Neither Ansley, Earl of Scarborough, or Willow Harwood are prepared for the upheaval to their lives when she reluctantly accepts his offer of employment... as his housekeeper. Nor can either predict the mayhem that follows when a lord who disdains society and a country miss with no experience plan a haut ton Christmastide gathering.

Can a debutante labeled as daft and an Earl marked a dangerous find a way together.

I do love Mrs Tammy Andresen’s work, when I need something to cheer my mood, her stories, like this one, short and fast to read are the perfect answer.
This one has a winter background with a whiff of Christmas in the air.
Both main characters are very lovable, they wear their wounds and scars as a second skin.
Fin touched by Chloe’s plea, proclaims himself her knight in not so shining armor, when Chloe awakens in Fin, sentiments he thought buried long ago.

This novella deals with strong topics, they are only skimmed but they explain both heroes main issues. Each thought them unworthy of the other.
It was a sweet read with a bit of steam, with the vilains easily dealt with, and a group of kind friends to show the heroes what they might miss if they stay silent about their feelings.
4 stars for this the lovely tale.

When the hero saves the day in less time to spell it...

After months of leaving under pressure in dire circumstances, Lara is at the end of her rope.
Why she breaks in her brother’s best friend home, in hope to find new blood to help her. And help she will have, like a savior, Marcus will solve nearly everything.
This one book is not my favorite of Mrs Platt’s work, everything went too fast, from the insta-love to the insta-resolution.
The main characters are sweet and kind, instantly attracted to one another once they rekindle their own relationship but the action moved much too fast around them.
As if with a magic wand Marcus can undo everything when Lara struggled for months.

I confess I would have liked a bit more actions for them, to get more time together, to work on their feelings. And when apart, maybe read some exchanges letters or read about their thoughts ...
In all it is a swift read with two cute characters.

Will two people whose characters clash be able to open their eyes on their feelings in time ...

This is my introduction read to Mrs Amanda Mariel’s work and I must say I just loved the opening of this book.
It was witty and fun.
Carstine, such an usual name, as is its bearer. I loved the spitefire in her, she is funny and snarky. She plays to win and enjoys life at the fullest.
Blake is the classic rake, upon seeing a woman, he decides he will bed her, it is a wrong move as the Miss is not the one he thought she was, but she is also so much more entertaining.
I loved their many interactions, as her sharp tongue and vitality brings charms and humor to their encounters.
I was just disappointed she let herself be told what to do and worse that she agreed, it was so out of her character.
As for her wantonness, she was quite a hellion why I was upset at her change of attitude afterward.
I understand the length of the story is what impeded the narrative thus the turn of event and the rushed end.
I feels a bit sad for Mr Kingston as even if he was not the most creative suitor, he was kind and true.
4 stars for this entertaining fast read.

Will a marriage of convenience be enough to fulfill all their dreams ...

This is my first-ever read by Mrs Madeline Martin, and definitely not my last.
I read this book in a flash, so eager to see how James and Penelope would settle and deal with married life.
Penelope is focused on only one thing, pursuing her medical career and nothing else can make her diverge from her path until she is told her marital status or absence of it does not allow her anymore access to the hospital.
Thus her agreement to James’ offer, as it suits her purpose.
James never expected nor wanted to inherit a title, and even less inherit his cousin’s fiancée, the very one who left him for the title of said cousin. Since he did some growing up and is no more the green lad he once was, yet he is willing to become the Earl his family and estates need. And with it, comes the need to marry, why he thinks he has found the perfect associate with Penelope.
It is such a sensual and fun read witnessing Penelope and James falling for each other by igniting their longing and feeding their needs of knowledge.
Mrs Martin portrayed two wonderful characters very focused on their task, with some flaws but also the asset they could be for others, if only they would be accepted more easily but it was a different time. It was so entertaining to see them overcome one by one their own misconceptions about their arranged marriage to accept the other and see what jewel they have indeed married.

Will an Earl sets on revenge, be able to let the past go to make room for a new love ...

