Their protégée burned the world alive. Literally. Now, this immortal duo will have to piece it back together.... or forever face the consequences.

Every 500 years, a Flama is born to cleanse the world through the gates of Heaven, or purge it of evil through Hell itself. That choice was made six months ago. Now, humanity wavers on its last hope…

Dante’s angelic superiors have a few choice words to say about his handling of the phoenix shifter in his charge. Rather, his ex-charge, considering Katya has well and truly disappeared. And while he’s happy to be back in the Silver City, his mind won’t stop spinning. Nor can he stop himself from asking questions the archangels have no wish to answer.

Daymun’s back in Hell - and bored out of his mind. Things he used to enjoy have now become tedious, and he finds himself unable to get Katya out of his mind. He needs answers, and if he has to turn the world upside down to find them… Well, he is a demon, after all.

With the last of humanity on the threshold of extinction, this unlikely duo will find themselves dragged into a mess they have no hope of untangling. Despite their opposite natures, will they join forces to ensure there’s a world left standing…and for them to live in?

FALLEN is the first novel in a new urban fantasy series set in the same universe as BLAZING ASHES. Join in on the supernatural action as angels and demons clash in an ultimate battle. Disclaimer: contains violence, is not reverse harem nor paranormal romance.

Alexa Whitewolf is a fiction writer, newspaper columnist of daily issues and author of the critically acclaimed Moonlight Rogues shifter series.

Alexa has been a lifelong writer and first began creating other worlds and characters at the ripe age of 12. Growing up in the Transylvania region surrounded by epic mountains and a never ending stream of legends and stories was bound to create an overactive imagination. This shines through Ms. Whitewolf’s writing by creating worlds filled with unique folklore, life wisdom and plenty of furry creatures.

An avid traveler, Alexa writes under a penname and spends her days between an office job and writing, in Canada’s capital when she’s not flying somewhere with lush landscapes and plenty of hiking trails.

Her series focus on strong heroines, kind yet sexy men, fights of good and evil and the never-ending learning curve of humanity’s strong – and weak – points. Romanian folklore is intertwined with her writing, more notably in her shifter romance series, the Moonlight Rogues. Her other series draw on world mythology, such as the Avalon myth and Arthurian legend (the Avalon Chronicles) and Ancient Egypt (The Sage’s Legacy).

You can follow her blog at www.alexawhitewolf.com/blog or on social media. Her column in Observatorul also tackles various issues, including health, technology, and a writer’s life.

Alexa Whitewolf has created a new world, new drama and new romance as opposites are attracted like moths to a flame. Heaven and Hell, angelic beings and demons, and a shapeshifting phoenix who has become the pivotal point in the extinction or salvation of humanity will play out a drama with an outcome that still remains unclear.

Welcome to the Demoni Sancti series and Alexa Whitewolf’s FALLEN that brings two unlikely allies together in a tsunami of what could be epic proportions.

Can Daymun and Dante find a way to save humanity? Have their opposite natures become a magnetic alliance that goes against all sense?

Once again, Alexa Whitewolf colors outside the box and once again, she has achieved a masterpiece for urban fantasy lovers to latch onto. No wasted words, a constant stream of action and tension and characters that burrow into one’s mind and heart!

I received a complimentary ARC edition from Alexa Whitewolf! This is my honest and voluntary review.

Alexa Whitewolf introduced readers to an addictive world with Blazing Ashes, now with the Demoni Sancti series readers will get to see more of the world. Although Fallen, the first story in the Demoni Sancti series, is set in the Blazing Ashes world, it works perfectly fine as a standalone read. There is enough information to get you up to date, with Fallen introducing readers to all the fun that is to come.

Although a novella, Fallen packs plenty into the pages to ensure readers have plenty of questions and idea about where the series is to go. We’re introduced to the good, the bad, and everything in-between, with nothing being clear cut and everything being questionable. As always, Alexa Whitewolf introduces a storyline that outside of the mainstream, details that are based upon mythologies that will have you wanting to go and dig deeper into these stories. It makes for fabulous urban fantasy reading – packed with what fans of the genre want, but with a unique twist that leaves you wanting more.

Without a doubt, Fallen is a great start to the Demoni Sancti series. I cannot wait to dive into the rest of the series, as I’m super excited to see what comes next for the characters. If this is anything to go by, Alexa Whitewolf has another addictive series lined up for readers.

