Micah is struggling with demons of the past. He is always angry.
His brother Gabe married Sarah five months ago and she use to help with the horses, she would gentle them and ride but now he thinks Gabe is not allowing her to work with them. But when Gabe tells his brothers that it isn’t safe for her in her condition they realise she is going to have a baby, this sets Micah off into another fit of anger and he goes into town to drink.
Selene is arriving in town on a coach. She is to marry a man she has been writing for months. Clarke should be there to meet her but he hasn’t shown up so the driver tells her to check the saloon. When she finds out Clarke is a criminal she nearly fainted. She meets Micah and he says he will take her to his ranch to stay as a guest.
Fantastic story. I enjoyed reading this book.

This is the second book in A Bride for the Lonely Soldier series and this is Selene and Micah's story. Selene came to Fort Towson as a mail order bride for Wayne Clark, but when he was not at the stage to meet her she went looking for him at the local saloon. When Micah realized who she was he convinced her to come with him to the ranch where she would be safe. Wayne Clark was involved in a cattle rustling operation and Micah wanted to use her for bait to capture Wayne as well as keep her safe. Micah was not looking for a wife but as he got to know Selene he realized she was just what he needed. After many twists and turns as well as discovering secrets from the past will they finally find a HEA ending?

Micah and Selena
This is a sweet mail order bride tale with a twist. This story was written by Indiana Wake and Belle Fiffer. They have done an amazing job with the plot and the characters both new and recurring ones. Selena was to be the mail order bride for a man that was a criminal that had escaped jail and was now on the run. Micah took Selena to his families ranch until Selena knew what she would do. You will enjoy discovering how Micah and Selena find their happily ever after.

Selene was on her way to meet her intended she had been writing to for months. Wayne Clarke seemed like a wonderful man and she had fallen in love with him through the letters. However, when she arrives to Ft Townsen, he's nowhere to be found.
Micah is in a perpetual bad mood. With good reason, but he has never spoke about his pain to anyone. When the lovely Selene Benjamin enters his life, will the walls guarding his heart be broken down?
I loved this story, but once again, it was way too short! Looking forward to Bart's story next 😊

I received an ARC of this book from the author, Indiana Wake, via Bookfunnel and this is my voluntary and honest review. This is a wonderful story about Selene and Micah and how they met and fell in love. This is the second hook in this A Bride for the Lonely Soldier series. Each book is a standalone but each book has recurring characters from one book to the next so are best read in order. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy clean western romance books.

Another great mail order bride story, Selena arrived by stage coach, wiring for her husband to be. No one showed up, the driver told her to go to the saloon and Lee, the bar tender, could point him out, if he was in the bar. She did no sooner than entering, a drunk, stood and was pursuing her. Micha was in there and he intervened with the lady and drunk. He found out she was looking for Wayne Clark, the man who almost killed Gabe with a knife. He told her, he hold escort her to the ranch, thinking Clark Would come for her.

Great!
I love how Indiana Wake weaves her stories so you continue to follow the characters in one book to another. We got the story of Micah and Selene, but got to continue with Gabe and Sarah!