Slowly I am discovering the many authors writing for this charming series, The Wicked Earls Club.
And today Mrs Aubrey Wynne was one of them.
As she pointed out in her Afterword note, the story, a Christmas themed tale begins on the worst omen, yet, it is to emphasize the journey the hero will face until he finds peace.
Nicholas, perfect name for a avenging angel during Christmastide. While he was as much a victim as his late wife, he bears the burden of her irremediable decision, and never allowed himself to rest until he sets her soul free from her suffering. But in doing this promise, he got himself trapped in the way, now locked up in the coffin of the walls surrounding his heart.
Hannah has longed for her soulmate all her young life, and she definitively thought she had found him in the person of her brother’s childhood friend, while her instant attraction to Nicholas unsettles her to no end, until she sees a glimpse of the real man he tries to hide behind his society’s mask. From there, she decides to open her eyes and heart to catch him as he might not realize, yet, how much he will need her.

In all, a wonderful story of healing and the strength love can give us.

On a special note, I loved the author gave some particular scenes the outlook from both sides, it is refreshing.
I am just a bit disappointed is the dashing cover model is not sharing the blond hero, fair features.
5 stars for this moving tale.

When a woman rewarded for her help is being hired as a housekeeper by a lord, what is she to make of their attraction.

Mrs Collette Cameron with this new addition to the Wicked Earls’ Club series offers a sweet and bright read.
Despite the shortness of this story, the characters are perfectly painted, their qualities and society’s seen shortcomings well developed, so much I rooted for them and loved to see them navigate the muddy water of the employer-employee relationship while drawn to each other.

Ansley is no usual lord, he is plagued with obsessive-compulsive disorder, his whole life is scheduled and disruptions cause him troubles, plus he avoids as much as possible to meddle with his peers. But everything is derailed upon his first encounter with a lovely fearless miss. From then, his so ordained life takes a new turn, and it seems to bother him far less it should have.
Willow has the course of life once more hampered, she was one more told there is no room for her because of her heritage. When she is proposed an unexpected job’s offer by the very man she helped the night before to defend himself against some miscreants.
But what is she to do when their chemistry threatens her position.

Mrs Cameron did a wonderful work at describing the tumult of their heart, the subtle changes of their relationship and the depth of their sentiments. With nuance, she leads her characters in a merry game of hide-and-seek, until their very feelings seize control.
A lovely and delightful read, perfect for the season.

What's better than one wicked Earl? Why ten of them! Plus by some of the very best authors of historical romance! Sit back and enjoy!

Earl of Dryden by Tammy Andresen
Sigh, oh yes, my heart just melted while reading this story.
Chloe was a wounded soul. Brokenhearted at the passing of her mother at thirteen. Her guardian aunt, so unkind who made her feel worthless, so she stopped speaking. Now she just wants to get Chloe married off.
Fenton, Lord Dryden has been broken himself. Travelled to the dark depths and has just made it back but there is a lot he holds close and the darkness keeps trying to creep in....until he finds her.
When these two meet, it is a classic... yes Tammy Andresen at her best. Two kindred spirits that have found each other in an unusual way.
Could Chloe and Fin possibly find love and heal each other? Or would their past be too much?
A beautiful, romantic story that held everything I love as I turned the pages. If only he can realize how much he has to give and she open up and help him and herself. I want to tell you the whole story, but you will just have to read it and you will thank me. Or rather you will thank Tammy as I do for giving us the Earl of Dryden.

Earl of Bergen by Anna St Claire
The most perfect Christmas story that captured my heart and spirit! Anna St Clair has outdone herself with her magical words bringing forth moments that meld together finding happiness when least expected and the true meaning of Christmas.
When Thomas, Earl of Bergen stops at an Inn on his way to London, he would never have thought his life would change forever. A charming donkey he named Clarence (yes loved him) with a magical talisman hanging around his neck, a widower who takes care of helpless animals and children of her deceased husband’s and a Christmas play, kept me unable to stop reading until the last page was turned. Did it make my heart smile? Oh yes and then some. Thank you Anna!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Earl of Kent by Lauren Smith
Be still my heart. I knew this would be amazing because it is by one of my very favorite authors that is always a must read. She can bring the imperfect broken hero to life like no other and that is my favorite trope of all. To see their journey to love always warms my heart and in this one, there is the heroine who has been in love with him since she first saw him when she was fifteen. Sigh.
Phillip, the Earl of Kent. Lost his parents when he was young and had a great sadness.. Years later he almost lost his life and became a broken man in more ways than one.
Ella Lonsdale is the sister of Graham, Phillip's close friend and has always had a tender place in her heart for him. When he is badly hurt she nurses him to the point he can walk.
But Phillip know he cannot get involved with her and why would she want him? Broken, inside and out and nothing to give.
Fortunately, determined woman can work miracles and that is what she intends to do with Phillip. Can he find peace and love?
As I said in the beginning, this touched my heart and I loved Phillip and Ella who were meant to be together. Thank you Lauren!