This is book one of the Demoni Sancti series and has an angel called Dante and a demon called Daymun, who have been acting as Guardians for the last twenty five years, for the latest Flama to make their decision on whether to cleanse the mortal world by unleashing heaven or hell upon humans. A Flama, a phoenix shifter, is only born every five hundred years and has to undergo three trails, before they make their decisions. Dante was sent as a guardian for Katya, the Flama, by the archangel Gabriel, whilst Daymun was sent by the main Prince of hell himself, Lucifer. In all previous cases, once the Flama made their choice, they were killed or died, but that part wasn’t made clear to either of them. They were each under orders to try and sway her decision to the good of their own people, either heaven or hell.

This time the three trials were extended to four, something never heard of before and each trial took a terrible toll on Katya. Dante had to take her to the monastery where Archangel Michael lived on Earth, for help to heal her of what she went through, and Daymun himself ended up having strange protective feelings towards her, which as a demon he should never have had. Katya met and fell in love with someone from the Dacian tribe and both returned to their former lives, once she made her choice. Dante returned to the Silver City of heaven, but with the Flama’s choice being to release demons into the mortal world, his superior isn’t best pleased and he doesn’t exactly get a great welcome home. Daymun has pretty much the same, with most of the seven princes of hell being away, and only one of the princes there to show his displeasure and inflict some pain on him.

In both heaven and hell, matters don’t seem to be quite as they should and both angel and demon make their way back to Earth to try and find out what really happened. It seems instead of leaving humans to make their own mistakes and not interfering, some demons and angels have done just that! Influencing the very outcome the Flama decided upon. When they return, even though to them it has only been a matter of days, some six months have passed in the mortal realm, with whole swaths of the world destroyed and humans either killed, tortured or made into playthings for the demons fun. Humanity is on the threshold of extinction and they find out from the very man who protected katya, Mihai of the Dacian’s, in Romania, that this was the very outcome that was wanted by some. A huge shift in the balance of power has begun, as human numbers are greatly reduced, exactly what will bring about the return of beings known as the Ossi or the Enlightened Ones. They are millennium years old and were created at the same time as the first Flama, but ended up becoming far more powerful and banished from the realm.

Now, the Flama’s decision has resulted in not just demons escaping onto the mortal realm, but also lots of other creatures from different realms and even Fae. Each of these dark creatures are gaining powers on Earth, with what would normally affect them, not working anymore. Werewolves are able to shift at other parts of the moon’s phase, rather than just the full moon, vampires can venture out into the early morning sun, and so much more. All are getting stronger, as the darkness spreads. Dante and Daymun find once they came to Earth, they can no longer return to their respective homes, supposedly as a punishment for doing something wrong during their time on Earth! Now the pair have to figure out exactly what is happening and if they can manage to untangle the mess the world is now in. It seems a group of angels and demons have joined together, fed up with how much time the Creator spends on humans and wanting some of the power for themselves. An unbalance has been created and if mankind are killed off, then their immortal lives will never be the same. Katya is still alive and they learn Daymun should have been told to kill her, once she made the choice in hell’s favour! Another twist to the tale. The pair must work together, even from such different sides of the fight, to ensure any sort of future for mankind. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

“Fallen” is the first installment in the brand-new “Demoni Sancti” series by Alexa Whitewolf, which follows the interaction of two opposite supernatural beings in their struggle to keep the world turning 😊

Every 500 years a supernatural phoenix shifter is born with the task to renew the world, by choosing to cleanse humanity through the Gates of Hell or fully purge it through Hell itself. This turn shifter is Katya, who has disappeared while humanity remains in the verge of extinction, a fact that puts Dante and Daymun in somehow “charge” even if they have not real inkling of how to detangle the mess.

Dante is an angel, who – after Katya’s ordeal – has become somehow critical and keeps asking questions, no angel should ask and the archangels themselves for sure don’t want to answer. Daymun, his counterpart, is a demon that after returning to Hell is bored… to hell (pun very much intended) and unable to forget Katya. With the world about to end, and the danger of an apocalyptic battle between demon- and angelkind, both Dante and Daymun will have to do the unspeakable…. join their forces into an effort to save the world and assure there is a place for them to continue on living.

Alexa Whitewolf verse is rich, complex and soooo entertaining. The story is very well-written, fast-paced and action-packed. Dante and Daymun are an unending source of fun, joy and witty situations, and at times even indistinguishable from another to the fully amusement of the reader. A wonderful book, whose only downside is that eventually ends, but do not despair…. is part of a series 😊 I can’t hardly wait for the next one!!

