Fifteen years later, Harry is still coming to terms with the loss of Rue. Althea has waited patiently but can’t hold off wanting a child of her own any longer.

Lara is 43 years old now and isn’t as young as she used to be. With more grey hairs and the prospect of Zoe’s parents moving away, the time has come for Lara and Zoe to leave the Cardinal behind. When Lara realises that Harry is more than her boss—she’s been her best friend for 18 years—Lara needs to find the strength to create distance. Her impending mortality ignites her desire to protect Harry from a death she can’t avoid.

While Harry deals with Lara’s departure, the Cardinal is brought to a grinding halt when a young boy screams for help. A voice that Harry has only heard once, yet the only voice that can make her forget who she is.

I've read all 3 books in the trilogy over the last few weeks, very casually on and off. They are very naughty and erotic, seductive and explosively sexual. So I could only handle a few chapters at a time, if not only a few passages, even. I have to admit to blushing a number of times during reading... BUT there was definitely more to them, than sex.

All I can really say is I came for the sex, but stayed for the plot.

The premise of the immortalized personification of the 7 deadly sins and also their antithesis in the 7 virtues was truly mesmerizing. But what was really compelling was the connection between each of the women and their friends throughout the years. It was soul-touchingly beautiful, and I cried like a sap at the end.

It's certainly not for everyone, but you can give it a go on Kindle Unlimited to see for yourself.

I shamelessly admit that I just wanted to read smut at first, but it’s the plot that made me stay. I also did not expect to become a sobbing mess at the end...
Yes, there are many sex scenes (all incredibly well written btw), but the book is more than sex! The characters have many depths and layers, and each of them will grow on you. I can’t stop thinking about them even now.

I’m not really a fan of multiple POVs, and open relationships were not my thing in a sapphic’s book, too. I wouldn’t read this series if I knew what it would be tbh, but I’m so glad I’ve read it because my goodness!! This series is a fantasy I didn’t know I needed.

You can’t have sin without virtue

This book has a lot to say. The story has many layers and is beautifully written. It stirred up so many emotions from fear to anger to sorrow and desire. The women in these stories are loving , courageous, passionate and accepting. I love all the characters human and immortal. Thank you T.J.Dallas for bringing them to life.

The author was kind enough to send me a copy for my honest opinion

1 Corinthians 13:4, 7-8

This Bible verse came to me the more I read this story. Pride's Humility couldn't be farther from anything religious, however, it does deal with ancient mystical beings and the beginning of time. The third installment to this series gave us more insight into everyone's backgrounds and how they came to be. The revealing of who created the seven deadly Sins gave the story a nice twist and in my opinion, enrichened Harry's character. Harry endured quite a bit in this story, more than what she went through in the sequel, and with trauma, always comes healing. Harry's healing opened her eyes as well as her heart, and even more facets to her personality. I wasn't entirely sure what Dallas meant with the title of this book until I actually read it. There's nothing like a title that fits and molds itself within the story to a T. Dallas showed us another side to her writing skills as we inched closer and closer to the climax, and I think if she were to explore a darker side to storytelling, she'd be quite successful. Her descriptive narrative was spot on. I could see what Riley and Emilia were seeing in those harrowing, blood-curdling, moments when they explored dream world to find Harry. Not only did Dallas pull at our heartstrings in this story, but she frightened the daylights out of me, too. Isn't this supposed to be erotica? Damn. I loved it, though. Just more layers added to the already colourful ones she made with the previous books. Althea redeemed herself in this story, for me personally. I was so done with her after the sequel and was prepared to never forgive her. All is right in my books regarding Althea. Love and new relationship as well as growing ones aside, the erotica portion of this book was off the Richter scale! Dallas never held back and did not disappoint. She even added some new moves, cranking up the heat. That's all I'll say about that.

The Pride series is something I cannot recommend enough. Erotica isn't for everyone, but when you add such rich layers of character development, an enticing storyline, and an abundance of friendship, compassion, lust, sex, emotions of every colour, and love, you might surprise yourself and enjoy this story of strong women, mortal and immortal, joining as one to create an explosive story.

