of drama or angst with a lot of smut, this will not be for you.
Nonetheless i think it's a story worth reading, the dragon is a big dumb sunshine with a big heart and the captain is a grumpy scarred human. I eat this kind of dynamics.
