Oliver Napoleon Hill was an American self-help author and conman. He is best known for his book Think and Grow Rich (1937), which is among the best-selling self-help books of all time. Hill's works insisted that fervid expectations are essential to improving one's life. Most of his books were promoted as expounding principles to achieve "success". Hill is a controversial figure. Accused of fraud, modern historians also doubt many of his claims, such as that he met Andrew Carnegie and that he was an attorney.
I have picked up and put this book down a few times. But happy I have finished it. I found a series of dvd's featuring Bob Proctor at a second hand store some time ago. He mentioned this book as one that was central to his growth. So I tracked a copy down. He said he’s read it numerous times. I might read it through again to make sure it sinks in.
I didn’t read the kindle edition, but the tarcher perigee hardcover. But this was the closest good reads listing I could find.
So many great relatable iconic stories and historic figured mentioned in this delightfully masterpiece, this book will definitely increase your awareness on money making and money earning vision board. You ll discover many ways to think about money and it's meaning and how to acquire more or it.
Many good points that can be translated to any goals we have not just growing rich. Some concepts are dated and although he offers "scientific proof" a number of times he cites no actual studies. Has been very useful going thru this book with a group of people. Much contained that generates great discussion.
