Being the president of the Black Hearts Motorcycle Club has its advantages and disadvantages. I joined up with the Black Hearts when I was a 17-year-old runaway looking to prove himself. I moved up the ranks, and now at age 30, I'm one of the youngest presidents on record.
She isn't for people like us. She probably wants to date some guy who wears a suit and a tie to work. I can't quit this life just yet. I'm not ready to go straight right now, and that's what a woman like that would want. She wouldn't want to get involved with a man who ran drugs and illegal gambling operations for a living.
I know I should stay away from her and that she deserves better, but there is just something about the pretty, sassy doctor that just keeps drawing me in.
Her smile lights up her entire face, and I feel something shift inside of my chest. She isn't going to be one of those women who is just a one-night stand. I think she might have the power to change my life.
It feels good to be with her, maybe a little too good, and I know that if I want to keep her, I will have to make some changes in my life
Avery
I pace back and forth in the house, looking out the window at the scenery. The hospital was slow today, and ever since getting home, I can't seem to settle. All I can think about is the offer Curtis made to go for a ride on his bike. I know it isn't something that I should do because he's a criminal, and I am an upstanding and law-abiding member of the community, but there's just something about him that draws me in. I want to dig behind that charm and snark, the bad boy image that he projects, and get to know the real man underneath. I have a feeling that there is a lot more to him than being the son of terrible parents and the president of a motorcycle club.
I will not overthink this; I will enjoy it for what it is. When it ends, as it surely will because we are from two different worlds, I will have the memories of this fun and illicit affair. As much as I am starting to care for him, this isn't my world, and I don't want to be part of it.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Avery Prichard is the new doctor working at the local hospital, she has left the big city behind her to look after her father. She thought that working in a small town hospital that she had eft all the gangs and random shootings behind and she couldn’t have been more wrong it seems when she ends up treating Curtis the president of the towns MC for a dislocated shoulder. Her attraction to him is immediate but she can tell that trouble follows him, but when he calls her for help late at night after one of his men has been shot she finds herself treating him. The last thing that she thought that she would be doing was agreeing to a date or being on the back of his bike and when she is visited by a rival biker gangs President with a warning should she walk away from the danger that being with Curtis brings with him or take a chance on the town’s bad boy?
Curtis is the Black hearts MC youngest president having joined when he was a teenager e has worked his way up through ranks but being at the top and being in the biker gang is losing its sparkle. He and his men were enjoying a quiet evening in the towns local bar when the leader of the rival gang The Aces MC show up and of course they end up in a bar fight and Curtis is injured. Laying there in pain the last thing that he was expecting to find was the woman of his dreams and a Dr too. But surely she would never want to be with a man like him involved in the life that he leads. Maybe the time really has come to leave the club behind and pass it on to another generation. Just when he thinks that he could have a normal life Avery starts to pull away. Will he choose to stay in the club that has been his family since he was a teenager or take a chance on love and building a life with the woman he has fallen in love with?
This is the first book in the BlackHearts MC and what a great start, Avery was a woman who knew her own mind and he is the ideal bad boy biker. Easy read and I am looking forward to the next book. 4* Read.

Curtis is the youngest President of the Black Hearts MC at 30 years old, after a bar fight with a rival club the Aces MC Curtis ends up going to hospital after popping out his arm from the socket where he meets Avery. Avery had moved from the big city to look after her I'll father and is working as a Dr. at the local hospital. Sparks fly between the two instantly but the Black Hearts are trouble with a capital T, in to all sorts of illegal activities, could Curtis bring himself to allow Avery into that world and would Avery even want to be with a man like him after all hes done? When Avery gets reheated by the Aces MC, Curtis has a choice to make, stay with the club that became his family or give it up for a chance at love. Well written quick read of an insta hot loving biker romance. A good story line that's for a short story is nicely paced.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Curtis is the first book in the ‘’black hearts MC’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When president of the black hearts MC, Curtis, gets hurt he meets the new DR in town. Avery isn’t scared of Curtis. All she wants is to do her job and care for her dying father. When Curtis calls Avery for help at his clubhouse, will it lead to more between them?
The chemistry between Curtis and Avery is clear to see and I liked them together.
I liked that Avery stood up for herself and wasn’t afraid of the MC.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books in this series.

Avery and Curtis find love through a dislocated shoulder. He feels that life is passing him by and he wants to give up the "biker" life and start paying taxes.
Avery loves saving lives and don't realize that not only does she need saving but it's her heart that shows the biker he can do anything he puts his heart to and he chose Avery.
It's a quick romance but it don't feel it. It's one that when you know, you know. It's all about living life and not letting it pass you by. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

This is a short sweet and sexy insta love between Curtis and Avery. The author does a great job packing tons of emotions and painting her scenes perfectly. The story moves quickly and smoothly and is a great intro to a new series. I'm looking forward to the next book!

This is the story of Curtis and Avery. He is the youngest president of the Black Hearts MC. She is the doctor who helps him with his dislocated shoulder. Now they can’t stop thinking about each other. What will Curtis do when a rival gang threatens Avery? I enjoyed this romance and look forward to more. Short sweet steamy story. Bad boy biker is instantly in love with a curvy woman. Curtis and Avery have lots of chemistry together. Avery is the new doctor in town and help put his dislocated shoulder back. Plenty of action. Great start to a new series. Not a MC Book
Main Problem....a Pres of a MC ( age30) walks away because he met a good woman.....and said good woman ( at Dr. no less) had to move to.take are of Dad who.has terminal.cancer. BUT doesn't take care of him...the guy is always sleeping(?) I like a somewhat believable storyline...this isn't it..

An exciting, relatable, and engaging book one in the Black Hearts MC series! The storyline is full of passion, fast pace, emotionally deep, well written, well developed, and steamy with drama, action, suspense, danger, and more. Likeable characters; the chemistry between them is instant and amazing. Definitely recommended! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy.
