Well, it's rather boring now. The story was going no where, except for the main character Transcending and the main plot actually in the epilog. I don't know what genre this light novel intended to be, but the plot was so slow in these 3 volumes.
To be honest, there wasn't much of a plot in this volume. Yuuya is learning more about the other world while being hunted by members of the royal family. In the real world, he's buffing up for the sports festival at school while being hounded by paparazzi and entertainment agents.
What really irks me about this volume is that there could be more of a plot written in, if the author wasn't hell-bent on making every girl he rescues fall in love with him. Some of them are chasing the male lead super hard and it's kind of embarrassing for the female population. I'm not anti-harem but when a reader loses sight of the story because of too much harem fan service, it fails as a story.
There’s a lot more fanservice in this one. It’s still a generic power fantasy. There’s an aimless rabbit subplot about holiness and evil, I guess? By the third volume I’m getting really tired of the basic “beat really strong monsters, wow everyone, level up, become even more over powered (aka remove all the stakes from fights), go to school, wow everyone some more, charm women”. It’s just boring.