“Demoni Sancti” is a series set in the very same universe as the stand alone novel “Blazing Ashes”, and while no previous knowledge of the novel is strictly necessary to enjoy “Fallen”, I recommend the novel nevertheless, just because is a great book and utterly entertaining 😉

My favorite duo is back. :)

Fallen is the first book in a brand new series Demoni Sancti. We follow Dante and Daymon💜 as they faced the aftermath of Katya's choice. She is Flama, being born every 500 years, that has to choose Hell or Heaver for the world. She burned the world in flames.

They are not sure if she is alive or dead, but things are bad. Dante gets a very cold reception in Heaven. He notices strange things happening. And the same happens to Daymun. Nothing feels the same, as before his 25 years on Earth.

Back on Earth, in order to investigate, they discover bits of the truth, of what is really going on and it's not good. It will be up to them to try and save the Earth.

I love the writing, it's face-paced and witty. And I just love characters, they are the complete opposite, maybe that's why they work so well together and their interaction are hilarious. :) But... Daymun is by far my fav. :)

Great start of the new series, looking forward to seeing more. :)

When Katya chose to unleash the furies of Hell (Blazing Ashes), both Daymun and Dante were confused about her choice. Little did they know that they were just pawns in a game being played out by a joint group of Demons, and Angels who were angry at the amount of time The Creator was spending on humans.

Neither Dante (on his return to Heaven) nor Daymun (on his return to Hell) received the welcome they were expecting. Especially Daymun, who was expecting a celebratory welcome from Lucifer, as it was his realm that Katya chose.

It doesn't take them long to realize that something isn't right. They are both surprised to learn that Katya is still alive and that as she chose Hell, Daymun was supposed to kill her. This was something neither of them were told, and something that Daymun would never do. Now there were demons searching for her.

When they both find that they have been barred from entering their realms, Daymun and Dante band together to try and find a way to save mankind, for without them to keep the balance, the world is doomed. Happy reading. Annemarie

This book continues after the Flama, Katya chooses Hell. Dante is an angel. Daymun is a demon. Their purpose for the last 25 years was to watch and protect the Flama. But now it appears they are being hunted by demons. They realize they have been pawns to a bigger scheme they have to figure out. Did the angels and demons work together against their own rules? If they did, why would they do this? They need to figure out what is going on and why they are being attacked. The world is out of balance and they have to save humankind. This was the first book in the Demoni Sancti series. It was filled with a lot of action and a mystery that Daymun and Dante must figure out. The story keeps you on the edge of your seat. Daymun and Dante are great characters which have evolved over time and are now friends on a mission which will continue in book two. I am definitely looking forward to reading the next book. Hell has been released on earth. Humans are at the mercy of damnation. Something just isn't right. Dante returns to heaven. He is defeated and discouraged reunited with his friend he hears rumors and leaves heaven to see what's going on. The same thing is happening to Daymun when he returns to hell. Instead of being applauded he's ignored. Something is terribly wrong. Then he hears that the Flama is still alive. What the hell happened? They both end up defending each other and are locked out of heaven and hell. Why? What is it that has happened? Intriguing and enlightening. A great read making you want more.

Dante and Daymun are back and front and center in a new series based in the same world as Katyas story and takes place 6 months later. It was interesting and kept me reading with its mix of mystery and suspense as Dante and Daymun start to question what had happened when Katya went through her trials. It did a great job luring me in and keeping me reading to see if something really was off about what lead to Katyas choice and why. The suspense and mystery combined with their views of their homes was interesting. Watching them try to go back to how they were was a riot. Just a fun story that kept me guessing.

Katya decided that humans weren’t worth salvaging and opened the gates to Hell. After everything she had endured that was her choice. But as the demons invade Earth and kill humans, Daymun and Dante return to their realms and do not get the welcome they hoped for. Daymun is not lauded a hero for Katya’s choice, And Dante is not berated for losing. Something isn’t right and both come to the realization that someone or several beings interfered in her trials. But what they find is disturbing. Angels and demons working together to eradicate humans? Now they have a choice. Work together to stop what is happening or let Earth dissolve into chaos. And what of Katya? No Flama has ever survived her choice they there are rumors she is alive and both sides are looking for her. I love the relationship between Dante and Daymun. They’re a great duo and had me cracking up all the way through. The book raises some moral questions – which I always like – and handles them well. Fallen is the perfect balance of funny and thought-provoking.
