It feels like a Christmas miracle when the job I’ve been dreaming of falls right into my lap. With the biggest event of the season looming, I have to prove I’m the right choice. But when my parents told me it was time to settle down and take over my grandmother’s company, I truly became the Grinch. Forced to dress up as Santa Claus for the company Christmas party, I never expected to meet the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen with curves that made my mouth water. Or that we’d share a hot kiss under the mistletoe that left my head spinning. She’s the Christmas present I didn’t see coming. Now all I want to do is unwrap her from top to bottom. Whit has been called home by his dad as his grandmother is dealing with cancer again and needs to retire from the business. She wants him to be CEO of her baby, Whitaker Events. Gen is just starting as the head chef at Whitaker Events and is excited that her dream is now a reality. The two keep crossing paths in that week before the big holiday employee party and then it explodes into an intense romance. Stress hits as he takes his place in the company, but their banter eases the situation. These two work and fit like a glove. Great ending a year later.

Let is be said that if at first you don’t make contact, use a mistletoe. So gen is the new chef at the Whitaker party planner agency. She meets Santa at the party because he forgot to eat before the event. He thanks her and kisses her unknowingly under the mistletoe. Everyone sees the gesture and cheers. How is it that she find out what his day job after the kiss? Yikes! But that kiss.... no cliff

Gen's life is finally going the way she wants but can a girl get the guy too? One unforgettable kiss under the mistletoe leaves Gen and Whit falling for each other. This is a short and sweet Holiday romance with likable characters and a great ending. This is my first book by this author and I look forward to reading more in the future. Short, fast, sweat, insta love Christmas Present. Whit is having a great time with no responsibility. His parents tell him that it's time to become the boss of his Grandmothers company. Not a happy camper. He's forced to dress as Santa at the Christmas Party and shares a hot kiss under the mistletoe. Gen is the new chef at the company and she shares a kiss with Santa. I love that each seem to have a sweater mostly ugly ones but hey. Gen and Whit. Whit is kind of floundering until he is called home. Gen just got her big break. This is a quick but very enjoyable Christmas time read. The characters have an instant attraction, and the story kept flowing. Of course there is that what did I just do moment. Great story.

A spirited story. Whit doesn’t want to be the Boss but, it’s time for him to put that degree to work. Or so they tell him. At the company party he sees the woman of his dreams for the second time and he’s not about to let Gen escape this time. Gen ends up kissing Santa under the mistletoe and has no idea who he really is. When she does find out will Gen lose her dream job? Will Whit reveal hisself? Put on your ugly sweater and join the festivities.

I thought that this was a cute read. Whit and Gen are drawn together and are really cute together. Gen just landed her dream job while Whit is having to give up his party ways to take over some of the family business. These two are more connected than they originally thought ( having just started at the same company) but that's not going to stop them from getting this sweet HEA. I would get recommend this book.

Kissing Santa under the mistletoe

Surprised Under the Mistletoe by Krysta Fox is part of the multi-author The Sweater series. This is the first book I have read by this author and I enjoyed it. I found this to be a sweet, OTT insta-love with a mix of Christmas, family, Santa, food, romance and a lot of unexpected mistletoe. The story is about Whitaker "Whit" Morgan and Gentry "Gen" McDonald.
Gen is a chef who hates the chef she is working under. So when the head chef leaves at Whitaker Events, the company her best friend works at she is pushed into applying when Mel pushes her into it and tells her she will recommend her personally. When Gen is offered the position she is unsure but once Mel shows her the offer letter she jumps at it. It is just before Christmas and the first big event is next week. So she needs to give notice at her job, test new recipes and work with her new staff to ensure they cook the way she wants.
Whit is the spoiled son of the Morgan family. They are rich and run a number of companies. He did get his business degree but two years on and he is still traveling the world on an extended celebration party with his friends. That is until he gets the call from his father that it is time to come home. His grandmother has decided he is to take over the running of Whitaker Events, the company she first started with her husband which they built their business empire on, and the one she loves the most. Whit is not happy but he is the dutiful son and heads back to do his duty. When he arrives and talks with his father he learns that there is more going on than he was told. His grandmother's cancer has come back and things do not look good. He resolves to carry on the running of the company and make his grandmother proud of him.
What Whit and Gen were not expecting were to find each other at the party. Gen has to glad-hand with the guests, as they will also be people who will hire the company, and Whit is having to play Santa when the person they had hired got sick and he is the back-up plan. Let's just say that Santa gets caught kissing the chef under the mistletoe and then gets busy later on upstairs in the empty offices. But what happens when Gen discovers that Whit is her new boss, the one she has not met yet? Ooops...........she has actually met him very intimately and shook more than his hand.

Whit days of nothing to do but enjoy life are finished. Now he has to take over his grandmother’s company.
Gen is not happy with her boss. Nothing is good enough for him. Luckily for her, her friend offers her a position as head chef.
Sweet insta-love, but I think the end was a little rushed. All in all, I enjoyed the book.

Whit comes home to take over the family business when his grandmother retires. Gen is just starting as head chef at the Whitaker Events and is looking forward to working for them. When Gen and Whit meet sparks fly between them. Whit knows she is the one for him but doesn't know what to do. When Gen acts impulsively and kisses the Santa at the party she has no clue who is playing Santa. This causes some awkwardness and worries when she realizes who she kissed. Can Whit and Gen find a way to be together?

This is an amazing holiday story that will put you in the spirit. this is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This quick holiday read was a great story. I enjoyed the little game between Santa and the Chef finding each other at the party. The plot was fantastic and created such a happy ever after for the two characters. I enjoyed watching their interactions and was pleased with the ending.

I give this a four out of five stars. It was a great quick holiday read for the Christmas season. The plot and characters were great, much like a Hallmark movie.

He has to dress up as Santa and he cannot stand it; especially when he is asked to dress as Santa. He changes his mind fast when he kisses Gen under the mistletoe. Now Whit has to convince Gen that they will get their HEA.

Another fantastic read in this series. The story is well written, holiday themed, amazing characters with amazing chemistry. It is a quick and easy read. A great book to grab a cup of tea and to get away for a bit. I am enjoying this series. Looking forward to read the next book.

Santa is not coming so Whit needs to step in at the last minute. Everyone is happy!! Whit's mom was getting him something to eat when she's pulled away, so he asks Gem to take the food to Santa. Santa is happy the he gives her a kiss and it happens to be under the mistletoe. After the kids he can't wait to see her again.
Gen just got the job being the head chef for the Whitaker Event Planner. She goes up to the office to get something when Santa walks in to give her a gift. Neither one knows what each one is at the party for. Whits Grandmother made announcement that her Grandson is taking over. Gen is shocked, she runs into the kitchen but Whit finds her and he takes this chance to ask her on a real date. He is thrilled she said YES! Their life only grows from that day foreard.