Earl of Kinross by Meara Platt
If ever there was a true hero, it is Marcus Brayden, Earl of Kinross. He won my heart in record time, of course what am I saying! Meara Platt is the author, so I knew this was going to be a special romance!
A heroine who is desperate for help because her family was in dire straits, oh yes, pretty bad. She turns to the exact person who could help her without any hesitation. Of course she sneaks into his house so she can talk to him and wow, does she get a surprise! He hauls her in as she is climbing in the window and tosses her in a chair.
"Her eyes focused on this bare-chested man who was the size of a Roman gladiator. Oh..my...heavens. She tried not to gawk at the dusting of dark hair across his tanned chest or the the path that line of hair took downward to his navel. Heaven help her but he was splendid." Paraphrased but I felt a little faint myself!
Sorry, I digressed just had to share that! With a little of everything needed to be a perfect story... adventure, romance, villains and a swoon worthy hero that I will not forget soon.
Don't miss this enthralling story that you really will not be able to put down once you turn the first page. Sigh...
One person fo

Earl of Oakhurst by Madeline Martin
Famous last words as they discussed their marriage of convenience.
"Ye would have yer freedom to return to the hospital, and comfort in that ye are knowingly with a man ye dinna have to love," James MacKenzie said.
"And you would be released of the obligation to wed your cousin's fiancee by marrying a woman you do not have to love," Lady Penelope concluded.
"Then it appears we have an agreement, Lord Oakhurst." Thus the wonderful journey begins!
Such a different start to a story that I seriously could not stop once I began. The newly minted Earl of Oakhurst was in dire need to "learn" to be an Earl and the first direction he had from his beloved Grandmother was to find a bride. But he had a bad experience in his past and had no desire to become close or love another woman.
Penelope had no wish to marry but she was being pushed into it in order to maintain working with patients at the hospital. It was "unseemly" for an unwed lady to be on her own working. She also felt she might be unable to fall in love with a gentlman.
A slow burn that will just make you sigh with contentment. But don't be too much in a hurry because there are some bumps and curves along the way!! Loved these two!! Perfect!!!

Earl of Scarborough by Collette Cameron
The most imperfect, but absolutely perfect hero, the Earl of Scarborough stole my heart and still has not let go! What's a reader to do? Hopefully see it released on audible and fall in love again! (hint). There are just so many wonderful things I want to tell you about this story, but unfortunately, it would be the entire book! Collette Cameron continues to creates stories that are awe-inspiring, bringing to life characters that have you laughing, sighing and tugging at the heart for their challenges in life and their triumphs.
Ansley, the Earl of Scarborough was a man of routine, order and precision and when he stepped outside of his comfort zone, it did not always go well. But he was trying, visiting the Wicked Earls club and getting to know the gentleman.
When he met Willow Harwood, his, as well as her life would never be the same! Willow helped save him from an attack by ruffians and he in turn saved her from ending up on the street!
A magical tale that I will long remember and read again to be sure.. Thank you Collette for bringing such happiness to my life with your amazing gift!

EARL OF DRYDEN by Tammy Andresen - Fenton, "Fin" to those close to him, Earl of Dryden had inherited a failing earldom after his parents died & he had fallen into a dark past of debauchery which included opium addiction. He has finally dug himself out & his business expertise has made the earldom healthy again, but he does not have his reputation back with society or reputable businesses. Miss Chloe Finch is known as a mute around the society ballrooms as she will not speak to anyone. She is lovely but lives with an Aunt who took her in after her parents died. Chloe needs a hero to save her from her present living situation & she never imagined when speaking to a marble statue in the ballroom that the dark & handsome Earl of Dryden would answer her back from behind the statue with a promise to help her. Fin & Chloe needed each other - she could be his wife, provide an heir & help mend his reputation & he could get her away from her overbearing, mean Aunt, get her inheritance to her because she was married & after she provided the heir, she could lead her own life. I enjoyed the story & Fin & Chloe were both very likable & you wanted their happiness from the beginning of the 1st chapter.

