Jules Rivera loves a challenge. She’s saved failing businesses, and transformed scruffy guys into handsome bachelors — who turn around and leave her in the dust. Some thanks. And as for the surly, rugged owner? All her instincts tell her, he’s something pretty special too…

Reeve Hastings has no intention of being anyone’s project. On a scale of 1-10, Jules’ is having a -10 day. She has lost her job, her boyfriend and her apartment within the space of a few hours. All she is clinging onto now is her dignity - just. She is on her way to Sweet Briar Cove to stay with her bestie Evie at the Beachcomber Inn. The thought of being beside the ocean, drinking wine and enjoying aching belly laughs is something she really craves right now.

You didn’t think she would drive off to the haven of the cove with nothing going wrong did you? Yup, more shit rains down on her, okay not actual shit, it’s rain which wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t for her car getting a flat tyre on a deserted stretch of road. And the fact her ex has her car jack. I mean really, does the universe have something against her today or what?! Luckily for Jules she finds a nearby property she should be able to get help from…

Reeve Hastings has recently returned to his family vineyard after his father became ill and could no longer take care of it. He enjoyed a busy and varied life in California and wants to get back there as soon as he can. He had no idea how bad things were with the vineyard and now he has a huge pile of bills to sort through, with some tough decisions to be made. Selling seems to be the only viable option for now.

When Reeve comes across Jules wandering around inside the cellar door and tasting the wine, he is furious with the clear invasion of his space and privacy. Who the hell does she think she is helping herself and assuming that it’s actually okay to do so?! So far his first impression of her is not going well. Despite his grumpy demeanour, Jules is relieved that he indeed does have a car jack she can borrow.

When Jules returns the next day to thank him and give back the jack she is overwhelmed by how beautiful the vineyard and homestead is. Straight away she sees the potential of what could be but Reeve does not see things the same way. While she sees beauty he just sees hard work and feels the weight of expectation that has been thrust upon him.

There is an undeniable pull that keeps drawing them back to each other and it doesn’t take long until Jules is injecting her passion for projects into the vineyard. Looking at the landscape through her eyes puts a whole new perspective on things. She helps him see the beauty and potential that he otherwise would have ignored. A romance is simmering away too, no harm in some harmless summer fun right?

This a great weekend read, low in angst and full of romantic moments.

Spending the summer with her best friend in Sweetbriar will give Jules the distance she needs to ensure she doesn’t keep repeating the mistakes of the past. She never imagined that car trouble could be the best thing to ever happen to her when it brings Reeve into her life.

Reeve finds himself back in his hometown temporarily so that he can be there for his father when he needs him the most. Trying to ensure the family winery is viable is causing him enough challenges so he can’t understand why he is intrigued, infuriated and attracted to Jules.

Neither was looking for love or a relationship, but they may just find out but spending time in Sweetbriar and with each other gives them the clarity the realize what and who they want in their future.

What an absolute joy it is to back in the world of Sweetbriar Cove! Simply Irresistible is the 16th book in this beloved series, but can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel.

When we first meet up with Jules, her entire life has been turned upside down. If losing her job, boyfriend, and apartment in the same day wasn’t bad enough, Jules gets a flat tire on the way to visit her friend in the pouring down rain. When she goes to look for help, the last thing she planned on was Reeve. Reeve too was angry at the world and wasn’t ready to deal with people, but especially not the beautiful out-of-towner, Jules…

Simply Irresistible is a quick, yet satisfying read. The characters were easy to connect with and had me loving their beautiful small town. Sweetbriar Cove is one of those towns that is built on long lasting friendships. Sure, everyone knows everyone and gossip spreads faster than wildfire, but that just adds to the charm. And when you add two hot strangers to the mix, all bets are off!

I had the best time getting to know Jules and Reeve. From the moment I met these two characters, I knew their story was going to be a good one and I wasn’t disappointed. You could feel the instant chemistry between them and despite Reeve always putting his foot in his mouth, I couldn’t help but root for the surly vineyard owner. As with any good love story, the road to happily ever after can’t be an easy one. Naturally there are obstacles our couple must overcome, and I have to tell you, I loved watching these two try to figure things out. Jules and Reeve stole my heart and I couldn’t have been more happier with the outcome.

