This is the first in a series of the most incredible, life changing books for homeschooling parents. Now OOP but definately worth searching for. I can not begin to list all the ways it has changed my life, not just schooling my children. Marilyn's books lead the reader to Christ and Christ will lead every area of your lifestyle of learning.

She explains that a lifestyle of learning starts with the parents continuing thier learning experiences through out life. By living that out for our children they will naturally grab ahold of every opprotunity given them, and search for answers of thier own. They will own what they have gathered because the information is important to them and the person that God intended them to be.

Please do not mistake this as Unschooling. We as parents have the resposiblily to guide our childrens learning by using what interests them. She highly recommends productive free time, by that I mean time without TV, video games, and the like. Instead provide the tools needed to pursue thier true interests.

I am only touching the surface of Marilyn's message. I have over 15 of her books and more newsletters than I can count and I find myself re-reading and referencing all of them continually. There is that much information and wisdom contained in them. If I only had one resource avaliable to me in our home learning adventure this is what I need.
