Very good book with a bad intent

The author is full of wishful thinking when it comes to defending 'his' heroes, but does not acknowledge personalities like Periyar is okay, but he denies any contribution?? For anyone who can judge the world by what he sees, observes and inteprets can easily understand what would have happened in the past. Few selective beautiful trees and British upper class authors are not required for us. Our grandfathers and forefathers have told us clearly about the lives they lived. The book is good with lot of 'selective' and 'wishful thinking' information. Interesting too.. but the intent and agenda are obvious. I wholeheartedly rate this book with a one star.