In the end, Simply Irresistible was just that, an irresistibly good romance. The kind of romance that captivates you instantly. The kind that makes you feel as though you’re a part of the story and makes you feel right at home. The kind of story that makes you swoon and in the end leaves you with a smile on your face. Simply Irresistible is a wonderful addition to the Sweetbriar Cove series and I look forward to getting my hands on the next book in this much loved series.

We are 16 books into this series, and I am still as enchanted with Sweetbriar Cove as I was at the beginning. Reeve and Jules's story is a lovely slow-burn romance, but that doesn't make it any less sizzlingly hot, sometimes the build-up is just as exciting.

Jules has come to Sweetbriar after losing her job and to be near her best friend, Sweetbriar is just supposed to be a stopover. For Reeves, he is back in Sweetbriar to help sell his dad's vineyard. Two people like ships in the night, they were only supposed to be in the Cove for the summer, but once this little town has you in its grip it won't give you back without a fight.

I really enjoy reading the Sweetbriar Cove series and this one is no different. A light-hearted romance story about two people who come to the cove for the summer. They get absorbed into life in the small community very quickly. Jules best friend of Evie Arrived for the Opening party of the Beachcomber Inn. having been dumped a few hours before by her ex-boss she is now homeless, jobless and single. Reeve Hastings is trying to save his fathers Vineyard from bankruptcy. A chance meeting by the two in pouring rain sets off a series of incidents that bring the couple together. Another great read from one of my favourite authors

Melody Grace has written yet another wonderful romance story set in Sweetbriar Cove. She brings the characters to life with their relatable personalities(we all know someone like them). Simply Irresistible is the newest release in Melody Grace’s Sweetbriar Cove series. Once again, she has delivered an amazing romance which will give you all the feels running the gamut from humor to heartbreak and finding love.

When Jules’ life crumbles and her love life again falls apart, she makes the decision to head to Sweetbriar Cove, swearing off relationships. But when she unexpectedly crosses paths with a heart-stoppingly gorgeous local man, her heart flutters back to life. But Reeve is only back in town for one reason: to sell his family’s vineyard which has been the crux of heartache his entire life so he can get back to his life. But the more time they spend together, the more irresistible they become to each other getting lost in each other’s arms, at least for the summer.

Although Jules admits to herself that what she feels for Reese is deeper than anything she has ever experienced, she is afraid to tell him how she truly feels. Reese is so focused on his past, that he fails to recognize the life and love that stands before him. Will Reese and Jules recognize that what they have found with each other is destiny, a love worth holding onto so they can finally build a life together surrounded by love?

Melody Grace captures my heart over and over again with her amazing characters and stories of friendship, love and romance. I absolutely love small town romance, and Sweetbriar Cove is one of my absolute favorites. I really enjoy the sense of community, friendship and family and always find myself wishing that her stories would never end. The addition of Reese and Jules is phenomenal, and I’ve fallen in love with Sweetbriar Cove all over again.

Loved Jules and Reeve's story. Several lol moments while reading their story and my first was when they initially met. In many ways they were opposites, their journey was beautifully written. Wonderful summer read.

Back to Sweetbriar Cove!

Jules ends up in Sweetbriar Cove, staying with her friend Evie after losing her home, job and boyfriend at the same time. When a flat tyre and a rain storm is set to add her to disastrous day, she holds her head high and seeks to find a solution. She ends up Reeve's family vineyard. He is not very welcoming to her but there is no denying the chemistry between them.

Jules doesn't let disappointing events impact on her, choosing to pick herself up and move on. She was strong, confident and didn't back down even when Reeve was at his growly best. Reeve is hoping to sell the vineyard as a way out of the crippling debt built up by his father. Jules sees the potential and sets out trying to help. Help that Reeve wants nothing to do with.

Whilst I enjoyed this book, I didn't enjoy it as much as others in this series. I have thought long and hard as to why this might be. For me, I struggled to connect with Reeve. He kept his walls up and his cards close to his chest so it was difficult to get what he was thinking. Whilst Jules brought him out of his shell it was still difficult That being said I had warmed up to him by the end.

