I never thought I would understand the cause my brother gave his life for, but I do now... and I’m willing to die for it too.

The dark fae are being hunted, killed, wiped from the planet like a virus. No one seems to be willing to stand up for them.

Rayne would’ve been the leader we needed, but now there’s only me.

And I might not be charming or sophisticated, but I know how to bring my enemies to their knees.

My men seem unwilling to walk away from me, even though all logic says they should. Dwade, Bron, and Lucius are fae royalty. They could have anyone or anything. So why pursue a woman who could only ever bring them pain?

And why do they seem more concerned with my life than their own?

I have one chance to save the dark fae from extinction. But what if the only way to save us is to become what I’ve always feared?

I belong in the dark. But for the first time in my life, I may have to step into the light.

How dare Andersen make me wait an extra week for this book? The previous book in this series had a huge cliffhanger and although I wasn't too worried about how it would end, I still couldn't wait to actually read it. However, I know, writers are just human and can't write faster than they can write. If she needed an extra week to write this book, I totally understand. And, without giving much away already: It was so absolutely worth the wait.

The book starts where the previous book ended and we are thrown right into the action. And from that moment on the book actually never really stops going faster and faster. It's a little bit as if the first two books, already quite exciting in their own way, were the way up and this is the long way down. While reading I had pure adrenaline rushing through my veins and once in a while I had tears rolling down my cheeks.

What I love about all the Andersen books is that they seem so light and simple and entertaining at first, but how they're somehow always about important and difficult themes deep down. And I think the theme of this story, that's becoming clearly visible in our heroine's story arc, is quite beautiful and important. Emotions can't be good or bad. If we want to be the best versions of ourselves we can be, we have to embrace all of them. We have to embrace our jealousy, our anger, our happiness and our love.

In this last book each and every character we've met and grown to love has a moment and a chance to shine and be awesome. I have to admit that I don't feel a strong connection with all of the guys, I think I might have needed a little more build up and background for them to accomplish that, but the one I do feel connected to really made me cry a few times. His storyline was so heartbreaking!

And last but not least, although this book wraps up this story arc a new one does start. With a huge cliffhanger. I can't wait to read the new series and to find out what happens!

The last book in the series and it wrapped up well. Not hard to do with a series without the build or depth needed to make it memorable, it had to bones to be great but wasn't written with enough for me to get hooked or relate to much.

It was enough for me to want to finish the series, it was entertaining enough to keep me coming back. But it was also disappointing to have a book in multiple POVs but missing their views in big moments.

Anyway, it ends in a HEA for the FMC and the 4 MMCs, they have lots of smutty smex although lacking in something that could turn it hot and make me jealous.

Even the reveal of the villain was just a wash, I couldn't remember who that guy was, I have a vague idea but the connection was weak because there was not enough to the villain to feel betrayed or angry about

I was happy to get a bit more back story and emotion from the characters in this book, but it was too late to make the difference I needed to love the series..

It could have been great, instead, it's an okay/good read

Yes, the wait was not long and we find out what happens. Esmeray and the guys find out that there is a Society of Ravens who wants to kill all the dark fae. This book is full of sadness and I literally cried several times. So not only do we find out more about Malin but it is shocking. We also find out who is behind the killings or so the head person that is controlling the society. There is a lot of fighting, and smexy times as well. It is pretty intense as to what happens and will keep you on edge. However, I will say that Esmeray, finds that she does have friends and she will do what ever it takes to save them. All our questions are answered and we get a happily ever after. This is a great series to read.

I have loved this series! From the very start of this third book you are drawn into the story and lost into this fast paced and action packed read. Secrets are revealed, twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat, there are surprises and shocks, there’s heartwarming and heartbreaking moments and there’s laughter and tears and some hot and steamy scenes. This has a little of something for everyone and this is a series I will definitely read again!

The third and final book of the Royal Fae Academy starts right in the middle action, and doesn't let up!

There's Fae society to save, a traitor to find, and families to reunite.

I read this in one sitting, as I was so keen to find out the ending! Of course, it's HEA for the main characters, but does also set up a future series in the same world.