What a great series!

I didn't want the book to end 'cause I loved the camaraderie between these women. Yes, they may have represented each cardinal sin which are often looked upon as a bad thing compared to virtue's, but I've always believed that too much of one thing is bad for everyone. When you're too kind, you get taken advantage of and hurt... when you're too full of wrath, you have the potential to burn yourself.

ANYWAY! I just really enjoyed the series. Thanks, Dallas for providing me with a great reprieve from the everyday mundane.

And, done? I think? I liked this one the best out of the three, even though I had to wait much too long to get the answers I wanted basically from page 1, book 1. As I mentioned before, the execution was not my favourite for this series, but this book definitely stood out in terms of plot and major drama. Oh don't you worry, erotica fans, there's still loads of sex. But honestly I tired of it fairly quickly because it was all the same.... So many screams, people. Screaming for days. Lots of floods. But we get a lot more from most of the characters in this one, even if I still don't fully understand Vices vs. Virtues (and what the hell is wrong with Dylan?).

We FINALLY get some chapters featuring Riley, and this stood out like Edinburgh's Scott monument. It was dark and lonely and detailed and terrifying. The author did a tremendous job of explaining more about her and her abilities, and put her in such an important quest that it still surprises me that this is all the air time she got. Boy I wish more equality was given to each vice!

I take back my comment from the book 2 review, where I said I didn't care much for Lara and wasn't sure why she was included more prominently than the vices. I now get it, and the tenderness around her worry and fears for being a mortal was very touching.

So overall this series kept my interest and I do feel the author started to come into her own towards book 3 and some of the writing kinks (Hah! kinks....erotica....) were ironed out.

This is the final book in the trilogy and it wraps up Pride aka Harry's story arc. The book takes place almost 18yrs after book two, and Lara has to make a decision, to leave the Cardinal and move w/Zoe and her parents to another place in Scotland. This decision set Harry's life into a tailspin, and from there the action starts. I loved this book, i already loved the characters, but this book ties everything up, into a neat little bow, for Harry at least. We get to know more about Riley in this book, and it's amazing. And Wraith makes more of an appearance, maybe gearing up for the next series of book, hmm ? The sex is hot, the story tugs at your heartstrings and will uplift you. Once again, TJ Dallas, has created a world in which i got lost into, i felt as if i was friends or family of all the characters. I felt Lara's tough decision, later, i felt the angst the sins felt when they needed to make some hard decisions. One thing i suggest, have some tissues handy, especially if you are like me and get sucked into stories, this one will suck you in, you will get the "feels". The only thing that i disliked about this book, that it was the finale in the trilogy, I hate when a beloved character's story ends. BUT on that note, the story isn't over, so YAY! We also get a peek into the world of the Virtues, but you HAVE to read this to find out what i mean, NO SPOILERS :) I do recommend reading the previous two books, things are referenced, this, in my opinion, is not a stand alone book, you need to read the previous books to get into Harry and the Sin's heads. The author does recap the previous books story lines in this, but again, in my opinion, this is not a stand alone, you would miss out on too much of the feeling, emotions of Harry. With this all being said, this book took me on a ride, a rollercoaster of a ride. Hot sex scenes, cuz it's still an Erotic novel, (very hot too!), but the story is brilliant and beautiful, and as i'm writing this up, i'm tearing up thinking about the lovely, sweet ,emotional ending. So I can't wait for TJ Dallas next books, i've been enjoying the ride and the world you have created so far. Bravo TJ !!

2.5 stars. Not like, in a bad way. I've been meaning to finish this series for years now, but I wanted to be sure I was in the mood for it. While I do enjoy the overall story and and premise behind the series, I sometimes get a little impatient with erotic romance when it doesn't have enough substance. And this did have a plot, just like the first two books. But unlike the first two books, it ended up either revolving around things I wasn't very interested in reading about, or not making a lot of sense to me.

