Threads of Thought

Have you ever had one thought lead to another, which led to another, and the cycle kept going? We know the little moments combined with the BIG moments are what create our lives. And yet, there’s so much stuff that happens in between. These poems are my reflections of the days in between the spectacular and scary. Each life is a masterpiece, a beautiful one. My hope is that my writings will leave a lasting impact on your life while allowing you to think outside the mundane. I believe your story is being stitched together, piece by piece, moment by moment, thread by thread.

I got to be one of the many illustrators in Walker's poetry book. I enjoyed seeing other illustrators' interpretation of each of Walker's poems. She explains deep thoughts in simplified ways, which helps the reader to relate to these circumstances.