This is a fab ending to a great series!

The third book in the Royal Fae Academy series and what a fantastic instalment!

We pick up from where book 2 ended and it’s a running start at that! Esmeray is in the clutches of the Ravens and her men are battle for all their lives. There is a new addition to the dynamic and that’s the avenue we really explore in this book. This book leads down a twisted and dark path that makes us wonder if all will work out.

The characters are so well thought out. They have a fantastic realness to them that calls out to you. The world-building and descriptions are so realistic that you feel a part of their world. Lacey Carter Anderson really does deliver a phenomenal book! A series to read for all lovers of the far world!

What an epic conclusion to this story! I was waiting anxiously for it and I am so glad I did. Everything comes to a head and it's explosive. It's steamy, yes, but the story itself packs so much into it that it's hard to not get swept in it.

Reign is the final book in Lacey Carter Andersen’s Royal Fae Academy series and this book brings things all together in a tense conclusion with an HEA.
Reign picks up where book two left off and hits the ground running. Esmeray is in danger of being killed by the Ravens and her men are at risk of being killed by the Shadow Beasts. Things are going downhill and fast because the Ravens won’t stop with Esmeray. They intend to destroy all that they have branded as dark fae and intend to assume control of all the fae. Esmeray is truly in for the fight of her life in more ways than one. All of her life she has viewed herself as one thing and one thing only…dark fae…incapable of love, never destined to have a mate, dark, evil, essentially an outcast. This book brings to light the truth from all of the characters and pushes them to accept it and themselves for who and what they are.
This book is fast paced and hard to put down. I appreciate Esmeray’s growth in this book. It’s a quick change of where she finally stops trying to push everyone away and stops acting like a petulant brat every few minutes. Instead it’s Bron that I seriously wanted to smack in this book. I really hated his bad attitude towards Malin. His jealousy towards Malin is just staggering to me. It just seems to up his hatred towards Malin because I think that he senses the connection towards Esmeray between the two of them. I know Bron is an alpha male, but I honestly kept waiting on him to try and mark his territory on Esmeray like a dog. Granted I got annoyed with Esmeray, too when she decides to play into the guys flexing games toward Malin. I thought it was juvenile and just further went to expose their insecurity to an additional male to their circle.
Now, the author includes a moment in this book that literally had my jaw drop. The reveal of the bad guy?!? OMG!! I didn’t even see that coming. But it is honestly a great reveal. I appreciate that there is an epic battle and that it’s not a “blink and you’ll miss it fight.” Things are intense and then the story, while ends well for Esmeray, there is still a bit of a cliffhanger with the author promising answers in a new series. I can’t wait to read.
Now! Despite my irritation with Bron especially, this book is worth the read. You get a couple of steamy scenes that are absolutely delicious and a bit of closure in a couple of situations. If you have read the series to this point and enjoyed it then I encourage you to pick this book up. But be prepared to be chomping at the bit for the next series to be released. LOL! I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars.

🗝️🗝️ONE PHENOMENAL CLIMAX🗝️🗝️
Holy hell Batman! Lacey rules supreme with this skillfully composed, action packed, hard hitting, heart pounding, pulse racing, adrenaline pumping, page flipping bombshell, keeping you riveted on a razors edge and frozen to your seat, blasting this baby to staggering heights. Traversing through relentless terrain chocked-full of daring drama, churning turmoil, perilous intrigue, nailbiting situations, escalating danger, spiraling suspense and unnerving encounters, along with one helluva revelation, blasting this gem to life spectacularly. You feel everything the characters feel with every fiber of your being, your drawn into this tangled web so intricately and precise, shattered boundaries are amplified and exploited, baring the fervent facts, deadly deals and electrifying escapades, wrapping this baby up sleek shiny and tight. The characters, banter, interactions and charged atmosphere are realistic, complex and genuine with traits and qualities, add depth and diversity, blending into charismatic personalities. The scenes are abundantly descriptive with colorful details that blend and flow, creating one vivid backdrop that's so rich and lively it feels as though you were transported to ground zero with them. This was an amazing ending to the Royal Fae Academy series! There is a lot at stake for the dark Fae and anyone who tries to help them. Esmeray can’t stand by and watch her entire race become extinct so she’ll give it all she has to fight, even if it means losing her life. This is the darkest in the series and also has the most action- I couldn’t put it down!
Malin is still my favorite of her guys even though he’s not necessarily a good person. Esmeray continues learning how to express and deal with her emotions and her character grows a lot during this book along with the rest of her guys, especially Malin. We get to see more of what Esmeray means to her men and how she’s helped them through much more than she ever imagined. Ann is still my absolute favorite character and I’m so glad she’ll be getting her own series!
Lacey’s work has made me feel things before, but this book takes the cake. I felt every emotion that Esmeray and her men felt and at times it was heartbreaking. Abigail’s sister managed to make me hate her even more in this book which I honestly didn’t think was possible. This book was filled with nonstop action, betrayal, steam, hatred, and love and left me wanting more even though it’s over.

