An Amazon Charts International bestsellerIf you enjoy Nelson DeMille, Ken Follett, John Grisham or Dan Brown then you will love Ido Graf! This suspense novel recounts a political conspiracy to subvert the democratic process and National Security in the USA and the West by far-right groups and a serving President. But why?' It has a basis in fact."If ever a novel was ready to be made into a feature film it is this one - action, thrills, mystery, historical intrigue and romance, it has all the ingredients for the big screen. (See Glass) ...grabs you from the very start as its clever prologue leads into 400 pages of rip-roaring adventure, the mostly short chapters - think James Patterson - meaning you often read for that little bit longer before turning out the bedroom light as you're gripped by the action. Our hero is a swashbuckling James Bond meets John Wick, our heroine a Lily James-type gorgeous damsel in distress and the story romps along at 100-miles-an-hour." Jeremy Ransome, Editor, Spalding Guardian, UKA former Legionnaire had been working as a journalist in Paris. He met a mysterious American by chance when the latter sailed into a quiet fishing village nestled in a remote Andalusian bay. The sailor was ex-special forces and his background, part Jewish, Hispanic and Polish, had dictated his path in life. The yachtsman was also a former Legionnaire and he explained that he had been working in private security. Uncovering a secret - he told a story that at first seemed to be fictitious."Great story!" & "The author himself has had a very interesting life, which makes this book even more believable. He's an excellent writer and tells a very interesting and descriptive story. It's very Dan Brown and Tom Clancy-ish. ...I think it's fiction, but makes you wonder..." Darcey Spensley, Monticello Express, USAHowever, the journalist began to question what he had been told. The violent deaths of an elderly Swiss gentleman and two of his gamekeepers in a lonely house in the English Shires served as the catalyst. The various strands of the frightening story began to come together. What followed was a life-and-death hunt for a secret that had its birth amid the destruction of Berlin in 1945. Will the love of a beautiful woman de-rail the events? There were those within the Intelligence and Espionage agencies of the Middle East, Europe and the United States who struggled to come to terms with the enormity of the crisis. There were others within the corridors of political power who wished to prevent that secret from seeing the light of day. They will stop at nothing to reach that aim. When justice sleeps the devil comes out to play! Is it a story with no hero? A thriller with a premise so frightening that it must not be true! The See Glass conspiracy novel was described as reminiscent, '...of "The Odessa File" & "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" '.One former U.S. Navy man described the See Glass action & adventure novel as having a style which, '...is very "Tom Clancy". Exciting storyline with real-world events as a backdrop. Another Clancy trademark you have is utilizing real-world existing/former agencies and military units.'This thrillers recounting of a political and military conspiracy so great that it could, at best, topple the old order of the world powers has a deeply concerning resonance today. Is this adventure book fact or fiction? You must decide for yourself! The conspiracy is widespread and adversaries are as motivated as Adam.

I received this debut novel free from the author, with a promise to leave a review. The author himself has had a very interesting life, which makes this book even more believable. He’s an excellent writer and tells a very interesting and descriptive story. It’s very Dan Brown and Tom Clancy -ish. The story has its beginnings in 1945 Berlin with the SS Reich and continues to current time, unearthing secrets around the world. It’s sometimes confusing and hard to follow all the characters but I still enjoyed it! I think it’s fiction, but makes you wonder....

See Glass by Ido Graf is a riveting novel with many themes blending into one such as political conspiracy, history, wartime and spy thriller. The expanse of the novel is vast and long, its timeline stretches from 1930s to right up till. The novel is poignant in telling how political conspiracies are set to avert a nation or its government, it takes time and people involved into it have higher vision than the just short-term gain.

Right at the beginning, the author meets one French Legionnaire in Spain who has a story to tell. The novel is that story. Broadly putting the novel is about Neo Nazis agenda of bringing of Fourth Reich in the world and that will happen with the help of huge gold that lays hidden in the castle of Zbiroh in current Czechia. However, the route to this place and its authenticity is missing from the main documents of the last vestiges of Nazis.

The story has many fronts and all are equally interesting and unpredictable. The lead character in the novel is Adam, a French Legion, who is a bodyguard of one Swiss citizen named Oscar. When he is killed, a lot of history begins unfolding and this one murder holds importance for the USA office, Mossad, Neo Nazis of German and Argentina, and above all it pushes Adam and Rebecca into ‘run for life’ situation.

Chase and hide, action, history through diary pages – all is brilliant. It converges to one point and you need to be with the book for a story that you will remember for lifetime. Graf’s narration of events and action is superb, the novel moves at a good speed and it does not allow readers to predict even a slightest sub plot.

This is a great read, which is mix of many themes into one like war fiction, adventure, spy thriller, and historical. The story has more than one fronts and it is riveting from all those points. Some Neo Nazis are trying to act in the footsteps of Nazi, but little did they know that the world has changed. I loved Adam and Rebecca's run and chase for the book and box. Truly a page turner thriller.

See Glass audiobook cover depicting See Glass is a new intense International Action Thriller written beautifully and with care by author Ido Graf.

