About the author

Jade Jones discovered her passion for creative writing in elementary school. Born in 1989, she began writing short stories and poetry as an outlet. Later on, as a teen, she led a troubled life which later resulted in her becoming a ward of the court. Jade fell in love with the art and used storytelling as a means of venting during her tumultuous times.

Aging out of the system two years later, she was thrust into the dismal world of homelessness. Desperate, and with limited income, Jade began dancing full time at the tender age of eighteen. It wasn't until Fall of 2008 when she finally caught her break after being accepted into Cleveland State University. There, Jade lived on campus and majored in Film and Television. Now, six years later, she flourishes from her childhood dream of becoming a bestselling author. Since then she has written the best-selling "Cameron" series.

Quite suitably, she uses her life's experiences to create captivating characters and story lines. Jade currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. With no children, she spends her leisure shopping and traveling. She says that seeing new faces, meeting new people, and experiencing diverse cultures fuels her creativity. The stories are generated in her heart, the craft is practiced in her mind, and she expresses her passion through ink.

Wow.....

I can't believe that someone really cut part of his son's ear off like that....who could be cruel like that smh. I can't wait to see when Noble finds out that Yvonne is a cop. I wonder how long can she hid wat she does for a living. Who stabbed Sami? I'm thinking it might be Antonio's wife. Great job mama! This was fire right here! Can't wait to read part 2! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

This was a pretty good read... It caught my attention pretty quickly and held my attention the all the way through... There was a mix up of characters names and I had to re read a section a few times to see exactly which character it was really supposed to be... So that paused my flow for a little bit... There was a few times that it repeated the same thing just at a different part of the book... It was reading at a nice smooth pace... Then it started to pick up as we started coming to the end... Then when everything started to happen... We are left with a cliffhanger...
Yvonne is a smart woman that works for the FBI... she just has a bad choice in men... She is constantly complaining about her boyfriend Chauncey... Yet she will now walk away from this boring relationship... And he treats her like crap... But because her family says that he is a great man and she supposedly loves him... She stays and puts up with all of it... She is a beast when it comes to her job... But horrible when it comes to her personal life... And the friendship that she has with Sami just does not feel real... They don't click well at all to me...
Sami is wild and she tries to bring out the wild side of Yvonne... But sometimes this friendship just feels forced... I just could not get a good Con with them...
Now Noble I absolutely love... He is the man... He is very discreet about how he moves... But he also has people that are jealous of him and want his position... Including some that feel that he does not even deserve the current position he has... Just as quickly as he is the top man in the organization... Things just as quickly go down hill and is starting to hit him where it hurts...
Yvonne is making moves with the FBI about to bring this big case to a head... Especially since she finally was able to infiltrate the mob... But it looks like it may all come at a very big price... Just when she is finally getting what she deserves with a man... This all happens...
Looks like Sami got herself into some deep trouble... No telling who did this to her... How will Noble be able to deal with what just happened... Who is behaving all of it... Will he find out about Yvonne before it is to late... Will Yvonne finally be able to bring in the big dogs of the organization that they have been after for years... Will she be willing to lose even that she has finally found in order to be that top FBI agent... I guess we will see in part 2...

I couldn’t stop reading this book

I like Noble and Yvonne for each other it’s just too bad that Yvonne is being with him to put him away for his criminal activities being with the Russian Mafia. I like how Noble is very protective of Yvonne and how he came to her rescue when her crazy boyfriend Chancey was beating on her she is too pretty of a women to be treated like that hopefully they can be together for real despite Yvonne being a FBI agent and as for Sami she redoing just like Chaos with their STD private parts they both deserved each other I can’t wait for Part 2 to see who will be on top and of Yvonne and Noble will love each other unconditionally

My Speculation:

The author gives the reader one entertaining read where it seems like everyone is on alert for one reason or another. I enjoyed how well I could read this fast-paced story that contained a little bit of it all from 'drama, lies, betrayal, twists and turns, and secrets' that were all over the place. By the end of the story, what will be coming next as the story continues? Who will be left standing in the future? Well, I guess we will have to pick up part two for the rest of this story.

Good Read

I really enjoyed this fast paced book. Held my attention from beginning to end and what a ending. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters and I couldn't put it down. It's full of drama, lies, betrayal and so many secrets, that keeps being exposed. That plus all the twist and turns made this a entertaining read. After the last couple of chapters and all that was revealed, I can't wait for the next installment. Good job Jade Jones.

I've read a lot of books by this author and they're typically enjoyable. I'm always amused by the Billionaire references in streetlit however, which don't TO ME, make sense. There are less than 800 Billionaires in the U.S. and guarantee the IRS, and certainly the FBI, would know who they are if they even come close to it. Legal or illegal. Still, the plot was interesting and not entirely predictable.

OMG. Definitely not what I had expected. This was a page turner for real. I thought I would be able to predict what was going to happen but I couldn’t. Noble is not one to be played with and Yvonne can definitely hold her own. Jade you have done it again, keep on writing. I recommend this book and tell you that you will not be disappointed.

A MUST READ!!!

Jade you did the darn thing with this book. It was so good. There's so many secrets that's going to come out. I love Noble and hated Chauncey. I can't wait to see what's going to happen with that ending. I can't wait to read part 2...This is most definitely a must read...btw Sami was dumb and I hope she's ok...

Omg I’m loving this book!! Damn Noble is fine n rich damn. I hate Yvonne is working for FBI because she will end up having to take him down but hopefully he romance her n she changes her mind. Damn why Sami had to die that’s gonna mess Yvonne up n wait til she finds out Noble killed her brother!! Wow this story is getting juicier I’m fixing to jump into Book 2!!!

Yvonne deserved better then Chauncey you would think he based of who she was she would have kicked his -ass. Her and Sami had self esteem issues which lead them to bad men. But Sami had them hands though lol. Now every woman needs a Noble I liked them together. But I knew trouble was coming from that snitch son. I loved this on to the next one.

This was so good, the secret with Abner will come out sooner than later. Zariah deserve what she got from Sami for mixing perm and shampoo on her hair and saying it's deep conditioning 😩🤦🏾‍♀️. I'm I hope Chauncey keep distance from Yvonne because she and Noble seems great together hopefully until he finds out what her job description is 😉 Awesome book!!