Holy amazeballs!!! This book is absolutely fabulous! Right from the start, you are plunged right into the action and it never stops!! The beginning of this book picks up literally right from the end of book two and Esmerey and her guys are all in life and death situations. The guys are separated from Esmeray and desperate to get to her before it is too late but they have their own dilemmas to survive first. These characters are seriously put through the wringer – it’s brutal, gritty, heartbreaking, and more to see what this gang goes through to survive, eliminate the evil at the academy, and the threat to the dark fae.

There is so much happening in the book and it’s constant and fast-paced and will keep you on the edge of your seat. It is absolutely brilliant how everything comes together in the end. Twists and turns are constant, lies are exposed, secrets are revealed, mysteries of the dark and light fae are unraveled, and families are reunited. There are shocks, frustrations, heart-pounding moments, lighthearted and sweet moments, tragic moments, empowering moments, loving and sexy moments, laughter and tears, and lots and lots of action through it all. This book has everything and there is never a dull moment; it is amazing from the first page to the last.

Epic conclusion to this dark and adrenaline-filled series.
The battle time has come. Dark fae has been hunted and set for extinction, and the Raven society has made their move now to eradicate them. Esmeray and her mates are all badly injured, but with Malin standing firmly by their side as the last missing piece in the circle, and the truth about light and dark fae to be harvested by them, the young people actually can stand a chance, if only they found the main culprit and stopped the madness before the cost on life became too high..
Fast and action packed, the story leaves an open end for one of the characters to make way for another series, yet providing a conclusion for all the royal fae families of the East. I personally loved most Daniel's story, the way he got a second chance for life and became reunited with the long lost family. There were some really hot scenes, and most of the story used peaked emotions to drive forward, carrying the message of their importance along the whole range - positive and negative emotions alike are needed to be balanced and experience life fully.

WOAH! Hello, last book, thanks for the ride--you were worth the price of admission.

Esmeray and her guys are at their final hurdle, and I couldn't hold off two seconds for reading this book to find out what happens next. Lacey Carter Andersen left a doozy of a cliffhanger at the end of the last book, and Reign picks up right from that point. That is the only spoiler you get from me, so hold it close.

I loved this book, and it brought to attention the fact that I love the most broken dude in the rude. I have a fickle freaking heart. Bron was easily replaced once Malin was on the scene. Sorry, Bron.

This is the best of the best of the series, and it is the only ending that could possibly be. I give props to the author to drag us around by our hearts and deliver us to this point. I hope that she continues with her promises.

I want more and more.

After that epic cliffhanger that Lacey Carter Andersen left us with in book two, Ruin, the dark fae are in trouble and Esmerey wants to save them, but they aren't the only ones who need saving when she finds herself tied up and about to be burnt at the stake. Her men are also in trouble as they are attacked by the very creatures that The Society of the Ravens has created. The action never stops throughout the entire book and once I read the first page I didn't want to put it down.

We find out so much about these characters throughout the series and this final books ties everything up nicely for Esmerey and her men, and even though this may be the last in this specific story arc, Lacey doesn't disappoint us as she leaves us with another cliffhanger for her upcoming series, Stolen by Shadow Beasts which starts with book one, Shifters' Fae Captive.

