Woah!! That cranked up a notch or ten!! Most brutal of the Snuff Network books by far. Some bits were quite a tough read, but very well written. This has to be the most I've grimaced throughout a book. I love that Jon Athan comes up with so many different and brilliantly inventive ways of torturing someone. Yes!! Yes!! Yes!! To more Snuff books please Jon!!!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

Excellent

A fantastic ending to the Andy Wu/ Mr Snuff saga. This read was filled to the brim with , blood guts gore and revenge. Loved the characters and how they come together and each with there own individualistic views but all with the same cravings of revenge. Taylor was complementary with them and against them, you could imagine his turmoil.
It was an excellent read from beginning to end and a must for extreme readers alike. So I yes I recommend.

As I’m writing this review, I have read 39 Jon Athan books. Kill Wu is officially number 40. And I must say… this may just be my favorite of his.

Kill Wu is cinematic- as close to an extreme horror epic as you can get. Nonstop action while combining elements from the other 3 novels in the Snuff Network series. You can tell Jon Athan put a lot of time and effort into this one.

To all Jon Athan and extreme horror fans - READ KILL WU (And all his other books while you’re at it). But especially this one. This story is incredible and could be its own tv show.

SNUFF SERIES FINALE

Extreme blood, gore and violence! I enjoyed this snuff series. The ending wasn't predictable, I wanted Wu running scared and begging for his miserable life.
I liked the endings for Bradley, Ren and Misty.

I enjoyed the books leading up to this one in the series, but this one let me down. It was way too long in my opinion with excessively long fight scenes. I have NO problems with gore, but when a woman can get shot IN THE THROAT with a cross bow and still have some fight in her, the stakes arn't very high. I feel like so many people got things jammed into their necks but were only stunned.

Along those same lines, I really felt like the torture was watered down by how much it's used. You can only read about someone getting genitals mutilated so many time before you start to think that these people have supernatual pain tolerances. The previous book had that stoning scene which was pretty viseral to me, but then the scene in this books where a woman slices open her stomach, and has a guy rip out her baby with his hand, and she can STILL move is too much. I stopped caring about death because I had no idea what could actually kill these characters.

A problem that I had with the whole series, was that everyone kept talking about Andy Wu like he was a master of crime and almost omnicant. However, everything in the books showed him to be an absolute moron. It seems like anyone with a handgun can take out one of his sites. Additionally, the fact that this guy felt the need to flee to Japan because 1 of his "drop in the bucket" studios were taken out.

I have read all our four books in the series and have no complaints.. The right amount of violence to make the story believable. There was plenty of action and the main characters where developed over the series books.
I have a few minor issues:
1. I did not like the ending, I don't think a man like Wu would of given his empire away and I don't think he would of left himself in the position of being killed. I feel he would of escaped earlier to an other country and he would of being well guarded throughout. He had the money and the contacts to help him escape.
2. The other issue I had was the amount of series injuries they sustained, they would of being in hospital not able to walk and continue their crusade.
3. My final issue, during a torture scene in one of the books, there is a plastic bath filled with acid. How is this possible, surely the bath would melt.
Apart from that I would recommend these books and hope their will be a sequel.
I also believe the characters would of found better weapons on the Japanese black market.

Fantastic end to a brilliant series! The Snuff Network books are among my favourite of Jon Athan's books. At 392 pages (and with a notably smaller print than his other books) Kill Wu is at least twice as long as anything else he has published. I'm pleased to say Athan's first full-length novel is just as gripping and fast-paced as his novellas.

Mr Athan (Jon?) - you asked us to make ourselves heard in reviews if we wanted another trilogy set in the same universe. My answer is a resounding YES. Please do continue the series!

Kill Wu is an exceptional ending to the "Snuff Network" novel series. There are some great kills and actual resolutions to many of the plots that started in the earlier books, although not all of them are happy endings. My only criticism of the work is that I felt Wu's ending wasn't brutal enough given what he's done to so many people. That might have to do with overall personal bias as I've read the series and eagerly anticipated his demise. Still, it's a thrill ride from start to finish that perfectly ties up all the loose ends.

Finally finished book 4 and this was a monster of a book around 400 pgs. There was 4 people who traveled to Japan to seek revenge. Even though 1 was a local gambler, and there is no detailed story on his background. Just a short synopsis.
The first 3 standalone was all brought together in this finale of Andy Wu, I mean Mr. Snuff.
Author wrote final notes in back of book about another set of standalone but that was 5 years ago and no book has been written yet.
I enjoy your stories Mr Athan. I hope you keep on writing for generations to come.

Incredible, gory ending for an amazing saga

The Snuff Network series got better and better with each novel. While it’s stated that there’s no particular order, I highly advocate going from Mr Snuff to Ms Vengeance to Dr Sadist and ending at Kill Wu. It just makes sense and works well. Kill Wu knocked the ball out of the park! I loved it and it was difficult to put down. The violence and gore was certainly turned up to 11.

In this novel, Athan not only showcases his human anatomy knowledge but also you can learn some Japanese! Hai!

I can’t give enough stars man

This book series is definitely getting bought for my bookshelf come NOW. This was just amazing. The amount of detail in all the gore and torture was just…. Chefs kiss. Maybe I’m a little sadistic 🤣 don’t read this if you have an easy stomach cause lord. lol. But damn is the storyline SO good. I would love some signed copies!!!

Killer story

Enjoyed the characters and the constant slice and dice activities. One thing I had a problem with was how could Ren survive being stabbed and stabbed , and stabbed? I hope you do continue the series.

If you can stomach it

You won't be disappointed in the action, vengeance, and loss of NONE of the heroes in this series. An interesting and enlightening series that stirs the knowledge that Mr Wu exists somewhere.

Ahhhhhhhh this final entry in the series if freaking incredible, all the build up pays off in such a great story with incredible brutality, honestly my rating scale wasn't equipped for how much I'd love this book it's like a 7/10 which isn't possible I know but that how great I found it.

Jon Athan's books never dissapoint.

Loved the Wu grand finale. Hope there is more of the Snuff Network on the horizon. Looking forward to reading any book Jon writes.

I Ended last month reading the groomer by Jon Athan and started this month reading this series. I finished all 4 books in a week. I loved it and thought the ending was a good wrap up but also left it open enough for more, please write more books for this series or a spin off .