Listened to the audiobook as read by Scarlett Rose, as I always do, and her voice was as melodious and dreamy as ever; such a treat to listen to. I'm pretty sure without it, I'd have skimmed past a lot of scenes. Other than a couple things here and there, I sadly didn't get a lot out of this book? It gets an extra 0.5 for the last chapter, and the last few sentences in particular. That was really sweet. And hey, I hate leaving series unfinished, so I least I finished this.

Wow!

There was a lot in this third book. Many pieces of the puzzle coming together. It was a hard book to put down.
I am in awe of how TJ Dallas can create such a magnificent story out of the Seven. I'll never look at any of the Seven the same again.
We were introduced to a character that has been there since book 1, and I'm really curious to read more about her. The brief history we were given has only made me want to learn more.
Excellent series. I'm so glad I have taken this incredible journey.

Amazing

A great ending to the trilogy, not only is the erotica part great but the story is amazing. I barely got through the part when Lara had to leave the club and tell Harry.

I miss them. I miss them a lot. They've become like a family to me. Harry having to deal with Lara leaving and then saving Rue, fighting for her life... her relationship with Althea has always been the one thing I absolutely adored. Right from the second Althea saw Harry cry. To think that they've been in love for years... be still my heart.
I've always loved the idea of seeing Emilia with Madison. For some reason the combination of those two just made sense. Harry basically "tricking" Emilia into revealing her feelings for Madison was brilliant and had me in tears. Lilith... I love her, but I also hold a small grudge. What she did to Harry by telling her she wouldn't be able to love Rue just leaves a bitter taste even though I know she did it to save him... so I love her again. Ah well, it happens.
Emilia's and Maddy's daughter? Good god... and a granddaughter for Harry and Althea?
A beautiful end to their story. And yet having the book end with Lara passing away had me in tears. That last sentence of how Harry was proud of her and humble to have known her? Yup, still crying about that.

I ugly cried at the end of this book. Is that a spoiler? Nah. I'll let you find your tissues when you need to.

This series... I've read it a few times and at the end I never know quite how to capture how I feel when I close the book. Each read feels like I see something differently. Read a sentence with a different emphasis. Felt differently for a characters actions. I mean, that's pretty powerful, to feel something new each time- the writing is changing me as much as my reading is changing the writing.

Is there a lot of love making? Yup. It's intricately sprinkled through the books and it doesn't disappoint. But the plot?? It is so imaginative. So well-written. So fleshed out. It's just bloody brilliant- you are not going to stop at one book. You will consume every single chapter of every book all the way through to the Wrath series.

There's no way not to love these fiercely loyal, wonderfully strong women that will go to the ends of the worlds for one another. Immortal and mortals alike- just an amazing adventure that is as steamy as it is poignant.

I was the editor for this third installment of the Pride Trilogy when the author's first editor couldn't fit her in. What wonderful world-building. Scintillating, hot characters. And an engaging plot as Pride (Harry), leader of the Seven Sins and a proprietor of the Cardinal hotel/club, tries to rescue a kidnap victim who is very close to her heart.

Erotica has a new Queen; TJ Dallas has taken the throne with authority

I loved the third book of the Pride Trilogy by TJ Dallas. I’ll just say this trilogy is outstanding, really quite something, so powerful and sexy, erotica as you never had before. The sex is abundant and amazing. But the plots, and the deep stories that these books hold, left me speechless, in the best way.

Each and every book is better than the previous, and every time I finished one, I never would have imagined, she could pull it out again. And she did it every time; it’s amazing how the next book was even better. I am still in pure awe. Another thing I love is to discover while we read, the reason for the titles.

Pride's Humility wow, simply wow, my head is still spinning about what I’ve read. When I was halfway through the book, I faced that usual problem, the one when you don't know if to read as quickly as you can to find out what comes next or to slow down the pace to extend the enjoyment of the book. I took my time, and the one thing I know for sure is, that this book along with the trilogy is one of the best I have read, most probably in my life.

PS I'll just add how much I love Riley in this one, she is so cute and very brave.

To end my comment, I’ll just say I'm impressed; this trilogy is deep, meaningful, and the sex, goodness that's glorious hotness. Every book is outstanding, and as I already mentioned, but is worth saying again, each one is better than the previous one. There is exceptional deepness, and magnificent development in the stories and the characters.