I for one will definitely be back for more!

Wow from the first page your plunged straight back into the action with Esmeray tied to a stake from here we see things explode through many twists and turns, while she fights to get back to her men after being rescued by Malin. Bron, Dwade and Lucian all struggle to fight for their lives then to help fight with Esmeray and Malin for the safety of the other students when the Raven society come to collect the other dark fae.
With some steamy action and plenty of love thrown around we see them all connect to great outcomes. Plus with that ending and the look into the start of a new series linked by a character from this one. I totally recommend this what more do you need other than a wicked kickass storyline and some badass characters that you will be hoping things work out for in the end. The ending is hot and sweet too.

An exciting conclusion to Esmeray's romance

Esmeray, a fae with secrets to keep, along with Bron, Dwade, Lucian, and Malin, all fae with their own secrets, are struggling to overcome the events that befell them at the end of Ruin. As the story progresses a daring rescue is made, a few close calls are had, and if they hope to protect each other and everyone else, they must find all the snakes hiding in the grass before it’s too late. Lacey Carter Andersen has granted the reader an exciting conclusion to Esmeray’s romance, as well as provided the base for the next installment in the same world. I am looking forward to reading Ann’s story and wonder how a few of the surprises from Reign will play into that.

I read this book with my Kindle Unlimited subscription and I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

This was a great book especially if you have read all 3 which is recommended. You can read as stand a lone but you will be slightly lost. I have read them all and love them all. The characters really grew a lot in this book from the last and the storyline had so much to hold my attention in this one. It sucked me in and had me going from the start. If I hadn't been feeling so sick I would have finished in one day but I kept falling asleep not from the book and it took me three days. This books characters will make you fall in love with them and you will root for them and will wish you were with them fighting the good fight with them. I absolutely loved the book just wish I would have been feeling better when I read it as I feel like I may have missed things in my antihistamine overloaded head.

I have been big into the academy series and I have to say that this is one of my top faves. Not only that, I really do enjoy this author and her works.

I enjoy reading about characters that grow over the course of a series. Most have them but sometimes you run across a series where the character goes backwards. Not here. Esmeray, Bron, Dwane, Lucian and Malin have grown so much as a unit and as individuals. I do not want to give anything away with this series, but I sure can gush about it.

I will say a lot happens, not only is it fast paced but the plot catches you and does not let go. I can say be prepared for some shocks , tense moments, times that will make you laugh, cry and make you go aw how sweet.

Overall this was great addition to the Royal Fae Academy series and I cannot wait for more.

This is the exciting conclusion of the Royal Fae Academy series. Be sure to read the prequel and the two previous books before starting this; actually, I recommend a binge and read all four in sequence. You need all the background that went before for full enjoyment of this intense-action- and hot-sex-filled finale as Esmeray completes her harem.
This picks up as Esmeray is being burned at the stake. Help comes from an unexpected source, though everyone is gravely injured. But the final attack of the Ravens is imminent and starts before the team can fully recover. The master of the shadow beasts is revealed - a huge surprise. An intense battle and then an intense climax as the grand finale brings the book to an arousing and memorable conclusion.

This book was an explosive finale to Esmeray’s story. It was full of action, fast paced with heart wrenching moments that had me crying along with the FMC. It was such a great ending as well, I was left a little bereft when I reached the last page but it was brilliant. Definitely intrigued by Ann’s story and hope I don’t have to wait too long for that!! I love the guys, each one of them bringing their own thing to the table, Lucian, Brian, Dwade and Malin, were all wonderfully written and I definitely think Malin was my favourite. They all complemented Esmeray and she was so much fun to read. She was feisty, no-nonsense and driven to do the right thing. I recommend this book! It’s adventurous, dynamic, steamy and had my gripped from the start! Fave series, fab last book.

I enjoyed this book it starts with a bang and ends with a happily ever after. And 5 mates you can’t beat that at all. I should have read the first two books as the author advised but I did not so I was a little lost but caught up quick. You can read this alone but you would not have the back story, but you will catch on quick. I will of course read the other two at some point but I did not want to miss the deadline on this one. The story was well written and kept my interest from start to finish, mostly because there was a lot of action from the start. I am glad they got the bad guy in the end and that long lost families were reunited.

