The year is 1918 and the fishermen of Harbour Breton have started another summer fishing season. The First World War is coming to an end and the men of Newfoundland are returning home to their loved ones, trying to get back to the lives they left behind. They unknowingly return home with something that will change their lives, as well their family's lives, forever.
