What a fantastic start to season 2 of the Reality Bleed series!

Another portal has been opened and the vicious, bloodthirsty, world-conquering aliens we had come to know and fear on Mars have now found their way to our own home planet. We are introduced to new characters scattered all over the globe as well as some familiar survivors from the earlier books in the series.

In a futuristic world of self-driving cars, robot service, and high-tech combat equipment, Earth seems unprepared for the terror that has invaded their atmosphere and, as a reader, that tension and stress was evident on every page. I loved the multi-perspective narrative, the evolvement of the aliens, the simmering pace of the plot. What can I say? I freaking loved book 5 and I am itching to see what happens next in book 6!

For those who are new to sci-fi horror like myself, the Reality Bleed series is a must read! Non-stop action, gore, and terror! You won’t be disappointed!

(Special thanks to J.Z. Foster for sending me a review copy!)

This is hands down, the best series that I've had the pleasure of reading in the last several years. It is evocative, intense, and has the style of writing that keeps you hooked for the long run. The Fall of Man, the fifth in the series, IMO is the scariest by far. This one for me at least, produced the biggest adrenaline jolt, and the growing sense of dread cloaked in normalcy grew exponentially throughout the story and really sets the stage for the next book. I cannot wait to see what they do with the rest of the series, each book gets better and better! Thank you for inviting us into your worlds!

How does this series keep getting better?
I thought season one (book 1-4) was great and ended well. No way they can keep going and make this work.
I was wrong. Book 5 ramps it up and sets the tone for season 2. I'm hooked. I don't know how I am going to be able to wait the 2 months before book 6 is released.

Both of these authors are great separately, together they are a force to be reckoned with.
I highly recommend this series.

We're now facing Reality Bleed season 2, and it's a different feel from season 1. Same blood-thirsty creatures, same desire for domination, but a whole cast of new characters. You'll meet men and women from across the globe in this alternate reality Cold War. I'm excited to see where the ride takes us.

Amazing start to the second series of Reality Bleed. There is a great and varied new cast of characters in this continuation taking place five years after the previous book. Being on earth, this installment shines a spotlight on the monstrosities that are human as well as those that are not. I loved it and as always I look forward to the next book!

I like the beginning of this new chapter! It feels like an upgrade from the previous 4 books part of the series.

It features new and interesting characters, as well as old favorites. And I like some of the new characters. The chapters like to jump across the globe to various character narratives, each feeling different.

It's also an interesting take on an alternate post-World War 2 Earth. I'm not a big history buff, so I tend to take reasonable twists of history as interesting ideas.

The alien horror part is still there. But now, it's not that much horror, since it's quite familiar with the setup of the first 2 books in the series. In place of horror, you get a presentation of action scenes and certain concepts frequently discussed regarding apocalyptic scenarios.

Knock, knock – Don’t open the door. DID YOU HEAR ME – I SAID DON’T OPEN THE FRIGGIN’ DOOR!!! Reality Bleed books 1 through 4 had all the elements of great story telling: engaging characters, sizzling plot, twists, page turners, monsters, death…. I couldn’t put the books down. There was a tiny part of my brain that reminded me that the story was on Mars so I didn’t completely ‘put myself in the story’ which is one of my measures of an epic tale. The Fall of Man happens on earth – in your backyard – down the street – ‘put oneself in the story’. It was chilling. There’s a small part of the brain that says this could really happen which ramps up the spine tingles. Knock, Knock……

Heck Yeah!!! Starting the season 2 audiobooks of the Reality Bleed series (books 5-8)
I absolutely LOVED season one (books 1-4) and couldn’t wait for season 2. The audiobooks are out of this world!! So much fun!!
In Book 5, The Fall of Man, we meet up with some OG characters, as well as, some new ones. We also get to see the beginnings of pure chaos now that these creatures have been set loose….A full on war has begun and it’s gonna get BRUTAL!!!
This book was at a much slower pace compared to the others…it’s preparing us before it ignite the flames… get ready….books 6-8 is about to blow…

This series just keeps getting better with each entry!

The Fall of Man is a wild ride with a suprising amount of depth that isn't common in this genre. It's not just about a bunch of humans blowing away evil looking aliens; there's a lot going on under the hood. This entry actually feels like a collection of multiple genres all spliced into one coherent story. There's even some political intrigue present in this entry.

Definitely my favorite entry so far. Can't wait for book 6!

Getting bleeding better with every installment. The plot thickens, the action palpable. I'm only going to read the rest of these books in bright sunlight, and with my back against the wall and try to keep my excrement inside by body.