TJ Dallas arrived like a tornado, taking us with her into the Cardinal life and its manager’s world. When we think of erotica, TJ Dallas is the name, she has earned the title, and now when we mention erotica, TJ Dallas stands upfront with a crown. If you like erotica her books are a must. And this debut trilogy is the clear example we are in for a treat from now on when she's around.

Welcome to The Cardinal.
The deadly sins never looked as alluring as they do in the Pride Trilogy.

If you're looking for an amazing adventure, great stories, outstanding plots and enthralling characters with a good deal of fine erotica, as you have never seen before, this is definitely for you

I am speechless and so in love with this Trilogy.

The whole idea behind the Seven Deadly Sins and the "Cardinal" was fascinating from the start.
The implementation is brilliant especially, because you can understand the maturity process of the individual characters extremely well.

Each and every one of the deadly sins is actually necessary and in this last book of this trilogy these necessities are also very nicely explained and made visible.
You get insights into the creation and the beginning, although it still remains mystical.

The development of the shy Lara into a grown, strong and self-supporting woman has also been wonderfully successful and her close friendship with Harry is heartwarming and at the same time tearing.
A really important chapter in the lives of Harry and Lara and also for the whole story.

"Sloth" was one of the biggest surprises for me in a positive way.
Her strength at the right and most important moment in the book was actually astonishing.
I don't want to write more about it, otherwise i would spoiler ;)
Only so much for that, "Sloth" has to fight with heavy burdens and that of every single sin.
You realized that!

There have been so many moments where I had to hold my breath and hope for the best.
Whether it was because of the incredible love that was described and the miracle that just happened or the pure fear of losing one of the beloved characters.
Exciting and heartbreaking.
Harry is one of my most beloved characters i ever read and i read a lot!!

About the erotic scenes I can only say that there is hardly a book like it, with so many excellently written intimate and hot scenes!

The end is terrific! Especially because there is no end!
I'm already looking forward to the next, one hundred percent, extremely hot and exciting trilogy of "Wrath"!
Thank you so much TJ Dallas for this incredible story.

This was a great finishing to the Pride Trilogy. This is a series in where you HAVE to read it in order to get the most out of each book. While Dallas does a good job of recapping events at the beginning of each book, the connections with the characters just isn't the same. This book takes place roughly 15 years after the second book, which the epilogue in the second book set up this large time jump which tackled the idea of how an immortal who befriends mortals deals with the passing of time.

Harry is still amazing but my favorites, Emilia and Riley get some time to shine. While Emilia has had some POV chapters, this is the first time that Riley got her own chapters, and they didn't disappoint. Riley has some much more going for her than can be gleaned when she is first introduced. The dream world that she has the ability to enter, has some truly terrifying nightmares.

I loved that each book in the series dives deeper and deeper into this world and the mythology around it. This book brought in more info about the virtues, the dreamworld, and where the sins come from. For an erotica novel, there is an impressive amount of character of growth and intriguing plot.

I highly recommend this series for fans who want some hot and steamy erotica with great characters and solid urban fantasy plots. Make sure to read the books in order! Very important!

This was my … I’m not sure how many times I’ve read this book. Five, maybe six, times. If I could live inside any book world, I would choose Harry and the Sins at the Cardinal Every. Damn. Time.

Seriously. If you haven’t read this series, do it! Yes, it’s an off the charts spicy series. And it’s so much more. It’s about found family and loving yourself for who you are. It’s about standing beside your (chosen) family and doing the scary or dangerous thing to be there for them. It’s about learning that a little bit of “sin” is good and necessary. And did I mention that it’s spicy?

* This is the only book that has made me cry. I knew what was coming had to happen. I still sobbed.

** The Wrath Trilogy is Part 2 of the series

*** T.J. has just started writing the prequel to The Pride Trilogy. All I can say is that it’s about Lilith. THE Lilith. I can’t wait for book 1.