With a captivating story that goes back to the dark days of Nazi Germany, See Glass opens with the chance meeting of two former French foreign legionnaires on a quiet beach of a fishing village in a secluded Andalusian bay in the far south of Spain.

One of them works as an investigative journalist and the other says that he handles private security. As the two brothers in arms start talking, one of them shares a story that at first seems to be pure fiction. But, when the journalist starts to investigate, he discovers that his former colleague has been involved in events that could have toppled the largest countries in the world. What follows is a crazy ride filled with conspiracies, secret agents, hired assassins, and dark secrets.

Expertly written, filled with intense action, high stakes events, ruthless individuals, violence, and with a scary scenario featuring the rebirth of the neo-Nazis movement, this novel will delight and entertain readers and listeners alike.

The audiobook version of See Glass is recorded by talented narrator Jarret LeMaster. He does a great job in bringing each character to life. He reads, he acts, he exquisitely performs each scene and switches with ease between different voices and accents.

I have listened to more than 1,300 audiobooks and his performance of the first chapter, where he narrates everything in a completely natural French accent, will stay with me for a long time. He also handles very well words in other languages. I’m really glad to have discovered Jarret LeMaster and I hope to listen soon to more audiobooks narrated by him.

The audio production is excellent, but the only, let’s say, negative thing that I noticed is that from time to time there are some edits that could pull the listener just a little out of this completely Immersive narrative experience.

Reminiscent of the classic Robert Ludlum novels and Tom Clancy’s John Clark action thrillers, See Glass is something that should not be missed by those who enjoy this genre! Also, I think that See Glass would make for a blockbuster action movie! My rating is five stars and I am eagerly awaiting a new book from Ido Graf.

See Glass by Ido Graf is a fascinating novel that covers themes like war fiction, political thriller, spy espionage thriller, light romance, and historical fiction. The novel shuttles between past and present, and all characters from both times are highly intriguing and robust to their roles. Right at the beginning, there is mention of French Legionnaire and then we see a piece of history of 1945 where two senior SS Nazi officers trying their best to flee the country as they knew Nazi was almost over. This lays the foundation of the further story.

Anyway coming back to the story fronts, we first see a Swiss citizen Oscar living in England is murdered. Adam, his special body guard and also a member of French Legion, picks up Rebecca and runs for safety. Rebecca is Oscar’s granddaughter. She has a diary of the old man that narrates his story of fate and involvement in Nazi during the WW-II. He held a secret that is being chased by Neo Nazi people of Germany and other countries. As said the book has multiple fronts and ends, thus, the entertainment quotient never dips. There is military action, run for life situations, spine-chilling events and much more. The novel is long and totally to the point and many characters converge for the same point.

Political conspiracies have their roots back in history, and this novel depicts this proposition in an excellent way. It is a great novel, the narration is superb.

See Glass by Ido Graf is an enticing novel on political conspiracies. The involvement of Mossad, Neo Nazis, French Legion, and SS converts this novel into something of high value. As soon as I realized that the book has world war story, I knew I was on something that I cannot ignore.

The story broadly is about Neo Nazis searching for some secret book, diary, and gold kept in hidden by the last men of SS people that either got killed or fled Germany.
When Oscar was killed, his bodyguard Adam and his granddaughter Rebecca are running for their
lives but soon their paths have a mission to accomplish and that will take them on the crossroads of Mossad and Neo Nazis and much more.

You keep reading and the story doesn’t leave you, it will take repeatedly from one loop to another. At times I felt being tumultuous and repetitive but the wait was worth. Rebecca has a personal diary of her grandfather, it has the secret of Zbiroh that could help Neo Nazis to recreate the history of Hitler. That’s the one front of the story. In fact, it has many but I that leave up to you. The novel mixes contemporary cold war concepts with the brutal history of Nazis, the combination is deadly.
All in all, way interesting than I could think of. I relished it like anything. Wonderful research and tapestry of words. Ido Graf has done a perfect job, hope his next books are bit short. Anyway 5 out of 5.

An amazing novel with an intermix of themes like war-fiction, political conspiracies, history, adventure and much more. The novel despite having multiple openings is a treat to read. It is about one old man around whom the entire plot revolves, I mean he is a sort of a catalytic agent to nudge the novel ahead. That man is Oscar, presumably a Swiss citizen, as soon as he is killed in England. Mossad and Neo Nazis begin the search for his granddaughter Rebecca and she is into hiding and running with one of the French Legion named Adam. As a reader we see them for much time. The novel shuttles between past of World War Two and current time. There are many secrets that can change the face of the world, especially for Mossad, American president, and Neo Nazis. Combining all aspects and points, the novel really becomes an action-packed thriller with one story of WW-II running like banter in the story. Despite its long stretch, I could read the book with full gusto. Overall, a riveting novel. Fantastically written and the author's background reflects in the writing. I loved characters and ambitious nature of Neo Nazis, though they are on villain's side. I liked the novel way beyond its genre. A must try, I feel.