EARL OF KENT by Lauren Smith - This was an entertaining & romantic read that spanned 5 years - it began with the Christmas Season & ended in the Christmas Season. In the beginning, we find Phillip Wilkes, Earl of Kent, to be a roguish, handsome honorable man. He then begins a slide of gambling & carousing that finds him in debt & is forced to accept a deal from an acquaintance. He will call his debts paid if Phillip fights & Phillip agrees. Phillip becomes a broken & damaged man - both inside & out & disappears from society to his country estate. Ella Humphrey is the sister of Charles Humphrey, Earl of Lonsdale & younger brother, Graham Humphrey (who is Phillip's best friend). Ella met Phillip when she is 15 yrs. old, when Graham brought him home to celebrate Christmas & she fell in love with him instantly & never wavered in her feelings for the years to come. Phillip avoids her at all cost - she is his best friend's sister & he finds her enticing. intensifies. Later, Charles rescues Graham & a dying Phillip from the boxing venue & takes them to his home for care. Ella discovers Graham & Phillip have been injured & insists on traveling to Charles' home to see them. Graham will be fine, but Ella finds Phillip unconscious with a leg broken in two places, broken ribs, other cuts & bruises & an unrecognizable swollen & damaged face. She stays day & night for weeks until he was been able to walk - then he leaves her again to go to his country estate with only a message from her brother telling her thank you for saving him. Ella will not give up & with some help from her best friend & her husband, they head to Phillip's country estate. Will she be able to convince to come out into society again? Can she finally find out the reason why he hates her? Why does he keep leaving? All the questions will be answered in this lovely story with a couple you will root for from the beginning.

EARL OF KINROSS by Meara Platt - General Marcus Brayden, Earl of Kinross is home from the war. He was granted the earldom by the Crown for his heroic war service & hopefully; France will stay quiet & he can enjoy some time away from the fighting. However, the quiet seems to be an impossibility as a woman climbs over his townhouse wall & is attempting to find a way into his home. He grabs her, not knowing her identity, & hauls her to his study where he discovers it is his best friend's sister, Lara LeBrecque. Lara has known Marcus since she was very young & he is her last hope to help her family. She explains to Marcus that while he has been gone fighting, her father has been charged with treason & put under house arrest & Hugh, her brother, has been convicted of murdering Hugh & Marcus' best friend, Richard Harlan (not true) & Hugh had escaped prison & was off in somewhere in the West Indies searching for the real murderer so he can clear his name. Marcus forms a force of investigators & arranges for protection for Lara & her father. He & Lara work together to find clues & proof & the danger increases when some important people in the government are responsible for the fake charges against her father & brother. Lara has idolized Marcus as long as she can remember & Marcus has always protected & cared for her as a sister until he returned home & found her to be a beautiful, feisty, innocent lady that he can no longer think of as a sister.

EARL OF OAKHURST by Madeline Martin - Madeline Martin has created another story & characters I fell in love with - it is the romantic, humorous read about a marriage of convenience between two extraordinary people. And.......how can you go wrong with a handsome Scot who takes on the Ton? James MacKenzie is the new Earl of Oakhurst & it is not something he wants or expected. He had spent the last few years in his mother's country of Scotland as a valet to the Earl of Benton, Alistair Johnstone. His uncle died several years ago & MacKenzie's wastrel cousin, Gilbert inherited the title but now he was dead & now he was next to be called upon. He knows absolutely nothing about running an earldom, he hasn't been in London for several years, not since the lady he believed he loved announced her betrothal to Gilbert the new earl. His grandmother, Gemma as he affectionately calls her, will teach him all the ins & outs of being an earl but the first thing she says is he needs to marry & Lady Judith Eaton is still available as she never married his cousin - his answer was absolutely not but he must find someone quickly as Judith's father will be expecting a marriage between them. In her first season, Lady Penelope Keats was a diamond of the first water & many gentlemen interested in her until she let them know her interest in the art of healing & they discovered her intelligence - they all took their interest in her the other way & she was fine with that. Now, she is completely fine with not marrying, as a husband would never let her have the freedom to work or volunteer at a hospital. The problem she is presently facing is St. Thomas Hospital will no longer allow her to even volunteer there unless she is married. Penelope & James are introduced at a ball & quickly discover they each are facing & the two of them come up with an agreement with no love or children which works fine until their first kiss. The romantic, funny & stubbornness of both of them not admitting how they really feel is an entertaining read. I loved his Grandmother & Penelope's mother was a too - the were both matchmakers & couldn't wait for love & babies!

