Every reader has their own preferencs in terms of genre. Some like mystery ,some go for romance while there are few who admire adventures tales mixed with occasional humor . And this ecstatic work is an amalgam of all which makes it the most likeable .
The book is woven around an ancient secret which is guarded by Neelkanda , revelation of which will bring destruction . The story then shifts to the present and the secret is shown to bind lives of three millenials namely Nilagriva, Sindhoora and Jeeva. The story moves back and forth covering the major parts of Tamil Nadu giving a glimpse into the enchanting state which is waiting to unearth various secrets spanning lives of various people over centuries.
The book has everything ranging from exclusive thrill to some light moments. What makes this novel different from its counterparts is it is partly based on facts as well and still the readers keep on second guessing what is to happen next. Author firmly believes that every village encapsulates a story inside it and the way she narrates the events speaks volumes of her talent. A book that will bind your attention like no other

If you are looking to read a book that has suspense, drama and emotions with a little bit of romance, then this book is really for you. The mystery filled book keeps us guessing until the end but instead of just an imaginary chunk, it mixes intrigue with facts. Such a beautiful roller coaster ride and the confluence of multiple emotions from the ancient and contemporary world.
A good plot, very well-paced and keeps you engaged.
The author believes that there is a story in every house, every village and every town. Her dream is to write novels that represent the vibrant heritage of every state in India. Capturing the varied cultures and weaving their richness together to create stories is her aspiration.

Amazed by how the author managed to bring all these aspects together

Review :- If i had option i would have rated this book 10/5 . This book is such a roller coaster which i wanna travel on again and again . I dont know how the author managed to bring so many aspects together in such a flawless way . The story weaved together mythology, romance , ancient secret , contemporary issues , murder mystery , traditions , temple architecture and more .
This fast paced story is such a page turner and the heading of chapters like :- the mystifying death , the accidental confrontation , the night of contemplation , the pool of hearing water are so catchy that the excuse of putting the book down just after this chapter doesnt even work , you just sit there wanting to know more and more. The scenes are depicted in such a wonderful way that it makes you visualize everything just in fornt of your eyes . Unlike other fictional plots the story is filled with facts and still you keep guessing till the end . I loved the wonderful adventure this book took me on . Glossary at the end is such a relief . I would recommend it and cant wait for more books from this author .

This one is absolutely captivating! You won't be bale to put it down. Stunning work by author Viji Venkat. I'm already kicking away with part 2. Congratulations!

A light and entertaining read!. A good plot, very well paced, and keeps you engaged . The story takes us through the vibrant temple cities of Mylapore and Chidambaram, weaving in ancient history/myth stories across different generations. Fun read that you can whip through in a few days.

An interesting blend of the modern and the ancient
A riveting story line. A nice blend of the modern times with the ancient history and some mystery. The temple towns and villages of Tamil Nadu beautifully described. Would be wonderful to see this plot on the silver screen some day.