Is it a political novel? Oh yes! Very much. However, there are interesting and exciting, and almost awe-inspiring details narrated by Adam and written by Franck (both are characters in the novel). Assassination attempts, successful assassinations, murders, conspiracies, political interference, diplomatic and international relations, spies, military, intelligence agencies, agents and operatives going rogue... you will find everything. However, as I have mentioned in the detailed review that I did, the novel might sound too descriptive at times and you will be able to measure the height that smoke coming out of a cigarette achieves... For the lovers of Victorian and romantic novels, voluminous and prolonged, this will be a treat. For modern readers, this might come down to interest and affinity. If you love reading Bond rather than watching it, you will find Ido Graf's novel wonderfully plotted and executed! Enjoy!

Mainly it features the story of Adam and Rebecca. A lot of tumultuous story through many characters and countries but at the limelight remains Adam and Rebecca, both somehow connected to one old man Oscar. They are on the run, while doing that they come across a diary and they decide to find out the secrets of Nazi. It’s an interesting novel with promising climaxes, full of action and adventure, anyone who enjoys war and political oriented novels at a slow pace, will find this novel nothing less than a gem. I got many things from the novel but still I would like to say that I could not get the exact meaning of title. The story is highly unpredictable and after one point steers at its own pace. Getting so many themes bundled into one novel is rare and if you got it, you need to appreciate all the efforts of the author.

See Glass by Ido Graf is an intriguing title but the novel is highly entertaining and interesting because it blends many aspects into one. From political conspiracies to cold war strategies, the novel nudges ahead with a great speed, and it is supported by a long cast of characters and sub plots. I relished it thoroughly as when I stumbled upon two French Legionnaires meet right at the beginning. My excitement grew as the book chugs ahead, the part of Oscar was really nail-biting. In the current time, he was a Swiss citizen but his diary says he was a SS and knew where the last Nazis hid the tons of gold in some palace. He held some secrets and that were sought by Neo Nazis, Mossad, and the USA. Brilliantly paced up, unpredictability at its best.

Ido Graf’s See Glass is a fascinating political thriller with a mix of war fiction, spy espionage thriller, light romance, and historical fiction into one. History runs deep in this novel. When one Swiss citizen Oscar is murdered, the world’s powerful countries try to get the hunch of the events that can subvert their national security. But that murder has much to do than just taking note of contemporary reactions. Who was that old man and what he has to do with WW-II’s Nazi and SS. Tumultuous and interesting, I fell in love with this book as soon as it opens its venues for history. Superbly narrated, there is a total unpredictability in the book. It will keep you hooked till the last page, the more you read it, the more you feel like knowing its end.

It is a mix of war fiction, political conspiracies, espionage thriller with history as one of its major part. After initial hiccups, I read this novel in one go. The story is about subverting the power of the USA and finding the SS people of WW-II, and Neo Nazis dreaming to capture the world again to bring Fourth Reich. Overall, a nice and captivating novel with a lot of adventure and action under its skin. I will not discuss the story here, it’s better to read and experience the thrill by yourself. I loved the sub stories, run and chase and history of WW-II through that old man’s diary. Great reading experience, liked it.

I found this book to be quite complex and well-written. My biggest criticism is that was difficult for me at times to keep track of key characters as most of the chapters shifted from one group or location to another. While a work of fiction, I found the subject matter to be somewhat disturbing as there are some similarities with what may be going on in the world today. Nazism wasn't eliminated following World War II. It was set back and driven under ground for a while. It continues to fester and seems to be gaining traction in a number of places. Today, the rise of fascism and right-wing extremism should be of concern to everyone.

See Glass by Idol Graf

This is the first book self -published by the author, but No. 3 in a series. Kindle from Amazon at $2.99, and free at Kindle unlimited. It is well written and the short chapters keep you immersed in a wild far reaching story. As. One reviewer said, I hope it is ax novel. You will love it! It's hard to put down! One of those I'll just read one mire chapter books!!

An OK Book but......

Good story but spoiled by the terrible overuse of commas and apostrophes, usually placed most inappropriately. It made reading this book a laborious process as I continually had to reread sections to try and fully understand what the author was trying to say. Numerous spelling mistakes added to my irritation and I really had to force myself to finish the book. A shame really as the story had the makings of a good read.

A very interesting read that lives up to it's hype, but not the intrigue of the prologue. Perhaps a second read will clarify that for me. Reading it on the Kindle though, does not allow one to quickly skip through the pages to reinforce one's memory about previously introduced characters. And a lot of characters do grace this book.

First, I want to say thank you to Goodreads Giveaways!
I actually enjoyed this so I would give it more like a solid 3.5/5 There were many characters and many with foreign sounding names ( to me anyway) which made it a bit confusing as to who was who...I read on my Kindle, so that made it difficult to flip back to see who someone was etc. A physical copy would have been better.

Self-publishing is no excuse for grammar & punctuation that's so bad you find yourself re-reading passages. The comparisons to Follett & Grisham are laughable.