EARL OF SCARBOROUGH by Collette Cameron - What an fantastic book! It was full of humor that kept me smiling most of the way through it & the characters were all so engaging that you couldn't wait to turn to the next page. Ansley Twistleton, the Earl of Scarborough is the "shining star" of this story with his very strictly organized schedule, he is socially inept & so sarcastic that he even questions his own sanity. He keeps a rock in his pocket to rub if he becomes agitated & he has a nervous tic but he was Greek God handsome with a physique to match & he is intelligent. Who could resist a earl like Ansley? And then one night he met Willow Harwood. Willow was half American & half English & was born & raised in Connecticut for the first 14 years of her life & when her father died, her Mother took Willow back to her father's home in England where she had been well educated. After her Mother died & later her Grandfather, the people in the little town of Cambridgeshire were not kind to her so she struck out for London to find a position as a governess. It all begins her for Ansley & Willow - they are thrown together due to no fault of their own & the places it takes them along with all the humor, scandals & romance is a fun & touching story that does take them to their HEA. This is an entertaining story with wonderful characters - I know you will enjoy this as much as I did!

EARL OF DRYDEN: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The shy debutante and the dark Lord. Two tortured souls find they give each other strength.
EARL OF KENT: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A man who lost all his happiness in a gambling game that resulted in him beaten savagely and left for dead. An angel attended to him for weeks while he was recovering. When he realized who it was he fled. Feeling broken he became a recluse. His angel has loved him since she was fifteen. When she was deliberately dumped by her friend at his home without invitation she was hurt. But as it turned out she brought light and life back into his soul. But then he let her walk away because of his fears and insecurities. Having to face himself in order to win her back was the greatest test of his life.

Earl of Kinross:

