Wow! I really liked this exciting mafia read! I was so caught up in Savannah and Jax's love story. Jax woke up in a hospital with a knife wound but does not remember where it came from, in fact he does not remember anything and has a severe case of amnesia. Savannah was his nurse and thought her patient was extremely hot but does not want to mix business with pleasure, in addition she is under the impression that Olivia, a woman that continues to visit Jax is his girlfriend. The story was mysterious and had me captured throughout the whole read. I does end on a cliffhanger so I can't wait to read the next story and find out what happens to them both. This story was steamy and adventurous and I can't wait to see these characters again. I received a review copy of this story and am leaving a voluntary honest review.

This is book two in The Utterly Betrayed Series and it is Jax's story and omg it is definitely a must read. There are problems in the camp and everything has to be carefully worked out so that nobody tips off the people that they need to catch but it is proving even more difficult to catch than it should have been and they also need to keep safe the one person that can hopefully make everything right but who can they really trust as more people's betrayal's are coming out of the woodwork and omg what a explosive cliff hanger ending. Jax and Savannah have such a strong and intense chemistry but he is in the mafia and she is a nurse that takes care of him when he is injured and has lost his memory but will it work out for them and can Jax keep Savannah safe and give them a chance of being together only time will tell what the outcome will be. I absolutely love this book and series as it is so addictive and the storyline pulled you in right from the start and kept your attention right throughout the whole book and also kept you on the edge of your seat wondering what would happen next. Hanleigh Bradley is an amazing writer and she is fast becoming one of my favourite author's and I can't wait to read the next book. I definitely recommend you read this book but remember that you will have to read book one first as each book ends with a cliff hanger ending but they are definitely worth reading.

But the truth is not what it seems and everyone becomes immersed in a mystery of power, revenge and subterfuge. Olivia's second in command has been stabbed and taken to the hospital only to find out that he's lost his memory. His nurse is the only light in his dark world, but he doesn't want her to get too close to him because of what a bad man he really is. Jax and the nurse

I received an ARC from BookSprout and am leaving my review voluntarily. It is part 2 in the continuing Utterly Betrayed series. Short read.

Olivia the Mob boss, tries to figure out how she lost control of her organization and regain control.

Emily, Olivia's married twin/kindergarten teacher, we learn she is clearly the more colder/analytical/tougher twin. Was able to fool everyone for years.

Todd, Emily's husband. Clueless but in a few weeks, he's assimilated to the mafia lifestyle.

Jax, Olivia's 2nd in command was interesting in book 1. Here he wakes up injured in the hospital with no knowledge who he is. He is attracted to nurse Savannah.

Savannah, innocent nurse who takes care of Jax. They start falling for each other.

I liked this installment of the series but the story does end abruptly and will continue with book 3.

Place Your Bet is the second installment in the Utterly Betrayed series by Hanleigh Bradley, and I must say it did not disappoint.

I love how this series. Jax who is brought in to the hospital is suffering from a knife wound and a case of amnesia finds himself falling for his beautiful nurse, Savannah.

They both find it increasingly hard to stay away from each other, especially when Savannah becomes kidnapped by Olivia's evil twin, Emily. As if the twin thing wasn't confusing enough, both Jax and Savannah struggle with their desire for one another and trying to accept Jax's life as a mobster.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love how Hanleigh writes her characters, especially their internal dialogue. She nails it with conflict. I also didn't see that little twist coming at the end of the book coming either.

The cliffhanger had me wanting more. With that being said I can't wait to read the next book.

I love that Jax got his own story. This books continues on from book 1 so I would definitely recommend you read that one first.
After waking up in hospital with amnesia, Jax has to try and figure out what happened to him, who everyone is and who he can trust.
Jax was so sweet with his nurse, Savannah, especially considering he's a mafia boss, and his job sometimes turns violent.
I enjoyed the twists in the story, not knowing who to trust or who was telling the truth.
This is a fast paced story with a insta-love romance.
Looking forward to the next book.

So full of twists and turns as well as the perfect amount of drama . Jax and Savannah, I can not express how much I loved these two together . It did not take me long to devour this phenomenal story . It’s far from easy of perfect . There is plenty of intrigue, steamy moments and emotional ones as well. Trust me when I say Hanleigh knows just how to grab onto all your emotions and keep you on thr edge of your seat throughout the entire book .

This is the second book in this great series. Jax wakes up in hospital suffering from amnesia and a stab wound. Savannah is his nurse and she is drawn to him but and fights her feelings as she does not date patients and she also believes he is taken. Jax is also attracted to her and they both struggle with their feelings. There is so much to love about this book, the drama, kidnapping and hot scenes. Cannot wait to see what happens in the next installment.

The story is well written and developed. It is an emotional journey that has you goin on the journey with them. It is a stunning story that has beautifully developed characters. The descriptions are vivid as they easily allow me to picture what is happening throughout the story. It is the second book in the series. You want to read the first one so that this one makes more sense. It is definitely worth the read.

Loving the mafia themed romance at the moment so this came at a perfect timing for me. I love Hanleigh her writing a lot and she does not disappoint here. Falling for the nurse is what Jax does and I can totally get that. He knows he needs to do something important but for the life of it he can't remember. Nurse Savannah tends to his wounds and falls for Jax also. I really enjoy the internal convo's with themselves and enjoyed this relative short story a lot.

I love a book that has me sitting on the edge of my seat with anticipation.
Yes, this one did just that.
Jax and Savannah have some great chemistry..which is another plus on my check list.
There are twists and turns and all I know at this point is that I am eager to continue the next book.
Is there a happy ending? (shake of the head), I guess you will have to just find out yourself.
What I can say is that the story was very engaging and anticipation is part of the thrill.

This book was an amazing read that hooked me from the start. It moves along at a speed which is perfect for the flow of the story. It has amazing characters that you will fall in love with and you want to be there for them. The story will grab you and keep you reading till the end and then you need more. Book two here which is full of twists, turns, and bit drama. Throw in some hot, sexy scenes, too. Winding up in the hospital with amnesia after being wounded. Family and friends worry Emily or is it Olivia, well they have their own issues. Jax's sexy nurse Savannah becomes caught in the middle of it, adding to the excitement.

An exciting sequel to Flip A Coin!
I devoured this book in a few hours. Hanleigh definitely keeps you on your toes.
We learn more about Olivia's world along with our main character Jax who unfortunately has amnesia and wakes in the hospital. Trusting his instincts he is drawn to his nurse Savannah and a slow burn ensues. I look forward to reading more about their world.

The plot thickens. Jag lost his memory after been stabbed in his own place. During his time in the hospital he meets nurse Savannah. Emily shows her face pretending to be Olivia. A wonderful story with drama, suspense and intrigue. The mystery starts from the beginning with mind blowing revelations which added excitement to the storyline. The additional twists were well crafted and perfectly placed to heightened the drama and tension amongst the characters. I enjoyed this story.

Excellent addition to the series Utterly Betrayed. Jax is an interesting and engaging MC and Savannah is a great match for him. Plenty of action, drama and intrigue. Got a nice bite of steam as well. Don’t want to give away anything in the plot here so I’ll just say highly recommended.

Interesting enough; but I didn't like that it ended on a cliffhanger with the next book not even being about the same couple. I do hope that somehow all the couples will and the loose ends will be tied up and the story has a good ending.

What a fantastic story! Who will Jax choose? Savannah or Olivia? Decisions Decisions Hanleigh Bradley did a great job bringing the characters to life. If you like mafia romance, you will enjoy this story. I highly recommend this book. Five stars from me!
