Traveling across Route 66 as a child became a formative background for the author. After going into the ministry, he longed to have a direct experience with the land of Scripture like he had with America. Between 1989 and 2011 he and his wife led five spiritual pilgrimages to the Asian and European continents. This book is for all those who have traveled to biblical sites, who are planning to travel, or wish they could. It seeks to bring the Bible alive so others can either imagine or remember seeing the locations, hearing the sounds, and smelling the fragrances of those far away places.