EARL OF BERGEN: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a wonderful and unique love story. All it took was Clarence the singing donkey, intelligent and kind to bring together Lady Faith Bergen and Lord Thomas, Earl of Bergen, two rivaling aunts, a menagerie of animals, and three orphans. Faith and Thomas had an atypical introduction. Which led to attraction, coziness and he was well liked by the children. Faith never expected to find a man to accept her and her unusual family and love her for herself. But Thomas proved her wrong. An excellent read full of passion, romance, family and some danger.
EARL OF CHARM: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely, captivating, fascinating love story. Alex is now Earl of Charmian after the death of his older brother. Alex has social inadequacies for example: he does not know how to small talk, he does not focus on listening to those speaking to him, he allows himself to drift into his own thoughts and he feels inadequate to be the new earl. Luckily for him his great-aunt Gertie brought her companion Clara with her. Clara is an expert instructor on charm and social graces. I liked both Alex and Clara's characters very much. They were sweet, honest, wanted to do right by others and help in anyway they can. Their attraction was immediate and significant. Alex had other obligations that could never include Clara and thus he struggled. He found wisdom coming from someone who comprehended the stickpin Alex wore to honor his brother. It was the initial W. The conversation turned out to be vital to Alex's happiness. A lovely story full of emotion and feelings, honesty and truthfulness, duty or happiness. A must read.
EARL OF WOODCLIFFE: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unexpected romance from a unique wager. Mercy, the daughter of a duke and sister to the Earl of Woodcliffe’s dear friend Markham. Mercy’s friends came up with a wager to ward off their boredom. They drew names and had to have one of them witness a kiss. Mercy drew Woodcliffe’s name. They were childhood friends and Mercy always felt the closest to Woodcliffe than any of her brother’s friends. She got her kiss but forgot to have it witnessed by one of the other girls. Something started brewing between Mercy and Woodcliffe. Woodcliffe lost all his money gambling but what was worse was that his man of business stole all the rest of his savings. His father refused to help him. Markham let Woodcliffe have the time to rebuild his finances to pay him back. In the meantime, Mercy and him were spending an extraordinary amount of time together. Everyone expected a proposal soon. Woodcliffe could not offer because he had no funds. But on Christmas he gave her a beautiful sentimental token of his promise to marry her when the time was right. The story ended and it felt incomplete. I was enjoying it until the last page where I felt a little disappointed at the ending.
THE EARL OF EDGEMORE: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Enemies to lovers to marriage. This was a truly funny romantic story. I absolutely adored the main characters Blake Fox, Earl of Edgemore and Miss Carstine Greer. From the very beginning war of words were waged between them. This was so entertaining. A very good read.
EARL OF OAKHURST: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A not so simple marriage of convenience. James MacKenzie unwillingly became the new Earl of Oakhurst after the death of his only cousin. He grew up in Scotland and knew how the ton would be unforgiving of his background. His only living relative, his grandmother, the Dowager Countess of Oakhurst summons him to London to learn the way of being an earl. Upon his arrival one thing was made very clear he must marry. Lady Penelope Keats, eldest daughter of the Earl of Bursbury has dedicated her life to medicine. She is determined to learn to be a physician even though the medical board would never allow her to attain the title. She is relieved of her duties at the hospital for being unwed. Upset she realizes what she must do. When James and Penelope meet and realize neither want marriage nor care about love. They agree to a marriage of convenience for different reasons. Then danger strikes and all either one can think of is they never got to tell the other they fell in love. An honorable read, straight and true.
EARL OF DARBY: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A rape, a deception to marry, truth revealed, incessed emotions, a suicide, a manhunt to avenge the innocent victim. Nicholas, the Earl of Darby had so much to deal with. His guilt, his need to avenge and imprison the perpetrator, deal with his conniving mother and protect his sister Mattie on her come out. Added to this the responsibility of watching over his best friend’s younger sister making her come out. I absolutely loved this story. It had the elements that are so fitting for any year, decade or century. Christmas time is a time that is experienced so differently for many people and this is just one story of many. I really identified with the all the characters. Especially the main characters. The emotions and feelings are realistic, sober, logical and reasonable. An excellent story. I highly recommend it.
EARL OF SCARBOROUGH: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A man who follows a strict routine and becomes out of sorts if something changes meets an independent woman who speaks her mind, is brave and selfless. Ansley, the Earl of Scarborough after meeting Miss Willow Harwood found himself easing from some of his routines and this astonished him. Maybe just maybe was he growing out of it? No, he realized it was Willow’s influence that had him relaxing and feeling more peace within himself than he has ever known. Willow has been in England for years. She grew up in America but had an English mother. Due to her meddling landlady, she would never find work. She accused Willow of having a clandestine relationship with the Earl and did humiliate her in public. With her American accent she was surely doomed. Ansley offered her an open position in his household as housekeeper. This saved her for she was turned out of the boarding house, had no more money and no where to go. All her immediate family had long passed away. There was an undeniable attraction between Willow and Ansley. Ansley knew he could not live without her. As time passed, they became closer and were finally caught in a compromising position by none other than his mother. But she turned out to be quite surprising. She encouraged Ansley to do right by Willow and marry her. I wonder if Ansley was a little Autistic. He had a rigid routine, if disrupted it cause great anxiety and nervousness, he also excelled at the piano and bagpipes, was terrible is social situations and avoided them like the plague. But how Willow was able to help him relax and have more peace eludes me although I was very glad for him. An excellent story of one with an affliction and how it affected them and those around them.

I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Overall this was a good set. Remember this is my opinion and everyone is different. I have loved books others have hated.

Earl of Dryden- Tammy Anderson 4⭐
This was a quick read. I really liked the characters and plan to see if any of the other characters have their own books.

Earl of Kent- Lauren Smith 4⭐
Phillip was the perfect wounded hero and Ella the perfect heroine to help him heal. Characters are great. I am going to see if Lauren has books with the other characters.

Earl of Kinross- Meara Platt 5⭐
I was excited to read this book since I have read Pearl's of Fire (Lara's brother) and the other books with the Brayden men. As with Meara's other books, the characters are well-written and the story was interesting. The story flowed at a good pace throughout.

Earl of Bergen- Anna St. Claire 4⭐
This was a sweet and simple love story. I liked the characters, but they could have had a little more personality. Clarence made a great addition. I laughed often because of him. This book had nothing dramatic or intriguing, but I did enjoy it. This would make a great Hallmark Christmas movie.

Earl of Charm- Maggie Dallen 3⭐
This was a charming story. Sweet characters. Nothing wicked, hot, or passionate, but overall a good, quick read. He was not actually in the Wicked Earl's club.

Earl of Woodcliffe- Aileen Fish 2⭐
I liked the characters and the plot, but the story felt rushed and left me wanting to know what happened. Did Woodcliffe recuperate his loses? Did he and Mercy get married in days, weeks, months, years?
Nothing wicked about Woodcliffe.