I love these.
This one not only follows Harry and her 'gang' but also addresses a query that I had about aging. The mere mortals that are part of the story have aged and move away - but not too far.
I am still curious about what happens when an immortal being has a relationship with a mortal that ages - all that pain of loss.
This book is full of action ( and I am not just talking about sex).
The story is more than erotica - it is complex, it weaves around sins and virtues - in ways I am not sure I fully understand.

Epilogue
New life in exchange for death

I do however think there might be something wrong with me. I think I might be broken.
I got married recently and read this on a honeymoon cruise - just sat in the bar or on deck. I have perfected the art of 'being able to read erotica in public'.

This is the third book in the trilogy. I think this book might be even hotter than The Bartender's Pride and that's saying a lot!! This book ties up any loose ends. It explains some concepts in more detail. It broke my heart when Lara told Harry she was leaving. The book took me through a range of emotions. This book is the end of the Harry and Lara saga and I never wanted that to end.

I highly recommend this book and anything else Ms. Dallas writes as I find her to be a very talented author who does wonderful character development, writes scorching hot sex scenes and is able to evoke intense, powerful emotions through her words. I have immensely enjoyed all the books of this trilogy and can't wait to see what TJ has in store for us next!

Story with erotic twists

I didn’t think I would enjoy this book as much as I did. The third in the series and I think the best. The first book left me puzzled, the second enthralled and this one totally in love with the characters. I do not think this or any of the parts of the trilogy could be read as a stand alone as each leads into the next. I enjoyed the multiple points of view which spanned over several chapters. This final book brought everything into focus and explained the relationships of the characters. Besides the eroticism the story was good and the sex was in context. The characters were strong and well rounded. If you enjoy a different type of romance heavy on the sex this one is for you.

Deals with the 7 Deadly Sins and a mortal woman named Lara, and her whole life story, told through the eyes of the 7 Deadly Sins. Not my favorite, but not the worst I've read. Somewhere in the land of interesting ideas, and concept, but also failed in my opinion, with the polyamorous lens, I get it was Pride's story, not necessarily Lara's, but it still pissed me off how Lara so willingly slept with any and all of the 7 Deadly Sins without thought, WHILE BEING MARRIED TO A WOMAN, and that threw me off. I understood going in, there would be a lot of extra-curricular activity going on in it, but I didn't like that poly aspect of it. At least make it so BOTH are involved in the more sexual situations.

Mindblowing Brilliance
I laughed, I cried, I gasped, I sighed. Such phenomenal characters that drive this story full of exciting plot twists & turns. I am in total awe of the imagination, creativity and descriptive writing woven throughout this story. Plus the erotica is so fiery hot & sensual at the same time. The use of various kink is refreshing and the numerous sex scenes are crafted in a euphoric and tantalizing manner. All revved up with one place to go and that's most definitely the Cardinal. I've become so emotionally invested with these incredibly sexy Sinful Women and all of their antics! I totally LOVE this book, the whole Pride Trilogy and can hardly wait for The Wrath Trilogy next!

I’m not crying...you’re crying!

I’ve been reading lesfic for about a year and a half now and this is the first time one of the books made me cry. By the tine you get to book 3 in the pride trilogy you are fully invested in each of the characters and their lives. There were such sweet and tender moments alongside the absolutely delicious sex that runs throughout the book and keeps your heart racing! This book really went deeper on all levels and took you on an emotional journey! I cannot wait to see what’s next from TJ Dallas!

Deliciously sinful with a touch virtuous!

I felt so many emotions while reading this book. The sex scenes are hot, but there is so much more to it. The depth of the characters and the story. I got chills while reading everything that happened to Harry, and how gut wrenching it was for all the other Sins to deal with. The amount of unconditional love they had for eachother was beautifully written. I felt it in every page. These books were just so much more than I was expecting. I truly enjoyed reading them.

Wow. Just. . .wow. The third and final of the Pride Trilogy was fantastic, but of course I expected no less! Dallas writes so well, her descriptions jump right off the page. I literally feel the emotions of these women, almost as if I'm physically there with them. This is erotica with a story, of the highest caliber. As it comes to a close, she wraps this story up in such an unexpected way, but it makes so much sense. I love love love this trilogy, and I can't wait to read it again!!