Reign starts where ruin ends Will Esmerey escape? Will Malin betray his master and save his mate ?

This Book is full of action from the get go we learn more about the light and dark Fae and how they aren't so diffrent after all and we finally get to learn the identity of the Raven master.

I Loved how malin develod in this story and how Esmerey starts to except her men and her darkness, with action from the start of the book and a few twists thrown in it's a defiant page turner.

This whole series of books has made me lol ,smile, feel anger and sadness and even cry.

I loved this absolutely fantastic conclusion to the Royal Fae Academy series. Thankfully, we didn't have to wait long after the cliff-hanger at the end of the 2nd book. This one picks up right where the last one ended. It's an action-packed non-stop thrill-ride. As Esmeray and her guys fight to save the dark fae, secrets and villains will be revealed, and some questions will be answered. This book isn't terribly long, but there is a lot going on. It ends on an HEA, but there is still more to be told. I love the world Ms. Andersen has created here, and her characters are wonderful. I look forward to whatever she writes next.

There is so much action and raw emotion is this book. Everything is intense and full of depth, from each character perspective. And I love that we get to see the different perspectives of the characters for some of the same situations, and understand their side of things, and why they feel or act certain ways. The climax of the story was breathtaking and I couldn’t put the book down while reading it. (May or may not have walked into a couple things in the process lol.) Also, the “Epilogue” satisfied my curiosity of almost every thought and question that was left running through my head by the end of the book. Highly recommend this series.

What a ending! It has so much action with so many twists and turns throughout it. Who is doing what to cause harm? Who is going to work on the side of right? These are questions that need to be answered and they are. It is extremely well written and the characters have grown so much in a short time. I love how original this story is. It has so many elements in it that just makes it stand out. It is a story that pulls you in and doesn't let go. It is a story that has immersed into and you feel like you are part of the story. This story and series is a must read that doesn't disappoint.

I loved the Series!

OH MY GOODNESS I loved this book! This series was sooooo good and I am so happy that I read this book also! I loved that this series had a fresh spin on the Fae. I enjoyed seeing Esmeray grow and also still be a bad ass through out this series. I also loved seeing her with all of her mates. I also loved Malin's ending and the happiness he found. I was also soooo excited to see a chapter about Ann and also getting to see Rayne again. I am really hoping that in Ann's book Shifters' Fae Captive that Rayne somehow comes back to life (fingers crossed) lol!

Awesome end to an amazing academy series with possibly more from this world to come :p (I hope anyway)

I am astounded by the awesome writing and the evolution of Mr Tall, Dark and Mysterious (who is obviously my favourite.

I don't want to give any spoilers but this is a must-read if you love the supernatural and academies!

If you haven't read any of this series yet (go read it lol) but also I would recommend starting at the prequel as it gives a good feel for the world.

All in all, another amazing read and I can't wait for what Lacey Carter Andersen writes next.

Fabulous job, we love you!

This is the third installment and final book in the series and omg what a way to end the series! Esmeray and her men are facing the guys that are trying to kill all of the dark Fae. Things get messy and complicated as Esmeray discovery of her mates and 1 more is added to the pile. The discovery of the fact that light and dark Fae can be mates is not only a shock to her but her new mate as well. It’s a battle of life and death as well as a test of trust as everyone battles the Ravens to save everyone.
A page turner from start to finish would love to see more just because I don’t want it to end!!!

Pulled from the flames by love and destiny, Esmeray rises from the ashes to save her mates and protect the Academy from the corrupt society willing to destroy them all. Refusing to let any other harm come to the school and students, despite their cruelty and unwillingness to accept her in spite of their differences, she and her men do whatever they must to survive. As the flames die, they know that their purpose is to protect and Reign, ushering in a new era of darkness AND light.

Action-packed and full of moments that will steal your breath and make your heart race, Lacey Carter Andersen shows us once again that where there is smoke, there will be fire and plenty of steam!