Earl of Edgemore- Amanda Mariel 2⭐
I struggled to get through this story. 1. Why did she go for the season in December. To their country house, not London? 2. She kissed him for the second time and begged him to take her. 3. She tells his mother she must return home and gives the reason she is ruined. It is a small house party, that should limit who it could be. 4. How could her parents make it from Scotland within 5-6 days to attend the wedding.
It just did not click for me.

Earl of Oakhurst- Madeline Martin 4⭐
I read this book as part of Wicked Earl's Christmas set. I really enjoyed the characters. James and Penelope were both interesting and somewhat unique. I previously read Earl of Benton and liked it. I now want to read Earl of Kendal.

Earl of Darby- Aubrey Wynne 4⭐
This booked grabbed my attention immediately. The characters were well-written and I would like to read Matilda's book too.

Earl of Scarborough- Collette Cameron 5⭐
I loved this book! Saved the best for last. It is not your typical romance for an Earl. The characters are wonderful. I like that Scarborough is not only the perfect hero, but has a few quirks. Willow is not our average heroine, but I liked her immensely.
The book flowed at a great pace and held my interest throughout.
I can honestly say I've never been disappointed in any books by Collette Cameron.

Great set of stories.

Earl of Dryden
Fin has a painful past and doesn’t have a fine reputation. Chloe has lived with her aunt since her parents died, and her life has not been happy. It is said that she is a mute, and not very bright. When Fin meets her, she is asking a statue to save her from malicious old women. He is surprised to hear her speak, and answers that he will. Can he make things right in her life when he can’t seem to do the same for himself? Is it possible he can rescue Chloe and redeem himself?
This is a heartwarming story. It starts with uncertainty and sadness and works toward a happily ever after. Fin and Chloe loveable characters and are perfect for each other. A sweet courtship, a little steam, and a happy ending make this one you will enjoy.

Earl of Edgemore by Amanda Mariel
When Blake Fox, Earl of Edgemore, stops to help a young woman on the side of the road, he should have been a little more patient and found out who she is. He doesn’t know that he is about to get knocked right onto his arrogant a – attitude. Carstine Greer is staying with Blake’s family for a holiday house party to prepare for the season. Surprise! Neither Blake nor Carstine is really looking for a match at this party, so they agree to “attend” each other to keep others away. It is a perfect plan – if it works, and if they remember it is pretend.
This a quick holiday read. The characters are likeable, although it takes Blake awhile to get there. He is handsome and annoying and needs to grow up a little, no a lot. Carstine is sweet, if a bit naïve. Minerva and Mother are darling, and determined to make matches. A cute story. I enjoyed it.

Earl of Scarborough by Collette Cameron
When Ansley Twistleton, Earl of Scarborough, is set upon by thugs on his walk home, Miss Willow Harwood decides to help. She whacks one of the villains over the head with her umbrella. Ansley walks Willow to her boarding house. Ansley is impressed, curious, and drawn to this daring young woman. Willows feels much the same about him. Where will this story go from here?
This is a quick read, a lively and engaging story with a wonderful hero and heroine, a little odd in their own way, but absolutely loveable. Ansley is honorable, intelligent, and a bit eccentric. Willow is intelligent, well educated, thoughtful, and caring. She is American, which is causing her trouble finding employment as a governess. There are some nasty gossips, a love-struck butler, and a loving, very smart mama. I thoroughly enjoyed this story.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this boxed set.

Wicked Earl’s Christmas is a collection of Wicked Earl’s and their Christmas celebration. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving reviews for books I read. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Earl of Kendal is part of the Wicked Earls Club and the fifth book in the Matchmaker of Mayfair series. It was a short book and easily read in one sitting. Like most of the books by this author, it was well written and easy to read. The characters were charming and so easy to connect with.
Lady Sophia Stopford did not want to marry her father’s friend. She decides to escape marriage by traveling to Scotland and opening a whiskey distillery. She did not count on the Earl of Kendal following her. Kendal agreed to follow Sophia and marry her so his sister’s reputation would not be ruined further. He did not expect her to keep escaping and running away. He had no wish to marry but he had no choice. Eventually his admiration for Sophia grew and he questioned his decision.
The Earl of Dryden is part of the Wicked Earls Club series and is book 12 in the collaborating author’s series. It is also the first book of Tammy Andresen’s new series, the Chronicles of a Bluestocking. Chloe Finch was extremely shy and froze up when approached by someone she didn’t know. Most in Society thought she was mute and dumb. At a ball Chloe asks a statue to save her, as her aunt and friends are despairing about Chloe. When the statue answers yes and Fin, the Earl of Dryden, steps out, Chloe was afraid the rumors about her were correct. For reasons unknown to Fin, he felt concern for Chloe. Chloe felt comfortable with Fin and was able to speak to new people when around him. Fin was fond of Chloe but was afraid he would repeat his history and bring Chloe with him. They complimented each other, each give strength to the other. But can they overcome their fears in order to have their happy ending? This was a wonderful book to start the new series with and introduced Chloe’s friends who will be in the next books. It is also a great book to start the Christmas season of the Wicked Earls series.

