Rose is back in her world with her new sister Lucy, although she can't help but miss her friends from a world away. One night, her unpredictable powers send her and Lucy back to the place she missed so much, with all of its dark and twisted dangers. The Drainer is back, and he wants something from her. She has limited time to give it to him, before she and her friends have to pay the deadly consequences.

About the author

C. Casarico was born and raised in Vermont, and has been writing since the age of 10. The Rose Petal, the first in The Rags and Riches series, is their debut novel. Their favorite way to revise is reading passages of their novel to their mom or their dog.

Always happy to be back with the gang! This book definitely ramps up the danger and the adventure and it’s exciting to see more of the world. I won’t say anything thats spoiler-heavy but there are definitely some twists in this one that hurt the soul. Excited to see how the gang manages their way on.
