Outspace is the hot, shiny, new game-of-the-moment, and after being recommended it by a friend, Erin decides to give it a go. Initially sceptical, she soon finds herself engrossed to the point where she real-life and virtual reality begin to blur... Or is she just imagining it?
I know the art will put a lot of people off, but I found it really charming. I thought the parts that take place on a screen were clever and well done. Overall, a sweet and relaxing comic!
Although the art style is very busy, it was very easy to follow! I love the wonky lines and bright colors. The dialog is a bit stiff and the ending is a bit abrupt, but the plot-twist left me reeling!!!
Such bright and inviting colors! The lineart is gorgeous and invigorqtes each page with a sense of movement and energy. Finding works like this is one of the reasons I love Shortbox!!
