Welcome to Pittsburg, 602.Nothing ever happens in the little village of Pittsburg, that is, until it does. For fourteen-year-old Joe Anderson, that was the case during the summer of 1992. The events that unfolded following a childhood game of hide and go seek in the woods changed the face of a small town and left a mark that was forever etched into the recesses of a boy’s heart and mind. It was a summer of adventure, friendship, murder, first love, and pain. Them Bones is a coming-of-age, murder mystery novel set in a small, rural village with secrets of its own.Review by advanced reader."Them Bones must be one of the best books I have read in a long time. It was so good I couldn’t put it down and read the book in a day. This mystery was both heart wrenching and heartwarming at the same time. It had twist and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what would happen next. Very well written and great overall story lines. Will definitely read future books from this author." - Christina L.

For the first time in too long I have read a book that didn't lag or let down. I was hooked on Them Bones from beginning to end. The young characters touched my heart with their innocence and a first love that could never be, though it was not sappy in any way.
From the beginning I was hooked. I read lot, but this book was different than my normal mystery thrillers. I loved every minute of reading and sought out time to read a chapter. Worth your time, I wish it hadn't ended I enjoyed so much.
I highly recommend this book. It's a great read with a nice touch of supernatural, friendship and a mystery. I literally could not stop reading it. Made me smile, laugh and cry. A wonderful read
I was really pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this short story. Kind of a mix between the movies My Girl and Ghost. I’m looking forward to seeing more from this author.
I was drawn into this story about a missing child that he finds after a storm. Why is he finding her now, after so many years? What does he see when he looks at her? His life-long friends don't understand him anymore and he is avoiding them. He's looking for answers to questions he should not be asking. Danger is all around but what is it that no one sees?
I love coming-of-age novels, particularly thrillers, the paranormal, mysteries, horror... I loved this book. I admit that, by novel's end, I was misty-eyed. After reading the last two pages twice, I sadly closed the book. It's sad saying goodbye to characters you've become so fond of.

Met the author via TikTok, very engaging and personable. Found some parts of the book a little predictable but what few issues I had were overshadowed by good storytelling and relatable content. Excited to check out the rest of his work!
This is a young adult book about Joe and his friends that make a horrible discovery. Only Joe has different effects because he touched their find. It is a sweet and kind of sad story of what happens next. This book was a fast easy read and I think young readers would love the book. Good story.
I have this read a 4. It was a quick read, held my interest and had some interesting twist. Read it in a couple hours while I waited for the drenching storms to pass. A good book to cuddle up with a hot drink, popcorn and your favorite fur baby.
I enjoyed this book, but felt it was more in the YA genre. And minor editing changes are needed (the town was spelled as Pittsburg and Pittsburgh, etc). But overall, I found it entertaining.