Returning to Sweetbriar Cove for the summer was a challenge for Jules Rivera. In one day, her whole world imploded, leaving her questioning her entire life. The final chaos, was having a flat tire in the middle of a drowning rain storm, without tools to fix it. No one was around so she accepted another challenge, hiking to a rundown winery in the distance. Jules ends up meeting Reeve Hastings, who is an annoying, surly, unwelcoming son of the owner. Reeve has been trying to save his family business since his father’s health issues and fire at the winery. Both, Jules and Reeve, have an interesting attraction that they both try to ignore. Jules attempts to use her social media skills to help Reeve, but her help is driving him crazy. This is just the start of their emotional journey.

Their passion is undeniable and very heartwarming. Add in their friends, the residents of Sweetbriar Cove, and Reeve’s father, they find their lives change forever to both good and bad. It’s a great love story of putting past occurrences away and deciding what is best for each of them. Another enjoyable book about this Cape Cod community and their wonderful cast of characters!

I am so happy to be back in Sweetbriar Cove, I love this town and the people in it. Yet another brilliant story!

This is Jules and Reeves story.

After a breakup with her boyfriend Jules found herself homeless and Jobless so she took up her friend Evie's offer to go and spend the summer with her at the Beachcomber Inn in Sweetbriar Cove, but on the way there she got a flat tyre and her ex had borrowed her tool box so she couldn't change it, miles from no where she saw a drive that led to a run down vineyard, and there she met Reeves.

Reeves lived and worked in California, but after his dad had a stroke he returned home to salvage the family vineyard, but it was in a lot more trouble than he first expected. the place was so run down and in so much debt the only think he could think about to clear it was to sell it.

follow this wonderful story of love and happiness, with the help of all the other characters that we love so much from this town and let yourself feel part of them again.

I cant wait for Rose and Nicks story as we saw them briefly in this book.

Simply Irresistible by Melody Grace
“Starting over, 4 stars”

When Jules has a bad day, she goes for gold. After the worst day, she heads to her best friend, only to have a flat tire right before she gets there. That’s how she met Reeve. They shared a spicy kissy, but she’s having a no guy summer. She needs to work on herself instead of putting her relationships first. But Reeve’s is the kind of guy who makes you question that.
Reeve is only home because he needs to figure out what to do with his fathers winery. He wants to get in and get out. Only it’s not that easy. Add Jules into the mix and well his best laid plans go out the window. Being with Jules makes him happy. The question is, will it last? And when Sweetbrair Cove gets its nails in him he starts to wonder, does he really want to leave?

I just gobbled up this book. We met Jules in the previous book with her best friend. I so loved Jules. She so deserves something to go her way because life is delivering blow after blow. Reeve doesn't make a good first impression, but he will quickly win you over. He has some swoon-worthy moves that's for sure. They both are going to find some unexpected delights while enjoying summer on the cove. I got to visit some of my favorite people from Sweetbriar Cove. That always make me happy! Every time I read a book in this series I fall in love with this small town all over again. I would recommend this one because you are going to have a hard time putting it down. It's a charming book with plenty of heart. Jules and Reeve are going to steal your heart. They are adorable together, but both need to deal some inner issues if they are going to have a shot at forever.

5-star for me! I love Jules’ positive and full-of-energy outlook in life. A challenge though her eyes is something to bring out courage and fierceness on oneself. It’s incredibly infectious and made me want to turn the page nonstop. And Reeve’s character, for me, is whom I enjoyed most out of all of the series’ list of charming men. I like the wit most especially. The plot was better than the Beachcomber 1 in the sense that Jules’ character isn’t such a damsel in distress type and represents more of a strong and independent woman. In short, I can relate more to her than with Evie.

Love being back in Sweetbriar Cove! Melody delivers a sweet sexy romance here! 5 stars for this one!

Heading back to Sweetbriar Cove wasn't top on Jules list, but she's basically left with no choice, seeing as how after helping her boyfriend reach internet stardom, he does what most men her life do, he broke up with her leaving her without a job, or a place to live. When car trouble brings her to a winery that looks deserted, she meets Reeve, and suddenly her vow to stay away from men is in jeopardy.

I enjoyed their story so much I know you will too! Don't miss out on this one, grab your copy on release day! I can't wait for more from Sweetbriar Cove!

Like most of this authors stories, they fight, make up and live happily thereafter. It is quite predictable, but a few rinkles make it interesting.