Ten delightful books by well-known writers make this anthology very worthwhile. I have read all the books in this boxset and found that each one is as entertaining as the next. From the Earl of Dryden who discovers a wallflower talking to a statue, the Earl of Bergen and Clarence the opinionated donkey, the Earl of Charm who discovers that labels can be discarded and the Earl of Edgemore who mistakes his houseguest for a servant, each book brings its own flavour to the set. I especially enjoyed the Earl of Oakhurst and Lady Penelope Keats' story, where a marriage of convenience becomes a curiosity. Each book is a standalone and comes to a romantic conclusion. I received a copy of this anthology as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

What a wonderful and delightful book and Tammy Andresen never disappoints!! Earl of Dryden: Chronicles of a Bluestocking is book 12 in the Wicked Earls” Club series and how I am just loving this series. I hope it will go on for forever. Tammy has such an amazing imagination and her story are just a true joy to read. I could never get enough. This regency tale is easy to read and the characters are just wonderful and you can’t help but fall in love with them. This story has a mute, protection, a bad reputation, good friends, an evil aunt, abuse, cads, kindness and true love… oh sigh! I highly recommend you read this book or any of Tammy Andresen’s books, you won’t be disappointed.

***This book was gifted to me and I am voluntarily reviewing.

Wicked Earls' Christmas is a fantastic collection of historical romance books that take place during the holiday season, each book by a different author. These wonderful stories are standalones and none are cliff-hangers. This set contains enough drama, humor, spice, action and suspense to keep the biggest historical romance fan turning the pages. I enjoyed reading these stories and look forward to reading more from these outstanding authors.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from Bookfunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

EARL OF DRYDEN by Tammy Andresen:
Chloe is selectively mute, and has been for several years, which causes issues for her when her aunt forces her out into society. Fin is the one person besides her friends who has managed to break through her defenses. This was a good story and I was pleased to see a couple of characters from the earlier Wicked Earl's Club books make an appearance as well.

I previously received a free copy of this novella from the author. My review is voluntary. I have not read the rest of the books in this box set.

10 novellas by different authors all taking place over Christmastide, and each with a member of the Wicked Earls Club. Each story complete with HEA, some just sweet and a few with a little heat. I enjoy the Wicked Earls Club series they all tend to be more on the sweet side with very little wickedness. They can all be read independently with full engaging stories.

This is a series of Christmas novellas written by various authors. All books are about "wicked earls" and set in regency England. Delightful read. While there were some books I liked more than others, they were all a nice read. I received this book free for my honest review.

A Fun Anthology

I enjoyed all of the short novels in this collection. My only complaint is that the editing in some of them is atrocious. A few were perfect, others far from it, which is hard to understand in an anthology.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I liked all the characters and the storylines. Although, I probably won't buy another with so many authors in one book. Not my favorite thing to do. Looking forward to reading some more separate books by these authors.

Earl of Dryden by Tammy Andresen is part of the Wicked Earls' Christmas boxed set. The individual books came our last year and now for your reading pleasure they are in one set. The Earl of Dryden is the first story I have read out of the set so far. Awesome story. Grief comes manifests itself in many forms. A young lady losing her parents and raised by a mean aunt would make anyone mute. That is what happened to Miss Chloe Finch. She has a chance encounter with the Earl of Dryden and her life is changed forever. I definitely recommend this and all the stories in the boxed set.

Mostly good

I have to admit I skipped over at least two stories that did not appeal at all. The rest were wonderful, especially the ones that continued a series I've read. I don't usually care for short novella but I did like catching up with characters I recognized.
